"I went to Tibet with my girlfriend during the holidays and was just transiting in Baotou. I didn't expect to encounter a store with such good service. We arrived at the hotel a little after 11pm. The lady at the front desk was very welcoming. She first poured us two cups of hot water, and then asked if we had dinner during the check-in process. If not, the hotel would provide a bowl of noodles late at night. The staff were all very kind and offered to help carry the suitcases upstairs. I was really touched by the sincere service. The self-service laundry service and the buffet breakfast were very rich! There is free parking underground, and the surrounding business district is very prosperous, with food, drink, entertainment, and cinemas, everything you need! It is said to be the most prosperous commercial street in Baotou. It is convenient for travel. If you have the chance to come to Baotou, you will choose it again."

"Bad experience. The entrance automatic door closed suddenly and hurt my shoulder. At check in, the staff asked me to do the registration for them -- it's their job, not the customer! Design in the room was stupid -- faucet design is confusing and the hot/cold water is reversed. The "city view" room with bathtub is stupid -- the view is only an ugly building across the street, and you need to close the curtains if you take a bath, so what's the point? Also the "art" is so bad and tasteless. The light from the toilet is so bright, I had to unplug it to sleep... So many dumb problems here 😔"

Currently, there's some road construction right outside, but the front desk service was excellent, and the room itself was great with a floor-to-ceiling window. The breakfast spread was very generous, and I even had milk tea with fried rice, which was quite unique!"

"Solid hotel close to many good restaurants. Very spacious rooms. Just a 7 min taxi ride to the Baotou museum. The breakfast was fantastic. Really fantastic! The staff was friendly, and tried to help me organize an excursion to the Kubiqi desert. Unfortunately they messed that up (but then apologies profusely and gave me some gifts instead). Note to future tourists: Just take a Didi to the desert. Don’t bother about the bus."

"1. I booked this hotel because it is surrounded by the city grassland and Olympic Park. When I checked in at night, I hoped to be arranged to have a room with a view. I left early the next morning and also visited Baotou. I was told that there was no room, and I was arranged to have a room. The view is shown in the last picture. There is nothing else to say. In the morning, there is a lot of noise outside when I open the balcony door, similar to the noise of the air conditioner. So it may be that I didn't encounter the kind of front desk who actively upgraded the room as mentioned in the comments. 2. Not only was there water in the kettle, but the bottom of the kettle was also very dirty, see Figure 4, which is not even as good as ordinary hotels. 3. The door of the bathroom and shower room faces the bed, without any shelter, see Figure 5, it is very inconvenient for the family to take a bath, change clothes and take things. 4. The biggest complaint is that the alarm clock starts ringing at 5:30, and I was disturbed and didn't rest well at all. Even if it was booked by the previous guest, it should be a basic operation to reset the alarm clock when cleaning the room. In summary, I booked a five-star (diamond) rating for the environment, service and facilities, but this hotel is quite disappointing."

"Stayed at Shunsha for five days and four nights with my two young boys, and overall we were very satisfied. First off, the three meals a day, plus the VIP access to Xian Sha Island and Yue Sha Island, were definitely worth the price. The hotel itself has plenty of activities too. Even if you don't leave the hotel, you can have a great time with the pool, bar, coffee shop, e-sports room, and kids' play area. We also participated in various activities like biodiversity lessons, bonfires, and stargazing. The kids said they want to come back again next time!"

"The hotel photos and publicity are very grand. When you check in the front desk will surprise you with how slow it is. The suite in the room had no windows (I didn't see it when I booked it) and it was very stuffy without the air conditioner on. It's basically impossible to communicate with the waiter because he speaks in the local dialect and you can't understand each other. The facilities are very old. Breakfast was awkward. It's not cheap but needs to be done with caution."

"Outlook not promising but room size is good, bed is good., and clean room. Water pressure good. Only thing really annoying, smoking permitted everywhere, once you open the door lift, people sitting there smoking despite is a indoor non ventilated area, so smoke all the way to your room. Attention should be paid to this as we requested non smoking floor, non smoking room, away frok smoking. Staff is ok, just you wont feel the sincerity of service. Its just std sop. Laundry room is a plus as we travelling more than 20days, so we have been washing almost all the stop at hotel. Smart toilet is partial smart again, without bidet wash... Lol"
