Heyuan Hotels with Balcony

Stayed at the Palm Tree Hotel with my kids, and overall, it was a great experience! The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Legoland and the bonfire party area for the evenings. Our butler, Kiki, provided great service and was always quick to answer any questions. We did have a minor issue during our stay – the toothbrushes in the room shed bristles – but everything else was fantastic.

I and my wife have stayed at this hotel for the third time. The main reason is that the price is reasonable/the facilities are enough. The hotel is clean and tidy. Every employee is full of smiles and politeness. When the guests are waiting in the lobby, they are also very concerned about the guests. On the other hand, the staff at the front desk who speaks vernacular (Xiao and other employees) are particularly enthusiastic and active, or dedicated, which makes me especially like this hotel. Therefore, I am happy to become a member of this hotel. The breakfast environment is ideal and the food is very good. Thank you for providing two breakfasts for me to try.

This homestay should give five stars. It feels very comfortable when I first enter the park. The design is very good. The room is fully equipped and there are unexpected things. Although the tent bathroom is simpler, it is much more convenient than the camping I have lived in without a separate bathroom. The boss repeatedly emphasized to me that this is a tent, not a wooden house. I said ”I know” in my weak heart. I originally wanted to live in a tent, but the tent here can be equipped with a large hot spring pool. I have never seen it elsewhere. The sanitation inside is quite clean. The night view is very good for taking pictures and punching in. The sound quality in the room is very good, the bubble hot spring is very comfortable, and I will come again.

The room was clean and tidy. I stayed on the 10th floor, and although the window couldn't be opened completely, it didn't block out the noise of cars outside. Every morning, I was woken up by the noise of garbage trucks and other vehicles. The bathroom and toilet doors had a semi-transparent glass design, which compromised privacy. I also suggest the hotel add hooks to the bathroom. Furthermore, staff should be instructed not to speak loudly in the hallway outside the room in the morning. I was woken up and had to open the door and ask for quiet before they realized their mistake, but I was already awake and couldn't get a proper rest.

The hotel has its own free parking lot, which leads directly to the lobby. The rooms are clean, tidy and comfortable. The hotel has a good view. There are also washing machines and a gym, which are very convenient. There are many snacks downstairs. The main hotel front desk service is very good. The experience is very good. The location is very good. I am very satisfied with my stay.

The courtyard duplex we stayed in was quite clean and tidy. Our housekeeper, Xiao Ou, was very patient, giving us directions, providing complimentary fruit and supplies. The town itself had great scenery and fresh air, and there were many activities to do, making it suitable for family trips. I would definitely come again if I have the chance! 😊

Let's start with the negatives. The only downside is that the hotel isn't located by Wanlv Lake. Everything else is pretty much positive. Getting there from Guangzhou requires a winding, flat, mountain road of about 20 kilometers. Since it's not near the lake, but in the mountains, occupancy isn't as high as it usually is. It's very quiet. The staff was very helpful. The front desk said occupancy is high on weekends and holidays. Since we stayed on a weekday, they even upgraded our two rooms. Overall, it's suitable for group building and family activities. The hotel is spacious and beautiful, located in the mountains. There's an orchard (especially pears), basketball courts, badminton courts, table tennis courts, and hiking trails. The hotel is well designed, with many photogenic spots. There's also a small pool, barbecues, and costumed photographers who can help with photo shoots. The prices are cheaper than at artistic photo studios in Guangzhou. From the moment we stepped into this dinosaur park, our whole family entered an immersive world of fun.🌿 Outdoor Fun Overload: Every photo here looks like it's straight out of a whimsical forest. My child ran wild on the grass, and I, as a mom, finally got to indulge in my photography obsession, snapping away happily! 📸💦 Family Water Play Paradise: The mosaic-tiled, volcano-shaped fountain is incredibly well-designed! With gurgling water and swaying palm trees, it's a cool and refreshing haven for splashing around in the summer – definitely the perfect spot to beat the heat. 🌴🦕 Themed Rooms with Impeccable Details: The 'Dino Overlord Room' features a soft-padded headboard shaped like an adorable dinosaur, complemented by warm orange forest murals. It feels like sleeping in the Jurassic world, full of both security and childlike wonder.🧶 Indoor Art Surprise: The giant knitted Triceratops in the lobby is an absolute work of art! Its colorful, woven texture is warm and soothing. The kids were mesmerized by it, and even the adults couldn't resist taking photos. The entire space exudes a soft, fairytale-like ambiance. 🥙 Town's Specialty Dining: A hidden gem with Thai cuisine, BBQ, and even a late-night eatery. The food quality is truly excellent, the service is attentive, and the attention to detail is superb. I'm already planning another visit this summer.

We visited during the May Day holiday and upgraded to a lake-view king room by paying the difference in advance, which was a very smooth process. The hotel facilities are a bit outdated; the TV is an old non-smart LCD from years ago with no set-top box, so screen mirroring isn't possible, which was a minor letdown. The hotel also seems to be very understaffed; it took a long time for service requests to be fulfilled. Breakfast was a bit chaotic too, with a lot of people and even red plastic chairs in the restaurant, making it feel quite cheap. However, the view of Wanlv Lake from the window and the air quality were both excellent. The hotel only has three 20kw fast chargers, and all the slow chargers were out of service. Luckily, there were hardly any gas cars occupying the spots, and most people moved their cars promptly after charging.

The manor is beautiful, with many European-style wooden villas that are very pleasing to the eye; every corner is a picture-perfect spot. Check-in was very smooth. The room was quite large, with a balcony offering views of the manor's main attractions. The owner was very welcoming and readily available; he even helped us purchase hot spring tickets. The room was cozy, clean, and well-equipped, with bedding changed after each guest.
