Although the hotel wasn't crowded, we guests received one-on-one butler service. Our butlers were Shuangming and Anna. In the morning, the butlers delivered drinks and fruit to our room. We could also choose our own food. In the evening, there was a bedtime dessert soup. Throughout the day, any fruit or drink we wanted could be delivered to our room, including meals (which require an extra charge). FRIENDLIEST Hotel in China! Honestly, these were the kindest hotel owners we've ever had the pleasure to encounter. Kind and thoughtful and helpful. The rooms were super clean and quiet. Breakfast was an absolute feast...plus it was prepared early in the morning due to our early train departure. The hotel's location in Qiantong Town was perfect and scenic. And the nightly hotel rates were very affordable. I definitely recommend staying here.

The fish and shrimp for the island dinner were actually farmed, and the clams were the most common oil clams, which was a bit disappointing. The boss said that the bamboo shoots were freshly dug on the island, and the roasted bamboo shoots and meat were delicious. One plate was not enough, so he added more, which made me happy. The breakfast was simple, but it was clean. I was very happy to take a cat and a dog to the island to watch the sea.
