Ssherry_triplogThe hotel's location was great, close to the old town and within walking distance to the museum. There were also a few supermarkets nearby, which was convenient. The room was reasonably spacious, enough to open two suitcases. The kettle and refrigerator in the room were also a big help! The breakfast selection was quite extensive, and everything was delicious! I would definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

Vicci Consulado de Bilbao has a fantastic location—right in the heart of the city, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and public transport. It’s perfect for exploring Bilbao on foot.
The room itself was stylish and clean, though quite compact. If you’re traveling light, it’s fine, but space is definitely tight. One funny (and slightly painful) moment: I actually fell off the bed! It’s positioned close to the wall and a bit narrow, so maybe not ideal if you toss and turn at night.
Despite that, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall vibe of the hotel was modern and welcoming. I’d recommend it for solo travelers or couples who don’t mind a snug space and want to be in the middle of the action.

MMarmottoThe room was small for the price. The bathroom is a glass box inside the room, but the problem was there was no ventilation, and after a shower, steam would fill the room and linger. The location is excellent in the old town (on the perimeter), overlooking the main square and the theater. Tram, bus, and subway stops are just a few steps away. Excellent in this regard. The breakfast was monotonous (you'd notice after 3 nights), and the selection was questionable for 15 euros per person. I must mention the courtesy and kindness of the staff, from the reception to the bar and breakfast team.

GGuest UserThe lady at the front desk was very friendly and enthusiastic when we checked in, asking if we needed a map and briefly explaining the surrounding routes.
The water pressure in the bathroom was a bit low, and switching between the showerhead settings required some guesswork.
Breakfast had a decent variety of choices.
It's only about a ten-minute walk from the Guggenheim Museum and the airport bus stop. It would have been better if they had provided information about the airport bus service being suspended on May 1st, as we checked out on Labor Day and waited at the bus stop for over half an hour for nothing.

Especially if the pool provided by the gym is not available, not having to pay for the gym one would make more sense

GGuest UserIt is clean and friendly. The room condition is good for the price. (Hotels with the same price near Abando Station have smaller rooms for the same price) You can walk to major tourist attractions and public transportation is good, so it was convenient for sightseeing.

GGuest UserReally enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is very modern and clean, the rooms are massive with good facilities and the staff were friendly and helpful. It is also in an excellent location with amazing transport links (there is a direct bus from/to Bilbao airport). Both myself and my parents felt this is one of the best hotels we ever stayed in (especially given the price), and would certainly be staying here again if we are to return to Bilbao

Breakfast was excellent, with both made-to-order options and a buffet. There was also a great variety of fresh fruit.
The front desk staff and breakfast team were all very friendly and welcoming.
Although my room faced a residential area, it was surprisingly quiet with almost no noise at all. The room was clean, the bedding was comfortable, and I had a very pleasant stay here.

Rooms are spacious and clean. The bathroom had a shower and a bath which is unusual but well received. About 20 mins in a taxi from Bilbao airport.
Service was good at check in/out.
Roof top bar is a nice offer with a variety of drinks.
I would stay here again.

GGuest UserThe hotel itself is great, and I especially appreciated how kind and helpful the Colombian receptionist was.
However, my experience with the service was disappointing. I was staying for business, and although it was a bank holiday, I needed to use an iron before an important meeting. I had to wait 45 minutes, and when I called reception again, I was told that, following the housekeeping staff’s advice, they could only provide one after 10 a.m.
I explained that I was working and was already running late for my meeting. Thankfully, the receptionist eventually brought me the iron himself, and I really appreciated his help.
Overall, a nice hotel, but the situation with the iron was unnecessarily frustrating—especially for a business traveller.
