"The facilities are a bit old, especially the bathroom. The upside is its excellent location with convenient transportation. Just downstairs, you have Baibai Wangfujing for easy shopping and dining. The service was also good, with unlimited mineral water supplied. When I discussed it with the front desk, they agreed to a late check-out until 2:30 PM. The rooms facing the street were a bit noisy, but the view was very open, offering a direct sight of the distant Yinshan Mountains."

"I have stayed in many hotels and rarely reviewed them. This time I would make an exception and recommend them. In one sentence, the price of a fast hotel is equivalent to the service of a five-star hotel. They are all places to sleep, and what distinguishes good from bad is precisely the details, bedding, supplies, hardware, network, etc. A small elevator sign and a small card all reflect the boss's intentions. There are some things that other hotels also have, but the difference between usability, ease of use or comfort is very different. Don’t forget your original intention. A hotel like this is popular wherever it opens! I originally planned to leave Baotou and go to Wushenqi today, but in the end I found an excuse to stay one more night. Thumbs up to the beauty at the front desk, she is very friendly."

"Booked this hotel last minute and it turned out to be a hidden gem! The bed was spotless, no dust whatsoever, and the bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable. My train was delayed, so I needed a late checkout, and the front desk readily agreed without any extra charge. Such genuine service! I'll definitely prioritize staying here again for my next trip."

Plus, the signage isn't very clear, so finding the hotel parking for the first time can be a bit tricky."

The room was clean and tidy, and the bed had just the right firmness – so comfortable after a long day of business. "It can be said to be a very bad experience, the service is really bad. Anyway, I will never go there again. 1. The TV cannot be projected. I asked the room service staff and they told me not to tinker with it. If it breaks, I won’t fix it. 2. There is a service for late check-out until 4 o'clock. I started calling at 12 o'clock and was still urging until 2 o'clock in the afternoon. I don't understand whether your hotel staff is specially trained. Also there are no luggage carts. This is still a four-star hotel, it doesn't have anything you want. It's really bad. 3. But it is worth commending the aunt in the guest room at around 3 o'clock, who is very dedicated."

"My stay at the Lotus Hotel far exceeded my expectations; it was an unforgettable desert getaway 🏜️. The hotel, shaped like a pristine white lotus, blooms in the Kubuqi Desert. Its unique architectural design, stunning against the golden dunes by day and magically illuminated by night, offers endless photo opportunities. The all-inclusive package is wonderfully hassle-free. The three buffet meals offer a wide variety, including authentic Inner Mongolian specialties, and snacks and drinks are available all day. The guest wristband grants unlimited access to Xiansha Island and Yuesha Island, with VIP access that bypasses long queues in the sun, significantly enhancing the overall experience. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows that provide direct desert views. A humidifier is a thoughtful touch, effectively combating the desert dryness. The staff are attentive and considerate, and the internal shuttle service makes getting around convenient. Watching the desert sunset in the evening, followed by a lively bonfire party and stargazing at night, creates a truly atmospheric experience. There’s no need to constantly travel back and forth to attractions; everything from dining to entertainment is handled in one place, making it perfect for families. If you’re visiting Xiangshawan, I highly recommend staying at the Lotus Hotel."
Baotou Jiuyuan Mansion
"1. I booked this hotel because it is surrounded by the city grassland and Olympic Park. When I checked in at night, I hoped to be arranged to have a room with a view. I left early the next morning and also visited Baotou. I was told that there was no room, and I was arranged to have a room. The view is shown in the last picture. There is nothing else to say. In the morning, there is a lot of noise outside when I open the balcony door, similar to the noise of the air conditioner. So it may be that I didn't encounter the kind of front desk who actively upgraded the room as mentioned in the comments. 2. Not only was there water in the kettle, but the bottom of the kettle was also very dirty, see Figure 4, which is not even as good as ordinary hotels. 3. The door of the bathroom and shower room faces the bed, without any shelter, see Figure 5, it is very inconvenient for the family to take a bath, change clothes and take things. 4. The biggest complaint is that the alarm clock starts ringing at 5:30, and I was disturbed and didn't rest well at all. Even if it was booked by the previous guest, it should be a basic operation to reset the alarm clock when cleaning the room. In summary, I booked a five-star (diamond) rating for the environment, service and facilities, but this hotel is quite disappointing."

The AR games were a big hit with the kids, and the esports room was a favorite among the older crowd.
