Amazing
桂桂Belmond Hotel is my personal favorite hotel brand, no one! Although it is relatively small compared to other five-star hotels, it is definitely an aristocratic experience! From check-in to check-out at the front desk, the hotel really does pay attention to every detail. The Belmond Hotel Cusco is a converted monastery. The hotel also has a church, which is very characteristic. The Spanish courtyard design is elegant and elegant. The hotel breakfast is very rich. Stayed late that day and was upgraded, very satisfied. It is located next to Weapons Square and has a good location. Great experience staying in Cusco! Ctrip's price is much cheaper than booking, and it is very powerful!
GGuest UserWe had a wonderful stay at Hampton Hotel in Cusco. The staff were very friendly and hospitable, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. A special mention to Wilma, who went the extra mile to accommodate our request to change to a room with a queen bed instead of two standard beds—her helpfulness made a big difference.
The rooms are new, clean, and comfortable with fresh bedding, and the breakfast was very good. Overall, an excellent experience and I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Cusco.
Ccan’tnot in the centre of Cusco but close enough, 5-10mins to main square. we left our luggage at hotel when we went to Machu Picchu and when we got back was already waiting for us in our reserved room. decent size bed/ room, bath room but small and the fan is cold in winter as it blows directly to the shower/tun. But generally good service. breakfast was also decent, although they seemed understaffed at the restaurant
FFilipino Traveler & Entrepreneur - Beverly VegaThis hotel is indeed highly recommended for its scenic views and quite near to the Plaza Mayor de Armas. Highlight the cleanliness and spaciousness of the rooms, as well as the friendly and professional staff. The natural lighting and panoramic city and mountain views are definitely standout features! The room I got has a scenic view! Super worth the price, I’m telling you, you should get one with the scenic view if you stay here. And staff at the restaurant were so kind and accommodating.
GGuest UserThis 3* hotel is like a 5* hotel. A very nice room I stayed for 3 days and the location is excellent. It only takes about 5 minutes to walk to the main square centre. Hot shower and strong wifi and very nice breakfasts with many fresh fruits and freshly-baked bread !! Their staff helped me to make phone calls and print boarding pass for me too. I had a very pleasant stay there.
NNAOHIKO HASEGAWAThis hotel is located on the corner of Plaza de Armas and has the best location in Cusco. The room was well cleaned. The staff were all kind and friendly. On the day of our early morning departure to Machu Picchu, they gave us a lunch box for breakfast. They called a taxi to the airport and the price was fixed, so we felt at ease. And above all, the breakfast on the terrace overlooking Plaza de Armas was the best time.
GGuest UserOverall the hotel was good, service was good, laundry services excellent. 2 issues:
1) location: the front is not a street but a walking lane, so taxis and tour transportation cannot come to front door. This alleyway also has many clubs so the noise and foot traffic is all night long.
2 Breakfast was included , however if you want a second omelette they wanted you to pay for it. Free breakfast means free, any other buffet restaurant you can take as many eggs as you wish.
Overall I would stay there again,
GGuest UserHad two separate bookings with the hotel as I was going to Machu Picchu and staying overnight there. During my first day at this hotel in my first reservation, I was asked to pay for this second booking together. No receipt given but was assured that there will not be any misunderstanding. Was told to pack and leave my things at the reception and check out and re-check in. So not sure why I needed to pay for the second reservation upfront in my first booking (Maybe afraid that I would cancel it as I was really tempted to). As mentioned in my previous post, the amenities are severly lacking, cause of low water supply, the pipes and toilet filling up is very loud and the water flow from the tap is like the picture at night and it was trickling and dripping one of the early mornings when I had a tour. In short, i will not stay here again.
KK TravelsLet me start with the positives, stylish design, exactly like the pics advertised, from entering the hotel to the resting area to the balcony to the room, all very nice.
But you need to be ready for the stairs if you not getting here by car, going out and coming back from the square, especially if you have luggage or backpack, everyone arriving here were out of breath.
The bathroom has odor coming up from the pipe, which is normal for house this old, if you are okay with it.
I was in room 201, sound proof does not exist, can hear car passing, dog barking, guests coming back from partying at night, tourists cheering & leaving hotel for trips at 3:30am, didn’t get much sleep.
Most disappointing thing was hot water, I arrived in the afternoon climbing up the stairs, was hoping to have a quick shower before heading out for dinner, stood in the bathroom waited 5mins for hot water, was told be staff hot water was out they are trying to fix, came back after drinks, still no hot water, was very late so didn’t call staff, tried to have a shower before check out at 7am, hot water was still not available after another good 5mins standing in the shower… sigh
