"What a pleasant surprise! This short stay far exceeded my expectations. The receptionist was incredibly attentive, checking me in quickly and always with a smile, making me feel welcome from the moment I entered. The hostel's location was also very convenient, in a quiet area, so I didn't have to worry about being disturbed. The room, though small, was spotless and tidy, with comfortable bedding and impeccable hygiene; there wasn't a speck of dust on the floor even when I walked barefoot. The overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, perfect for someone like me who wanted a peaceful place to rest for a day or two. The staff were all very friendly, and I could tell they genuinely cared about their guests. This stay was extremely pleasant, and I highly recommend it to anyone needing a short ”recharge.” I'll definitely be back!"

"It's 2 AM, and I can't sleep after writing this review in the courtyard, so I just got up and sat here. The night in Liuxing Street is so quiet, with only occasional dog barks and distant lights. The moon hangs above the apple tree. I've stayed at this hostel for three days and will be leaving tomorrow. There are some things I want to write down before I forget. First, let's talk about hygiene. I have a peculiar habit: the first thing I do when entering a room is to feel the tabletop and windowsill. And truly, it was spotless. The floor is wood-grain tile, and walking barefoot on it felt perfectly clean. The bedding was freshly changed and smelled warm, like it had been sun-dried. There wasn't a single hair on the public restroom floor, and the trash cans weren't emptied only when overflowing. What touched me most was that the cups in the wash area were placed upside down in a sterilizer cabinet, for guests to use. Yes, a sterilizer cabinet. Location: It's in an alley in Liuxing Street, but very easy to find. Turn right out of the door, and a small alley leads directly to the main street. To the left is an old residential area, perfect for aimless wandering. It's about seven or eight minutes' walk to the Alexander Accordion Museum and also to the famous ice cream shop. If you, like me, enjoy walking and exploring small alleys, this place is a paradise. There are three bus stops nearby, making it convenient to go to Kaxgar and Hanren Street. Service: The front desk staff was a girl with a ponytail, and her voice was soft. It was drizzling when I arrived on the first day, and she handed me a dry towel to wipe my hair. When I came back late at night, I found a message on the small blackboard at the entrance: 'There's yogurt in the fridge, help yourself.' I thought it was for a fee, but when I asked the next day, she smiled and said, 'It's free, we worry you might get overheated in this weather.' When I left, I forgot my power bank, and she chased me down two alleys. Facilities: The beds are incredibly stable; the bunk beds don't wobble. Each bunk has a curtain, a light, two power outlets, and a small shelf, perfect for a phone and glasses. The common area has a water dispenser (with both hot and cold water), a microwave, a refrigerator, and a toaster. There's also a washing machine that can be used by scanning a QR code. The most pleasant surprise was a small bookshelf with not many books, but a few picture books about Ali, which made me want to visit Mount Kailash as I flipped through them. Atmosphere: Unlike some hostels that deliberately force social interaction, the atmosphere here is very natural. In the evening, someone played the Dombra in the courtyard, while others just listened quietly. There was an older gentleman who had just returned from a pilgrimage, his feet still swollen, sitting on the steps drinking sweet tea, and no one disturbed him. Occasionally, people would strike up a conversation, also in soft voices. I'm sitting in the courtyard now, and the evening breeze is a little cool. The moon is bright, and I can see the shadows of the clouds. I'll probably feel a bit reluctant to leave tomorrow. But it's okay; I know I'll be back. The night of Liuxing Street, the dream of Mount Kailash, and the gentleness of this little courtyard all remind me why I'm always on the road."

"I score 6 out of 5. The room was beautifully decorated and clean, and my parents were very satisfied. Quiet, good for sleep. I heard that the rooftop can also see the Tianshan Mountain on both sides of Yining. I arrived late at night and was unwell, because it was the old town. I couldn't get a taxi for half an hour on the side of the road. I discussed with the landlord and drove us to the doctor and buy medicine. I was very intimate to help us find a shop for porridge. The next morning, I also sent the plane. Thank you for saving my life, I hope I have a chance to come again hahaha 😉"

"I stayed for 8 nights and absolutely loved every moment of it. The room was really clean and comfortable. It had a lot of space (even for me to do yoga in the room), and it had a lot of sunlight. The amount of sunlight was really important for me because I was working for about half the time there and spent a lot of time in the room. The desk made it very convenient for working. Now for the much more important part - the host was amazing. I was sad to leave because we formed a bond in the short time that we were there. She took us to the local bazaars, treated us to local delicacies, and showed us so much generosity and warmth. The food at the guesthouse is also amazing. I had many meals there because I was busy working and found all the dishes to be delicious and the portions very generous. I would come back to Yining just for this. I would be lucky if I had the opportunity to stay here again."

"I had an amazing stay at this place! The room was clean, spacious and had everything one may need. The location seems to be quite good as well - it is close to the street with evening activities and at the same time in a quiet place. I was able to find open restaurants after midnight within a 5 minute walk. Xinbao, the person who works there (I assume he is the owner), was incredibly helpful and showed me where I could have breakfast and catch a taxi to the airport. He was also very patient when communicating through a transition app."

"Good hostel, very social for chinese youth. They have nice common areas with pool, ping pong and lot of tables and seats. Beds are huge and comfy, very nice! People do stay up late so maybe don't expect a very quiet environment if you are a light sleeper. But location is close to railways station and walkable to many small stores and also a bigger supermaket. The area is beautiful, very nice for sunset and the terrace is huge and you can wash your clothes and just chill there on the top. The washing machine I think it is reserved only for the hostel, but it's ok. The staff was nice, especially the young boy who spoke good english and he was super helpful, patient. The inly thing I did not appreciate was the fact that you had to put on your bedsheets, I mean this is quite common in china, but for the price I think I should not be requiered to do this. Wifi was strong on all the floors exept the terrace and toiletries were provided. Showers were plenty, clean and nice with hit water. All in all it was a very positive experience."

"The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Six Star Street and major shopping centers, yet it's surprisingly quiet despite being in a bustling area, offering a truly cozy atmosphere. The room was spacious and bright, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The mattress and pillows were super comfortable, ensuring a sound night's sleep. The staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming, patiently answering all our questions and proactively offering lots of practical help. Overall, our stay was fantastic. We wouldn't hesitate to choose this hotel again on our next visit and highly recommend it!"

"The room seemed newly renovated and quite new. Since we couldn't book a family room, we booked a family room instead, but the layout was bizarre: one double bed and two single beds facing each other, separated by a TV cabinet. The two single beds were sideways to the door, and the air conditioner vent was directly above the bed closest to the door, with condensation dripping onto the bed just 1cm away. The bathroom was tiny; the sink faced the double bed without a door, and the toilet and shower had glass doors that let in light, disturbing those sleeping. Breakfast was at a nearby milk tea shop, 20 yuan per person, served with a voucher. Although it was buffet style, the selection was limited, and restocking was slow; dishes were quickly devoured. We were full, but there was very little oil or flavor. Service was practically nonexistent. The receptionists didn't even look up at guests during check-in, and when asked questions, they were unresponsive and became impatient. While all the other hotels we visited offered free drinking water, this one wouldn't give us an extra bottle, forcing us to get water from the water dispenser in the hallway – completely unacceptable for a room costing over 600 yuan!"
