"My stay at the Xiangshawan Lotus Hotel was absolutely perfect, comfortable and pleasant throughout. The biggest surprise was the hotel's dining, which completely exceeded my expectations. The hotel is located deep in the desert, with its pure white lotus shape making it highly recognizable. The rooms have excellent lighting and views. The all-inclusive policy was a real convenience; the Sand Island and Joyful Sand Island attractions offered unlimited play with a wristband, and the exclusive skip-the-line access for guests saved a lot of waiting time. The evening activities like bonfires and stargazing created a fantastic atmosphere. The staff were warm and attentive, with meticulous and thoughtful services like luggage handling and inter-island shuttle buses, ensuring a hassle-free experience throughout our desert trip. There are also various entertainment facilities at the Blue Lotus Hall, where the 'Yue Lian Hui' (Leaping Lotus Club) allows children to experience the excitement of competition and the joy of winning. I must particularly praise the food: the breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets offered a rich and balanced selection of dishes. The authentic Inner Mongolian beef and lamb were tender and free of ***** taste, with hand-pulled lamb and freshly roasted lamb chops tasting truly authentic. For breakfast, the Mongolian milk tea and dairy products had an authentic flavor, and the hotpot for dinner featured fresh and ample ingredients. Chinese and Western hot dishes, desserts, fruits, and beverages were available in unlimited quantities throughout the day. The Shalian Hall also provided self-service snacks and drinks from day to night. Despite being in the dry desert, the food quality was consistently high, with timely replenishment of ingredients and stable flavors. Every meal was satisfying, and we didn't have to worry about finding food elsewhere. I must particularly praise the food: the breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets offered a rich and balanced selection of dishes. "Traveling with family, we booked a suite and it was incredibly spacious, with two bathrooms which was very convenient. There was also a separate living area. Although it's an older five-star hotel (some prefer modern design, but I lean towards classic styles), the facilities are still very well-maintained and up-to-date. The service was exceptional, from the doorman at the entrance, to the front desk during check-in, and even at the restaurant – everyone provided warm and enthusiastic service. Because the Executive Lounge was undergoing renovations, the hotel generously upgraded the Executive benefits to a buffet dinner, which was a very classy move. The restaurant service was excellent, and the variety of food was impressive. A special thank you to Assistant Director Song from the F&B department for their warm and thoughtful service. Also, a shout-out to the chef who makes the shumai for breakfast – it was delicious! And the Inner Mongolian milk tea was fantastic!"

"Our first stop on our Inner Mongolia trip, and this hotel comes highly recommended! The room was incredibly spacious, clean, and the night view was fantastic. The staff at the front desk, in the restaurant, and the concierge were all exceptionally warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. A special shout-out to Ryan at the front desk, who, seeing we had a child, upgraded our room for free! I also want to thank the hotel for helping me mail back a lost item!"

"Staying at Shunsha, I had a VIP wristband, which allowed for a smooth cable car ride to the island via Ropeway No. 3. The staff at the transfer station were very enthusiastic and helpful, contacting a shuttle bus to take us to the hotel. The young lady at the lobby was incredibly beautiful and welcoming. The kids' entertainment area was fantastic, featuring a 3D printer, microscopes for observing animal and plant furs, and even microscopes to view sand from various islands. There was also a VR room next to it. The pool lifeguard was amazing, constantly monitoring the kids in their glass boats. The pool area had a fantastic vibe in the evening. The staff even set up beach chairs for guests to watch the sunset, which was incredibly thoughtful. The stargazing guide in the evening was very engaging and knowledgeable, and there were quizzes with many small gifts given out. The 'Round-the-World' cocktail at the Starry Sky Bar was beautiful and tasted excellent. The upgraded water-view room (for an extra charge) offered an amazing view. On weekend evenings, there was even hotpot by the pool, creating a wonderful atmosphere."

"This hotel is located in the northern part of Baotou, an established state guesthouse. It's very close to the Northern Weapons City and there are a few good restaurants nearby; the 'braised noodles' are a local specialty worth trying. As it's an older hotel, the rooms aren't particularly spacious, and while the facilities have been updated, they're not exactly top-notch. However, the front desk and room staff are quite friendly. The hotel breakfast is excellent, especially the shaomai (steamed dumplings) which are delicious."

"1. I booked this hotel because it is surrounded by the city grassland and Olympic Park. When I checked in at night, I hoped to be arranged to have a room with a view. I left early the next morning and also visited Baotou. I was told that there was no room, and I was arranged to have a room. The view is shown in the last picture. There is nothing else to say. In the morning, there is a lot of noise outside when I open the balcony door, similar to the noise of the air conditioner. So it may be that I didn't encounter the kind of front desk who actively upgraded the room as mentioned in the comments. 2. Not only was there water in the kettle, but the bottom of the kettle was also very dirty, see Figure 4, which is not even as good as ordinary hotels. 3. The door of the bathroom and shower room faces the bed, without any shelter, see Figure 5, it is very inconvenient for the family to take a bath, change clothes and take things. 4. The biggest complaint is that the alarm clock starts ringing at 5:30, and I was disturbed and didn't rest well at all. Even if it was booked by the previous guest, it should be a basic operation to reset the alarm clock when cleaning the room. In summary, I booked a five-star (diamond) rating for the environment, service and facilities, but this hotel is quite disappointing."
