The Howard Johnson hotel is incredibly close to Changsha Huanghua Airport. While they do offer shuttle service, if you don't have too much luggage, walking to the airport is perfectly fine. The hotel rooms are very spacious, easily accommodating a family of three. There are also plenty of great restaurants, snacks, and night markets nearby.

The only downside is that the rooms are carpeted, and they look incredibly dirty. Carpets are notoriously good at trapping dust, and these were indeed very dusty. Plus, the hotel's housekeeping clearly falls short, as many fixtures had visible dust on them.

A friend recommended this place, so I specifically chose it, and the location is indeed convenient. The Yaoling Xiangya Second Hospital Station on Metro Line 6 is right outside. The room was spacious and bright, the desk was large enough, and the internet speed was stable. The facilities were quite complete, and the front desk was efficient; check-out and getting the invoice were very quick. They even proactively asked if I needed water for the road. Dining nearby is also convenient, with a convenience store and a few small eateries downstairs. Overall, it was a hassle-free stay. I'll book this place again next time I'm in Changsha.

This hotel is a great choice for families traveling with children. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent; once the windows are closed, outside noise is virtually eliminated, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep for the kids. The hotel is conveniently located right at a subway entrance on the basement level, making transportation and transfers incredibly easy. They also offer shuttle service to and from the station, which saved us a lot of hassle. We were traveling with friends, and the hotel thoughtfully placed our rooms on the same floor, which was very convenient for visiting each other. The guest rooms are clean, spacious, and well-equipped. The staff are attentive and communication was smooth. This hotel is suitable for both family trips with kids and traveling with friends. Overall, we had a very positive experience and would definitely consider staying here again on our next visit.

Service: No issues at all, the staff were very warm and polite during both check-in and check-out.

Environment: There are plenty of dining options nearby, and the hotel itself feels like it's inside a large apartment complex. It's about a 30-minute drive from Orange Isle.

Cleanliness: The room is quite spacious, but the housekeeping has some major problems. The hairdryer being broken is one thing, but it was also covered in sticky residue, indicating a lack of thorough cleaning. The sewing kit was also empty when I opened it; I don't know how the last inspection passed.

Facilities: The bathtub and swimming pool are a bonus.

Additionally, I ordered takeout and a package, but they were delivered to two different locations. One said the front desk wouldn't accept it, and the other said the property management wouldn't. Having to run back and forth between building A and B was really frustrating.

The best decision I made on this trip to Changsha was choosing the terrace suite at this hotel. From check-in to check-out, the experience was absolutely fantastic. The grand lobby alone deserves a five-star rating! The room's cleanliness was impeccable, with every corner spotless, which made for a very comfortable stay.

Even more commendable was the thoughtful service from staff member Fiona! She was efficient and patient during check-in, providing meticulous and attentive service throughout.

This hotel is incredibly thoughtful. They helped us with a late check-out and even have a dedicated homework room for kids, which is fantastic for families traveling with children. It solved the problem of the room being too dim for my child to do homework or crafts. We were a bit rushed this time so we couldn't participate in the activities, but we'll definitely try to next time. A special thanks to the hotel butler; their service was excellent and they were very patient with the kids.

I was quite hesitant when booking a hotel, but I figured Howard Johnson would be a safe bet, and it certainly didn't let us down. The hotel isn't far from Dianchi Lake, and the surroundings are very pleasant and quiet. It's convenient to get around, whether by car or shared electric scooter. There are many hotels in the vicinity, including some more upscale options, but I think Howard Johnson offers pretty good value for money. Our room even came with a terrace, which was a lovely touch. The only slight downside was that some of the facilities felt a bit dated, but otherwise, everything else was great.

The hotel is very grand. The environment is very beautiful, with many flowers at the door. The breakfast is rich in variety. There are both Western and Chinese styles. There is also a parent-child park. If you book a room, you can add a guardrail for the baby. When the car drives in, a handsome guy will help with the luggage. The fruit delivered to the room is very fresh. Manager Chen also delivered milk in the evening. Knowing that the family of three specially sent three boxes of milk. The service staff will greet you warmly when you leave. Very kind. When leaving, two guys helped to deliver the luggage to the car, and another guy came over with 2 cups of hot milk and hot peach cakes and delivered them to the car. I was really moved. I love traveling and I feel very warm. I am still a little reluctant to leave. If you are still hesitating where to stay. Then Howard Johnson International Hotel in City of Flowers is your best choice.

My kids specifically asked to stay at Qingcheng Howard Johnson, and it's definitely the top choice for hot spring hotels around Chengdu. Seeing that we had kids with us, the front desk upgraded our room. The 2.4-meter bed was incredibly comfortable. The hot springs opened at 10 AM, and my kids enjoyed soaking for two days straight. The breakfast selection was also very rich; I highly recommend the beef noodles. This was a perfect 'back-to-school' trip before classes started, and we were very satisfied.

The private hot spring courtyard was excellent, and the breakfast tasted great. It's very close to Bailu Hot Spring, less than a five-minute walk from the room. Bailu Hot Spring is a pure natural sulfur spring, visibly authentic. While sulfur springs do smell like rotten eggs, don't worry, these minerals will leave your skin feeling smooth after soaking.

The outdoor courtyard has good ecological conditions, but there were many mosquitoes. I suggest adding mosquito repellent lamps. The courtyard lawn could use more maintenance, and the staff in the hot spring area, especially those in the pool area, should receive more training on service awareness.

Had a fantastic stay! I chose this hotel based on its high ratings on Trip.com, and it definitely lived up to expectations. The location is super convenient, really close to the high-speed train station with direct access to the city center, and it's just a 10-minute drive to the Panda Base. The room was spotlessly clean, and the facilities were great – they even had an emergency call button in the bathroom, which is a nice touch. The service was top-notch; the staff were all very friendly, attentive, and helpful. And the breakfast was a real highlight – a wide variety of delicious, high-quality options. All in all, I was extremely satisfied!

I stayed at the hotel for 6 nights and am happy with everything. Check-in: we arrived at the hotel at 7 am, and the girls at the reception let us check in without any fuss. Room: the room is spacious, modern and clean. Amenities: 4 bottles of water and soft drinks are provided for free, and a daily fruit and snacks. Service: all of the staff are very friendly and willing to help on any issue we have. I am especially impressed with Ms Fu, who would answer my question almost immediately if I sent her a message. Food: Their breakfast buffet is delicious and has so many options. Their banquet lunch had so many dishes that 10 of us couldn’t finish even if we love each of them

The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, allowing me to sleep soundly until morning. The front desk service was warm and attentive, and check-in was quick. The hotel's location is convenient, making it easy to find food and get around. The bathroom had plenty of hot water and the facilities were complete. It offers great value for money and is my top choice for accommodation when traveling. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time.
