The accommodation was great. It was clean and looked new. The lobby was decorated very cutely; I loved it. Inside the room, the bed was a mattress type, but it was comfortable. However, the floor heater seemed a bit too hot. The bathroom had separate wet and dry zones, which was very good.

This hotel is super conveniently located next to the Gyeongju Intercity Bus Terminal (just a few minutes' walk). You can easily walk to popular spots like Daereungwon Tomb Complex, Hwanglidan-gil Street, Cheomseongdae Observatory, and Jungang Market. There are some great local eateries nearby; just ask the front desk for their recommendations. If you exit the hotel, turn right, then take the first left, you'll find a restaurant called XX Wang XX Galbi (it has the character '왕' (Wang/King) in its sign). We passed by a few times, and it was always packed at night, so it seems popular with locals. You cook the meat yourself there. Breakfast is simple but decent, with complimentary instant noodles and eggs you can fry yourself. There's an arcade machine in the lobby with tons of games (major throwback to childhood!), definitely worth checking out. Overall, it was a good stay. The room felt quite new, and I appreciated the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom.

The room far exceeded my expectations in every respect! I loved the decor inspired by traditional Korean aesthetics. However, there was a slight issue with flooding, as water sipped through the cracks from the shower onto the wooden floor of the bathroom area even with the shower door shut. Although this did not cause much discomfort, I am concerned about the long-term effect this may have on the beautiful wooden floors! The light switch for the cupboard was genuinely hard to find; I had to call the front desk after 11 p.m. to figure out how to turn it off so I could go to sleep. Since I was on a conference trip, I spent most of my time in the room preparing my presentation, and the tables and chairs were clearly not designed with business travelers in mind. Finally, I found the pillows surprisingly flimsy and regretted not bringing my own. For casual travelers looking only to relax, however, this is a truly outstanding hotel. These are minor blemishes on an otherwise great experience, and I'm leaving these comments only in case the staff is interested in making an excellent stay even more exceptional.

The room service chicken was really delicious, and there was a sauna, so I could come back every day and relax in the sauna. The breakfast had a lot of options and the view was great, so overall it was a satisfactory hotel. I will come back again when I come to Gyeongju!

It was my second time staying here. The hostel is walking distance from places like Daereungwon. Gyeongju Golden Street is also nearby with lots of restaurants. The hostel provides an electric blanket. There are indoor shoes to use, as well as separate slippers for the shower inside the bathroom. There was shampoo and bodywash, but no conditioner. It was self check-in, with names written on a note with a keycard and instructions. Other guests were also polite. The bedding was clean, smelled normal.

The hotel was overall okay for a short stay. The room was reasonably clean and had the basic amenities needed. The staff was polite and the check-in and check-out process was straightforward. While nothing stood out in particular, everything worked as expected. It is a suitable option if you are looking for a simple and practical place to stay.

Stayed with friends on a 3D2N trip. Location was generally good, close by to main shopping area, easy to get on buses and/or to call for uber. We really loved the breakfast that was included as well as free noodles being provided (cooked in a bowl). Water, coffee and teas was provided throughout the day (pantry and a separate cafe that was right beside the main entrance). There was even washer/dryer, laundry pods to purchase from them also available however we can’t comment much because we didn’t use them. Service was a hit/miss. Was greeted enthusiastically by an older gentleman, explained everything well and was very willing to share nearby eats and things to do. However, while I tried to use delivery app (that they advertised in the room, even for international travellers), the young man was not very proactive to solve our problem (unable to input Singapore number). However overall their service I will say is still very polite. Room is generally clean. However as my legs are more sensitive to bedding’s fabrics, I could feel “things” on my legs that was in contact with the beddings. That being said, we didn’t experience any skin reaction or bites. To add on, they had self service luggage locker outside of their entrance where we stored our luggage after checking out. However, to note that there is limited number of locker so would advise to store earlier in case it’s fully used. Would definitely come back here next time!

The exterior and interior are clean. The deck interior gives it a luxurious feel, and the restaurant is also very clean and tidy. However, the 220V power outlet next to the bed was inconveniently located, buried in the floor mat and only a single port, which was problematic when two people needed to charge devices. The outlets aren't placed where they're needed. There's no elevator, and the bathroom is separate from the main room, located near the entrance. Amenities provided include coffee sachets, one glass, two toothbrushes, soap, a hairdryer, towels, an electric kettle, a long bath towel, shampoo, shower gel, and conditioner. The mini-fridge had four bottles of water, and the next day, they hung two fresh towels and two more bottles of water on the doorknob.

I arrived in the morning and called to drop off my luggage. I couldn't see the owner or staff. (I called twice: once to drop off my luggage, and once to ask about my room number when I checked in.) The phone number is on the sign at the entrance to the hanok. If you go into the lounge at the back of the building, there's a baggage storage area(?) where you can leave your luggage. I was worried I might lose it, but they said they'd never lost anything before, so I trusted them and dropped my luggage off. I was so relieved to find my luggage still there when I checked in at 3:10 PM. I had a great night's sleep in room 102. The room was warm and clean thanks to the ondol (Korean-style heated floor). The only downside was that there was no mini-fridge, and there was no Wi-Fi in the room (the common lounge does). You can use the water purifier in the lounge. Breakfast is provided, but I checked out at 9 AM because of the morning bus schedule. I had a great night's stay in a clean place. Thank you.

It's a modern, clean place. The rooms have large windows and air-con, and the pot-noodle breakfast is a nice touch. The only problem: there is never anyone at the front desk. The light in my bathroom was out, and there was no way to convey this message: no English spoken on the phone, and messages bounced back. I didn't have a problem with it, as there was enough light coming in from the room, but it's not ideal if there was a real issue
