"Yili Hotel is actually a formal reception venue primarily for business travelers and official guests. It's only open to regular tourists when there are no special events. The hotel has its own garden, and you can drive in directly without parking fees. Only at night will the gatekeeper need to confirm your entry. There are plenty of parking spaces inside. While it faces the common issue of hotels having aging facilities, Building 3, where our standard room was located, is generally quite new and appears to have been recently renovated. The breakfast area and suites are in the tall Building 2. The gym is in Building 6, with only a few treadmills and no dumbbells or other strength training equipment. Given the small space, that's probably all they could fit. There's also a supermarket, souvenir shop, and laundry room nearby. Breakfast offers a wide variety, though it wasn't entirely to my taste, and I don't recall seeing coffee. However, for tourists visiting Xinjiang, the exotic offerings are more than enough. The price for a standard room is only slightly higher than an all-season hotel in Yining, but the decor and amenities are significantly better. Overall, accommodation in Yining isn't cheap. My mother, who is in her sixties, was very happy staying here. She felt Yili Hotel was the best place she'd stayed in for days (though I personally prefer more modern and light-luxury style hotels)."

"Traveling in Xinjiang, there aren't many Marriott properties. Coming back to a Marriott felt like coming home. I booked rooms for my parents through Ctrip, and they got an upgrade. My own room was upgraded to a family room, which was a bit more spacious. Fairfield is not far from Liuxing Street and has an underground parking garage, which was very convenient."

"Firstly, this guesthouse is extremely beautiful 😍 And someone we feel Soo peaceful. The whole vibe is just Soo nice. It's like a perfect hideout from the bustling city. Secondly, the location was amazing! It's within the Kazanqi tourism area where you can see all the blues but it's towards the end so it's not as chaotic. This makes it perfect since the main gate is less than 10mins walk, the busy area is 5mins walk! So everything is Soo nearby and yet you can come home and rest peacefully since it's not in the middle of it all. Also, halal food options is around 1Km away so it's great! Thirdly, but NOT the last reason is the owners of this beautiful guesthouse!:) They are extremely friendly and welcoming! We arrived so late, around 1130pm, they waited patiently for us, guided our Didi to their location and help Carried our luggage. They even went above and beyond to help us find 1 day tour to Salimu/Sayram Lake and even help us contact our next guesthouse in Nalati to figure out how we can get there. Highly recommend and will definitely come back if we head back here 😍🩷"
Kazanqi Bespel B&B
"Let's start with the positives. The room was spacious, bright, and clean. The courtyard was large, and the staff were very patient and attentive. However, the formaldehyde smell was incredibly strong (it should be called renovation odor; formaldehyde is colorless and odorless, but the room smelled like paint mixed with a pungent glue). The room was a split-level structure, and the downstairs bathroom had a dry and wet area separated by a separate bathroom, but because it was isolated, it was a prime area for formaldehyde. The smell was so pungent that we tried to minimize our breathing when washing, using the bathroom, and showering. At night, we left the windows wide open and used clothes hangers to prop them up to prevent them from rebounding. We didn't even want to close the door... The next morning, I woke up around 5 or 6 with a sore throat, itchy nose, and constant sneezing. I felt dizzy and quickly opened the door. It took a while for me to feel better after standing outside. My husband's condition was more severe, and we were both very sensitive to this pungent smell. When I asked the staff, I learned that the hotel had been open since June after renovations. While the experience should have been pleasant, this noxious, pungent smell was truly unbearable, and I didn't sleep well the entire night."

This is the only time I stayed in a B&B without insomnia. The boss and the front desk are very enthusiastic. Come here. They were still tidying up the garden. In summer, the courtyard will look completely different."

"The location is a bit out of the way. To get to Six Star Street or Kazanqi, you'll need to take a taxi. If you're not too tired, taking the bus would involve about a 15-minute walk. If you're driving, parking is convenient, and getting in and out isn't congested. Being next to the street didn't make it feel noisy at all. Breakfast was typical hotel fare, but the late-night congee was a nice touch – a warm bowl really hit the spot when arriving late."
