"It's 2 AM, and I can't sleep after writing this review in the courtyard, so I just got up and sat here. The night in Liuxing Street is so quiet, with only occasional dog barks and distant lights. The moon hangs above the apple tree. I've stayed at this hostel for three days and will be leaving tomorrow. There are some things I want to write down before I forget. First, let's talk about hygiene. I have a peculiar habit: the first thing I do when entering a room is to feel the tabletop and windowsill. And truly, it was spotless. The floor is wood-grain tile, and walking barefoot on it felt perfectly clean. The bedding was freshly changed and smelled warm, like it had been sun-dried. There wasn't a single hair on the public restroom floor, and the trash cans weren't emptied only when overflowing. What touched me most was that the cups in the wash area were placed upside down in a sterilizer cabinet, for guests to use. Yes, a sterilizer cabinet. Location: It's in an alley in Liuxing Street, but very easy to find. Turn right out of the door, and a small alley leads directly to the main street. To the left is an old residential area, perfect for aimless wandering. It's about seven or eight minutes' walk to the Alexander Accordion Museum and also to the famous ice cream shop. If you, like me, enjoy walking and exploring small alleys, this place is a paradise. There are three bus stops nearby, making it convenient to go to Kaxgar and Hanren Street. Service: The front desk staff was a girl with a ponytail, and her voice was soft. It was drizzling when I arrived on the first day, and she handed me a dry towel to wipe my hair. When I came back late at night, I found a message on the small blackboard at the entrance: 'There's yogurt in the fridge, help yourself.' I thought it was for a fee, but when I asked the next day, she smiled and said, 'It's free, we worry you might get overheated in this weather.' When I left, I forgot my power bank, and she chased me down two alleys. Facilities: The beds are incredibly stable; the bunk beds don't wobble. Each bunk has a curtain, a light, two power outlets, and a small shelf, perfect for a phone and glasses. The common area has a water dispenser (with both hot and cold water), a microwave, a refrigerator, and a toaster. There's also a washing machine that can be used by scanning a QR code. The most pleasant surprise was a small bookshelf with not many books, but a few picture books about Ali, which made me want to visit Mount Kailash as I flipped through them. Atmosphere: Unlike some hostels that deliberately force social interaction, the atmosphere here is very natural. In the evening, someone played the Dombra in the courtyard, while others just listened quietly. There was an older gentleman who had just returned from a pilgrimage, his feet still swollen, sitting on the steps drinking sweet tea, and no one disturbed him. Occasionally, people would strike up a conversation, also in soft voices. I'm sitting in the courtyard now, and the evening breeze is a little cool. The moon is bright, and I can see the shadows of the clouds. I'll probably feel a bit reluctant to leave tomorrow. But it's okay; I know I'll be back. The night of Liuxing Street, the dream of Mount Kailash, and the gentleness of this little courtyard all remind me why I'm always on the road."

"I fell in love with Yining because of a guesthouse I visited. I originally planned to stay for two days, but ended up staying for many more. Every day I would stroll around the old town, then come back to the courtyard to chat and drink tea – it was so relaxing! The owner even personally grilled meat for us. This leisurely lifestyle was so pleasant; I didn't want to leave! Haha, I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Yining. I wish the owner booming business and lots of money!"

"Upon entering the hotel, the two receptionists were unfriendly and spoke only Uyghur, which we couldn't understand. The sign said check-in was at 12:00 PM, but we arrived at 4:00 PM and were told our room hadn't been cleaned yet. They ignored us when we asked further questions. They had absolutely no sense of service. We were so angry we wanted to call Hanting's headquarters to complain, considering the room cost over 600 yuan. Their service was completely unacceptable."

Just be careful not to park under the utility poles; we woke up to a car full of bird droppings! 😂😂😂"

Because it's newly opened, the decor is very modern, without any of the stale feel of older hotels. The bedding was clean and hygienic, the toiletries were of good quality, and the Wi-Fi was fast."

The unique textures and colors of the ethnic minority culture are evident in the carpets, countertops, bathroom partitions, and even the hotel corridors – truly captivating. The bedding is exceptionally high quality, the lighting design is well thought out, and the dual sinks perfectly meet my personal needs. The staff are all very enthusiastic, helping us with directions, carrying luggage, and taking great care of us. The breakfast buffet offers a good variety of options. I'm especially grateful to the hotel for noticing we left some clothing behind, contacting us immediately, and then shipping it back to our home via express delivery. All in all, it's a distinctive, tasteful, and well-designed hotel that's definitely worth revisiting."

I'd suggest installing a waterproof curtain between the shower and the toilet. Overall, I recommend staying here."

"Overall good. I have collected it and will stay here again if I have the chance. It's a new hotel and the overall situation is quite clean. The room is equipped with a refrigerator (which is really good. I bought a lot of Yili yogurt and drank two cups every day). There was a slight smell of decoration when I first moved in, but it didn't have much impact. Stayed three nights. When I checked in on the first night of February 24, a few drunk people came to the next door at 3 a.m. It was a big noise. I am especially grateful to the service staff (a girl) on duty at midnight who found another room for me on the same floor. I slept in the other room for a few hours. I slept soundly for the next two days. The hotel is located in a development zone, and the environment and road settings are great. I went there for breakfast, it was a bit simple but definitely filling."

The breakfast buffet is rich, taking into account the taste of the north and south, and there are local specialties. The front desk staff is patient and meticulous, the check-in and check-out process is simple and fast, the overall environment of the hotel is clean and quiet, the price is super high, and it is highly recommended to come to Yining by car!"

Even though I do not speak much Chinese, the front desk helped us arrange a private tour to Sayram Lake smoothly, which we really appreciated. The room was very large, extremely clean, and completely free from cigarette smell, making the stay very comfortable. The hotel price was also very reasonable for the quality provided. Breakfast was decent with enough variety to start the day well. Free laundry was a big plus during the trip. The location is also excellent — close to shopping malls and near Liuxing Street, making it very convenient for food, shopping, and walking around. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Yining!"

"This location is in a quiet neighbourhood but close to a nice street with restaurants and Liuxing Road nearby. However there were some quirks. The bathroom tiles have definitely not been cleaned in a while. Also everything is disposable, including single use towels which were very thin and came out of plastic packaging. I think it would be wise to use proper towels"
