Beach Hotels in San Sebastian

I stayed in a ”city view” room during my solo trip through the Basque region and it was such a comfortable room I forgot about not having sea view. Though I do recommend to go to the cafe to have the beachside experience if you get the city view room because it overlooks a construction site on the back street. The hotel was an easy 15min walk with my heavy suitcase from the intercity bus center, just beside the beach. The room was squeaky clean with a large bathtub, and the bed so comfortable I could not get up to go see the sunset! Also helpful kind staff and great location for getting around the city on foot or by bus. I went to the Chillida Leku museum it was 30min by bus no25. Highly recommend!

The room was reasonably clean and new, but the value wasn't great. It was just over 20 square meters, and even with a small bed, it was packed. It cost over 3,000 euros a night without breakfast, and parking was an additional 20 euros. Perhaps the price was too high when I booked it, but booking at the last minute was a bit lower. This is a popular tourist destination, but the hotel wasn't fully booked, perhaps because the value wasn't great. Across the street is Mila Restaurant, which isn't very popular, but the food is surprisingly delicious.

Located in the old town of San Sebastian, it is very convenient for sightseeing! It's in the old town, but the city of San Sebastian itself is so small that you can walk to the new town. Don't forget it, probably because it's a San Sebastian rule, you need to register your passport before staying at the hotel! If so, it is easier to contact the hotel owner and tell you the recommended shops, so it is more convenient than opening an email. It's very convenient because you can tell me how to register your passport by video chat even if you don't know how to register your passport! Is the hotel a couple-run and lives on top of the hotel? It's a little inconvenient because it's not always on the hotel floor, but I didn't have any problems with each step because I could contact you with the Wnats Up app. The cleanliness looks beautiful, but is there anything left that the previous person used? Maybe it's not well cleaned, or it falls on the bed, such as hair, or it's entangled in a futon. Other than that, the water pressure in the bath is good, and the couple at the hotel are very kind and nice and kind people, so there is no problem! !! However, unlike ordinary hotels, the apartment is only renovated, so you can hear all the sounds, voices, and snoring in the next room. If you don't mind it, it's a hotel that doesn't matter at all.

We absolutely loved our stay beautiful balcony and ocean view. Next time we will park with the hotel for discounted rate instead of using public parking which ended up costing us much more. We will go back in a heartbeat. Close to everything and right on the beach. Clarissa from Canada

The room has a slightly unusual shape, but it wasn’t an issue at all for a solo traveler. The bathroom was clean and well maintained. The location is very convenient, especially for hopping between nearby tapas bars.

The room was really great, especially the floor heating in the bathroom, very intimate and very satisfied. Very close to the beach, very convenient, do not have to take a bath with others on the beach but return to the hotel to enjoy private space, the front desk service is excellent, the champagne presented is very good.

Friendly staff, outside season they might get you in early if possible. Also, being just a few meters away from the beach is priceless. Don't skip on waking up super early to see sunrise on the beach. Breakfast is good by could improve a little bit, but isn't hotel's main service, so is understandable. I'd recommend it for someone that wants to be centric but not in the main busy area

I probably stayed in a higher Premier Room which would never come to San Sebastian. The view from the room was beautiful, but it was not easy to travel alone. Recommended for couples, but in San Sebastian I regretted that it was better to spend meals than to spend money on accommodation. There was no problem in the hotel itself, but when the front desk was crowded, it was sometimes waited for more than 5 minutes.
