Travelodge Bilbao Sestao
"very good price and relatively good locations"
Goien Boutique Hotel
"Facilities: Decent enough, the only downside is that the hotel doesn't have its own parking. The nearest car park is about a 1km walk away. Cleanliness: Very good! Ambiance: Very good! The room was a bit small, but that's to be expected in the old town, and it was perfectly fine for one person. Service: Very good!"
Hotel Balneario Orduña Plaza
"The hotel's location is very good, centrally located in an iconic building. It's very well-maintained, and the rooms are very comfortable. The spa is very good, with a variety of pools, and the massages are very pleasant. It also has a very well-equipped gym, far exceeding the average found even in much better hotels. Room for improvement: the in-room safe is broken, and the closet should have doors, much better than a curtain. But above all, the service at breakfast could be improved. The guy in the kitchen the morning I was there was very unfriendly and rude. I asked him if they could make me some scrambled eggs (because the truth is that the healthy breakfast options were very limited), and his response was to slam the door in my face. Very unpleasant; it really has tarnished the rest of his colleagues' work."
NYX Hotel Bilbao by Leonardo Hotels
"The location was excellent. Staff were friendly and the hotel was new and clean. Great choice for breakfast"
Hotel Puerta de Bilbao
"EXCELLENT!"
Hotel Naval Sestao
"Terrible location. Below-average hotel, so was breakfast"
AXEL HOTEL BILBAO ONLY ADULTS
"What an amazing hotel, the staff were most friendly and helpful. Its proximity to the old town makes this a must stay location. The breakfast was spectacular and the rooftop pool and bar were fabulous. Overall an excellent location and will be a repeat stay for me in the future."
Líbere Bilbao Ledesma
"No reception in hotel, very bad customer service. I have booked standard studio room, but received basic room with no normal bed , just mattress on the floor. Hotel not resolved the problem… not answering in my massages. I not recommend this hotel…"
Ibis Budget Bilbao Arrigorriaga
"Quite a ways out, decent value for money, good breakfast. Parking available in front of the property, not fenced."

Sercotel Coliseo Bilbao
"Staff wete very friendly and really wanted to jelp. Lovely breakfast"
Puente Colgante Boutique Hotel
"Great location and beautiful views to Puente Colgante. Very friendly and helpful staff. It is advisable to make a reservation in advance at the restaurant el paladar by super chef Zirine Garcia. Delicious Michelin quality food."
Ibis Bilbao Barakaldo
"The room size is moderate, the breakfast is good, and overall it is a very ordinary hotel. The only bright spot is that there is a hypermarket nearby, which is convenient for eating and shopping"
Hotel Ilunion Bilbao
"It's just across the street from San Mames Stadium, so it's the first choice for watching football. The front desk staff are also very welcoming. Although the room is not big, it is clean and has good lighting. There are several restaurants downstairs, which is very convenient for eating. There is a large grocery store on the next street, which is very convenient for shopping. In the early morning, I went to the airport front desk to help call a taxi. Good experience."
The Artist Grand Hotel of Art
"Luxury hotel just opposite the Guggenheim. Our spacious room had a view of the Guggenheim and Koons' Puppy. Absolutely loved the delicious breakfasts on the terrace looking out onto the museum and the city."
Palacio Arriluce Hotel - the Leading Hotels of the World
"Wonderful hotel with a great view over the inlet and out to the Bay of Biscay. Staff were friendly. Good breakfast selection. However evening service at the bar in the evening and lack of thoroughness of cleaning suck loads of blonde hairs from the maid service on the floor, means the floor wasn’t being cleaned, let the hotel down. Bar food menu was limited and food was quite greasy and a lot of deep fried options (something with more fresh vegetables would be good). Would stay here again and would recommend this spot as Getxo is a wonderful respite from the built up aspect of Central Bilbao. Near to Neguri metro station which costs under €2.50 per person to travel (one way) to Mayua (Guggenheim) station."
Radisson Collection Hotel, Gran Via Bilbao
"Good location as it is just next to train station and metro station. Located in the shopping region. With 5 star standard. Breakfast is good. Room is clean and big."
Melia Bilbao
"A very nice hotel. For me, the best in Bilbao. It's welcoming, clean, and bright. I wouldn't recommend the breakfast; little variety and terrible service. But everything else was perfect!"
Occidental Bilbao
"The room is large and clean. Location is fine, close to a metro station. If you arrive with luggage, I’d recommend taking metro instead of bus."
Gailurretan
"Although it was last July when I stayed at Gailurretan, my experience there still remains as one of the best stays I've ever had. A little hard to share a gem when you find one, but Gailurretan and Maike deserve the highest praise. I spent 6 nights there, travelling solo. The location is beyond stunning and has to be seen to be believed. The beautiful traditional house is spotless and each room is decorated with a different theme. The pool area is surrounded by shaded trees to laze under and just gaze at the incredible view of the valley. It truly is a haven of peace and tranquility. Every guest I spoke to shared the feeling that it feels like a home from home. Maika is the most welcoming, natural and warm host who strives to make your stay at Gailurretan the best that it can be. I arrived as a guest and left as a friend. The food is fabulous and the vibe is low key. A place like this is a rare find and I look forward to my next visit!"
Basoan
"It is much more than a farm tourism; it is an absolute calm experience in a privileged environment. Ideal for a couple escape. Each corner is careful in detail. It is noted the mimo in the perfect decoration and maintenance. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable."
Mendi Alai
"We arrived through a thunderstorm. It was very late. We got a really warm welcome and we had a meal prepared for us. It is clean, comfortable and so peaceful. I would highly recommend this place. I intend to return. Woke to the sound of cowbells. It’s quite a drive up country lanes in places but keep with it and you will be rewarded. Excellent breakfast with home made bread and the meal was excellent. It also has the friendliest dog in the world. If you get a chance call. It’s only an hour from Bilbao port. Handy for the ferry. Give the dog a pat from the 7 motorcyclists from Ireland."
Silken Gran Hotel Durango
"The hotel was very well located and was beautiful, comfortable bed and full bathroom, the only peg was that the persian did not work and you wake up at 7 a.m. with the sun on your face. But I understand that it was something specific of that room, by the way excellent."
Mercure Bilbao Jardines de Albia
"The hotel gives us a room with a very small window with no construction view, but it is still acceptable. It is close to metro and city center, so the location is quite good. The breakfast is a bit disappointing and is definitely not a 4 star hotel standard. The hotel seems to be quite small surprisingly…Some hotel staff is very rude but most of them are nice."
Catalonia Gran Vía Bilbao
"Good facilities, worth staying for one night, especially food."
Hotel & Spa Etxegana
"Really nice hotel in a beautiful location. The interior is very cosy and the outdoor areas are very pleasant as well. Breakfast choice was rather limited, but all that we tried was of a very good quality. Food in the restaurant was very tasty as well. The only thing we did not like was the room we got. It was right over the entrance and with a view on the parking lot, which made it very noisy. Add to that very thin walls and you end up with not so relaxing experience. Parking at times was full and it was difficult to find a spot for a large car."
