YYigexihuanzhenshidianpingdeyonghuI didn't take any photos this time. First, let me talk about the facilities: I forgot to check for a bathtub, assuming there would be one. It's my own fault for not checking. The sink and shower were fine, no major problems.
Cleanliness: The walls upstairs in my room were black, but the grout lines were peeling off, making it difficult to place anything on them and leaving black residue. This wasn't a good experience.
Environment: The environment was okay, but it's located in an area full of guesthouses. I recommend renting an electric bike; riding one in the evening is incredibly relaxing.
Service: The service was impeccable, deserving a 5-star rating.
The downside: One bad thing was the swimming pool! We've taken our child to Sanya dozens of times and never had an ear infection from swimming, but here, one time we had to go home to see a doctor. The doctor said it was from swimming; something got in. Looking back, I don't know why the pool water in Beihai is salty—was it just seawater? Sanya's pools use disinfectant additives, which I suspect this one didn't.

CCharms928Had a really enjoyable stay at the hotel. The staff are very courteous and helpful. The service was absolutely impressive where free laundry service and daily afternoon tea with fresh fruits and cakes were served. They also helped to arrange free transport between the harbour and the hotel. The door gift is particularly thoughtful which contains a nice UV protective umbrella, mosquito repellant and sun block.
The room was spacious, clean and tastefully designed! Ours was the ground floor room with the garden view. Though the hotel swimming pool is right outside, the lush greenery offered great privacy. The air-conditioned and pleasantly perfumes room was literally my oasis during this short island trip! And it is quite budget friendly!:)
Absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone who’s planning to visit the island!
Overall A+ experience!
(Though it’d be a plus point if the laundry could be ironed.)

GGuest UserBefore the start of the trip to Silver Beach, I did a lot of strategies, but it was inevitable that I fell into a trap. On the first night of staying in Silver Beach, I stayed at another homestay. The restaurant I recommended to a family of four spent 1,300 yuan on seafood meals. Fortunately, I + my wish before. The fan group of Brother Zhou of the homestay, as an envoy of justice in Beihai, in order to maintain the tourist environment of Silver Beach, Brother Zhou communicated with the merchants until after 12 o’clock in the evening, and received a refund of 200 yuan for the meal in the early morning. The mood at that time was beyond words , I immediately decided to choose Wuyuan B&B to continue my stay. It was raining heavily the next day, and Brother Zhou came to pick us up. I was amazed at once. The free upgrade to the superior double room is great, very warm, and even the quilt is full of sunshine Taste, I also took us to the seafood market and had two super delicious seafood meals. The two meals added up to less than the price of the first night. Come to Beihai Silver Beach and live in Wuyuan B&B. Brother Zhou will take you to fly ! The above are all real experiences, leaving Silver Beach today for the return journey.

GGuest UserI was very curious how a property with such an affordable price has a such a high rating. I was immediately convinced by myself.
The property is perfectly located in the Southern part of the Island near Crocodile Mountain and its beautiful beach as well as South Bay with countless options of tasty seafood. The room is big, bright, clean and smells great. There is everything a traveller needs. The highlight is clearly the boss, she is very warm, welcoming and very kind. There was a book in my room which I took out of curiosity to read on the beach, and I realized it contained great messages. I asked the boss if she is willing to sell it to me but she gave it for free. She told me that she deliberately puts books with great messages for young people in the room since many students stay in her property. Wow...I wish more people in this world would be like the boss. Don't hesitate and book a room here. If I ever happen to be again on this island, I know where to stay!!

VVicky hongThe Beihai Marriott Resort is truly the top choice for a vacation at Beihai Silver Beach! The hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable; it's just a few steps from Silver Beach. The private beach area is less crowded, with fine, soft sand, making it incredibly pleasant to walk on while enjoying the sea views. The ocean-view room balconies are a treasure, perfect for watching the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening, with a 270-degree panoramic view of the blue coastline. Opening the window reveals a truly therapeutic sea view, and every photo you take looks like a stunning, atmospheric shot. The hotel facilities are new and complete, with a super-rich children's playground. The hygiene is impeccable, with rooms being neat and clean. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options. Overall, from hardware to service, everything is on point, making it perfectly suited for family trips, romantic getaways, or friends traveling together. The value for money is exceptional!

EEdmund GerardIt’s a perfect spot for visiting Beihai. You get amazing value for money. Quality room and a lot of space too , as well as a great location close to shops and railway station. Beach isn’t close but it’s easy to reach with DiDi. No issues with getting around town either. Great power shower, good a/c , bed is comfy, and the soundproofing works!
A negative is SMOKING! Even though it’s covered in no smoking signs it still happens. Rooms can fill with smell of next door smoking or some ignoramus walking along the corridor puffing away. It’s an issue for most hotels due to the high number of smokers in China, but if they enforced fines consistently then maybe it would stop more doing it. Having said that , I still use City Comfort because the POSITIVES massively outweigh that single negative.
No frills. Just delivers on quality at a value price with good staff.

(Come to a hotel location map) Also, the hair dryer in the room is Leifen, which is very useful. It is very important for girls who wash their hair, who understands it. There is also a tram rental at the entrance of the hotel, which is super convenient for renting. In addition, the hotel decoration is American retro style, but the kind of time, very beautiful, but not time.
Disadvantages: The location of the hotel is slightly biased, it is not good to come back at night, and there is no food nearby. However, if you have a companion, there is no problem, and it is not tired to ride a tram. I don't live in the net red street but avoid noisy, in short, it is recommended. If you want a holiday, you can live here.

GGuest UserVery satisfactory hotel, I also like the breakfast. I especially like the bed. The bathroom is also very clean and the disposable toothbrushes are very useful. Following the route the boss told us, we reached Silver Beach in less than 10 minutes. I sincerely recommend it. There is also a swimming pool in the hotel where you can swim in the afternoon. The boss and his wife are very welcoming. Highly recommended! Highly recommended! Highly recommended! We stayed in two rooms for three nights and had no regrets. By the way, there is a place to dry clothes on the second floor, which is very convenient. There is also a special smoking area.

TTraveling Family from GermanyHad a really mixed stay at this Hotel. Only booked one night, with the option of extending, but decided against.
My wife and I came on separated flight, with mine delayed over 5 hours. I arrived at 02:00 past midnight to check-in. First they the reception told me I’m in the wrong hotel. I had to proof my booking with them and the fact that my wife is already in the room. After some discussion they refused to check me in, but told me to call my wife to let me into the room. First, not checking in and registering a foreigner is against the law. Second, why should I wake up my sleeping wife at this late hours? After insisting on being checked in the process went fast and smoothly, which makes me wonder, why the discussions first?
Room was spacious and clean. Nice view over the ocean.
At the breakfast buffet we were greeted by hordes of waiters watching over a half empty buffet, at 09:30. Nearly no western food options and no cold cuts. After asking I was treated to a plate of two pieces of Camembert, hard cheese and some kind of milk cheese. Not the standard for a Sheraton breakfast.
That’s also my final verdict. For this price and being a Sheraton Resort, it’s not up to the standards one would expect from a place with this name.

AAnonymous UserChecked in at night, to be honest, it was not much different from my expectations, the room was very spacious and clean, to be honest, much bigger than the hotels in the city, the price is quite cost-effective. Mainly, it is very close to the coastline, and the balcony is open-air and you can sit, enjoy the sea breeze and look at the sea at night, it is very comfortable.
