"Quite a nice budget place to stay in Katania. I liked everything, this renovated old building, is 10 minutes walk from Duomo Square, 20 minutes from the railway station. There are many interesting locations nearby: churches, museums, amphitheater. Since the building is old, there is no elevator here, and there is no better sound insulation, take into account if it is important to you. Staff is beautiful, very friendly. The room is served with breakfast, the cruisans bake the workers themselves in the morning. I think this is a great price/quality ratio! If any questions arise, the staff are quick to answer whatsapp."

GGuest UserThe hotel I booked on Ctrip is perfect and I am very satisfied with it. There is a pedestrian street right outside the door, with all kinds of exquisite shops and large supermarkets, suitable for all kinds of people. The only regret is that the bar on the top floor of the hotel is only open at night and cannot be entered at will. Even if you are a hotel customer, there is no saying that customers are God here. Consumption and money are more important.

BBubbletea FavorI spent a comfortable night in the CALCEDONIO REINA suite and it can be said to be very beautiful. The room is large, beautifully decorated and soundproofed. Great bed and endless space. The double hydrojacuzzi in the dedicated area is very beautiful with TV and air conditioning. A significant plus. Two separate bathroom partitions bring unique relaxation, huge bathroom with large shower. Suite includes breakfast.
Staff were friendly (although the desk is not open 24 hours, phone number is provided if need help). Hotel is located in the city center, opposite the beautiful garden. It is a perfect place to stay but there is no elevator that has to take the stairs, which is something to remember.

XXINThis area is relatively off-site, it is not convenient to walk from the train station, taxis or buses are better. The people staying at the hotel are quite mixed but the hotel service is attentive. The breakfast is not rich but fresh. Personally, I feel that the whole city of Catania does not have many characteristics, so it is suitable for staying during long-distance rest.

But I cannot understand why there’s never a plug beside the bed. People need to charge their phones.
The bathroom is ok but there is nothing to place the toiletries in the shower, so you’re forced to either bend over in a very small space either open the shower multiple times and make a mess.
The main issue is the breakfast. It’s the land of desolation and it’s really a pity.
The croissants and the brioches are good, but regardless of the time of your arrival it’s never refurnished.
No marmalades, 3 butters, 2 Nutellas, only one typeof cereal, no milk.
Everything is missing, it seems raided.
Why pay for an hotel breakfast if there’s less food that at home or any café?
It could happen once, not constantly.

GGuest UserThe location is very good, downstairs is the main commercial street in Catania. Eat, drink and shop. Walk to the Central Station for 10 minutes and there are many large supermarkets within 5 minutes. Walk to the core area of the main church and the seafood market for less than ten minutes. The hotel is small but clean and tidy. Hotel staff is enthusiastic. Wi-Fi signal is not good, no toothbrush, slippers. Hotel positioning is a bit problematic. But find McDonald's is there.

GGuest UserThe hotel is neat, the breakfast is really very extensive and has everything. What is strange is that you have to pay for the bottle of water from the fridge. This is poorly indicated in the hotel only at the reception. Furthermore, fine beds and friendly people.

AAnonymous UserThe location is very good, really near from the tourist attractions. It is also surrounded with restaurants and bars. The big local market is just right to the next street. The neighborhood may look odd from the beginning but it is safe. The bed is comfortable. This is a free breakfast place, but the breakfast options are the easy to go ones. The owner doesn’t speak English but can work with google translate. He also offers a shuttle service from the airport to the hotel for €20. The walls are so thin so you can hear everything outside of your bedroom. This is most likely ideal for young people as the place is in front of different bars, so, it is very loud during the evening until 1 in the night.
