Travelodge Bilbao Sestao ★★★
"New hotel. Just outside of Bilbao, located in Sestao."
Goien Boutique Hotel ★★★
"Facilities: Decent enough, the only downside is that the hotel doesn't have its own parking. The nearest car park is about a 1km walk away. Cleanliness: Very good! Ambiance: Very good! The room was a bit small, but that's to be expected in the old town, and it was perfectly fine for one person. Service: Very good!"
Hotel Balneario Orduña Plaza ★★★★
"This is a comfortable hotel. The staff are helpful. The rooms are modern, ours had a comfy bed and a fridge. The spa was pricey and the spa pool had to be booked 1hour for €22 each adult. I’ve stayed in spa hotels before and the pool part /sauna have been free to use for hotel guests. The breakfast was the usual buffet style and ok. They’re only 2 restaurants/bars for food open in this town and a few drinking bars. It was October so maybe more are open in the summer. The hotel does snacks at lunchtime but no evening meals."
NYX Hotel Bilbao by Leonardo Hotels ★★★★
"The location was excellent. Staff were friendly and the hotel was new and clean. Great choice for breakfast"
Hotel Puerta de Bilbao ★★★★
"Very clean facilities. The air conditioning did not work well, so the room could not be cooled properly."
Hotel Naval Sestao ★★★
"We found the Hotel to be clean and reasonably located. We booked breakfast with the room for our stay but were informed by the front desk that the breakfast facility was no longer available and put a coffee machine an a few biscuits in the reception area. We were told that they would refund the amount we paid on our booking to our account but this has not happened."
AXEL HOTEL BILBAO ONLY ADULTS ★★★★
"10/10 all facilities were amazing. Staff were polite and the breakfast was lovely."
Líbere Bilbao Ledesma ★★★
"It is a very nice apartment in the center of Bilbao, location is unbeatable and has almost anything you need for a good stay for a few days. Totally automatic check in, check out and entrance, which makes it comfortable to handle from your phone directly. Nice place to stay overall"
Ibis Budget Bilbao Arrigorriaga ★★
"A standard budget chain hotel, with all the pros and cons. It's pretty hard to stay there without a car."

Hotel Palacio Muñatones
"Stayed here for one night prior to Bilbao - Portsmouth crossing. Hotel looks really good on accommodation websites, has lots of positive reviews. It has a restaurant which is useful when arriving after a long day travelling. On arrival we were told the restaurant was not open though tapas was available in the bar. The hotel is not difficult to find using GPS and is close to the ferry port. It was difficult to get inside as all gates were closed You need to ring a bell for admittance, even at 5.10pm. What is not clear from photos or mentioned in the description is that the hotel is right next to an enormous petrol refinery. The air smells very strongly of fumes meaning you really cant open windows unless you want to fill the room with fumes. The room was airconditioned but the lowest temperature was preset to 25 degrees. Way too hot for a night time temperature for me, though it may be fine for others. Rooms in the main building may be lovely but we had a room in a wooden annex. The room was large and clean with a comfortable bed and decent linen. Toiletries were provided in the bathroom which again was large with a good shower. What was really strange was there was no door separating the bathroom from the bedroom only a flimsy shower curtain! Not great for privacy. We paid extra for breakfast which was plentiful in quantity if a little dull. As we were getting in the car to leave the owner came running after us shouting that we had not paid for breakfast. I went back inside to show the booking to explain we had infact paid. I found this really embarrassing and annoying especially as the owner did not apologise for his error instead just stomped off. Admittedly there is not an abundance of accommodation near to the ferry port but I found this place overpriced and would not stay again."
Hotel URH Palacio de Oriol
"Not being able to check in until 3 PM, arriving at the hotel at 11 AM, which was empty, and not even being given the opportunity to leave our luggage, made us lose many hours that could have been used to visit the city. Furthermore, if pets are not allowed in the room, this should be communicated, as we stated it was a cat and, obviously, we weren't going sightseeing with it. Despite this, the staff were generally friendly. The room temperature was far too high."
Hotel Boutique Bahía de Plentzia
"A very nice hotel with beautiful views, especially if you're facing the river! You can park for free in a dirt parking lot behind the hotel, but be warned, I was a bit surprised when I arrived because it was all metered parking!"
Petit Palace Tamarises
"Nice views from the balcony, great location for walks and well connected to Bilbao. Large variety of breakfast options."
The Artist Grand Hotel of Art
"Service, location and facilities are very good"
Palacio Arriluce Hotel - the Leading Hotels of the World
"This hotel is unbelievable! Incredible staff and service. The breakfast and lunch were amazing! The facilities are wonderful from the gym to the lobby to the rooms. Views are spectacular. The staff was so amazing! Can't wait to go back!"
Radisson Collection Hotel, Gran Via Bilbao
"Very satisfied, the front desk service attitude is very good!"
Melia Bilbao
"Everything was excellent. The location is central. I really liked the lobby and the waiting area."
Silken Gran Hotel Durango
"The rooms are average; those who don't mind the low cost-performance ratio can choose this option."
Occidental Bilbao
"I don’t recommend this hotel since you have to pay 20€ per person for using inside pool, 😑 and although the weather is quite warm on October more than 26C, the outside pool was closed. the room floor was damaged and has a laud sound when you walked. Hotel crews were friendly but totally it doesn’t worth to pay for this hotel. Breakfast was normal and nothing different from a 3stars hotels. Regarding location also it is not a good location to use public transportation from old town. We were not at all satisfied."
Catalonia Gran Vía Bilbao
"Excellent location, convenient for getting around, and not in a noisy area. It's a chain store, so the quality and brand are guaranteed."
Gailurretan
"Although it was last July when I stayed at Gailurretan, my experience there still remains as one of the best stays I've ever had. A little hard to share a gem when you find one, but Gailurretan and Maike deserve the highest praise. I spent 6 nights there, travelling solo. The location is beyond stunning and has to be seen to be believed. The beautiful traditional house is spotless and each room is decorated with a different theme. The pool area is surrounded by shaded trees to laze under and just gaze at the incredible view of the valley. It truly is a haven of peace and tranquility. Every guest I spoke to shared the feeling that it feels like a home from home. Maika is the most welcoming, natural and warm host who strives to make your stay at Gailurretan the best that it can be. I arrived as a guest and left as a friend. The food is fabulous and the vibe is low key. A place like this is a rare find and I look forward to my next visit!"
Mercure Bilbao Jardines de Albia
"Met a really nice front desk agent, and their English was good too. Very impressive."
Hotel & Spa Etxegana
"Really nice hotel in a beautiful location. The interior is very cosy and the outdoor areas are very pleasant as well. Breakfast choice was rather limited, but all that we tried was of a very good quality. Food in the restaurant was very tasty as well. The only thing we did not like was the room we got. It was right over the entrance and with a view on the parking lot, which made it very noisy. Add to that very thin walls and you end up with not so relaxing experience. Parking at times was full and it was difficult to find a spot for a large car."
Balneario Casa Pallotti
Hotel Miró
"Great location near by the Guggenheim museum. The design of the lobby is fancy but the room is so so.Staff’s are helpful and friendly."
