Atmosphere & Vibe: The resort is located on a very secluded beach with almost no crowds. If you are looking for ”ultimate peace and privacy,” this is the perfect destination. The atmosphere is serene and relaxing. Note for families: Our family was actually a bit disappointed because we personally prefer a more vibrant and exciting atmosphere with more people around. However, for those who truly love silence and solitude, this place is a 10/10. Exceptional Dining: The food here is the absolute highlight! The Buffet A La Carte system is incredible. There is a massive variety of dishes to choose from—it’s never repetitive or boring. Every single dish we ordered was delicious. This is easily the best A La Carte breakfast/dining experience we’ve ever had at a resort. The Beaches (Two Sides): The resort is uniquely situated between two different beachfronts: The Front Beach: This is a curved bay with a stone breakwater. Because the water circulation isn't very high, there is some algae and the water isn't perfectly clear. There are some small rocks, but it is still swimmable. The Back Beach: A short walk from the resort. This side is beautiful! The water is crystal clear, there are gentle waves, and very few rocks. It’s the perfect spot to soak and relax in the ocean. Summary: A top-tier choice for travelers seeking a brand-new resort with high-quality food and total seclusion. If you want to escape the world, come here!

Beautiful stay! The location is great, walking distance from the beach, pharmacy, restaurants, ATM, gas station and many other things. You can rent a bike through them. The receptionist was incredibly helpful and super nice. The only issue I had in my room was the drain in the shower was very slow. I felt like I was standing in my own filth, I had to quickly shower so it doesn’t flood the rest of the bathroom which was a bit annoying. I mentioned this to them and I’m sure they’ll fix it. The water pressure was great! Overall, this was an incredible stay and would stay here again! 

The resort has just re-branded. They are developing and improving their resorts , facilities, services. There is high speed internet all area and strength signals. The most strength mobile service signals is AIS but they just equipped more for True/DTAC. The room is clean and comfortable bed. I recommend you bring your soap, shampoo … (Hotel provided but not good enough for me). There is personal beach in the front of resort. It really nice but many big stones. If you would like to swim in the sea, I suggest you swim far from the beach area.

Great place, we had a two-story house for 4 people. Everything is clean, beautiful, the staff is very friendly and polite. Breakfast is mediocre, but we did not go for food :) without breakfast it will be sad, because there are only cafes nearby (shops, of course, nicht), there are not many of them. This is a beautiful, paradise island, just right for privacy with nature. I did not like the price for the hotel per day)

Simply an excellent hotel, but keep in mind it's on an island. The hotel has 30 bungalows and 44 rooms in the building near the entrance. We called it a 'dorm' after one of the bloggers. The hotel is located on a gorgeous beach with perfect sand and crystal-clear water. The grounds are beautiful and lush with greenery. There's a swimming pool (we don't use pools). Plenty of sun loungers are available. Most guests stay for only 1-2-3 nights, so loungers free up quickly. The staff are polite and try their best. Housekeeping is weak; the bed linen wasn't changed once in 4 nights. A squashed mosquito on the wall was left to greet new guests. In fact, all the walls had mosquito marks. Breakfast is from 7 AM to 10:30 AM. No queues, items are replenished promptly, and there are always free tables. The selection is small. There are tasty pasta dishes, egg dishes, a coffee machine, and a variety of juices. The reception provides free masks and snorkels for swimming. You can also take a boat for an hour for free.

An unforgettable place. There's harmony and comfort in every square meter here, a beautiful beach, and everything is just excellent. It's a hotel you want to return to right after checking out!

Captain Hook is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for peace and quiet. The villas are nice, we stayed in a room with its own mini pool. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel can help you arrange boat rides, scooters to rent, ferry tickets, etc. Some amenities the resort offers are massages, fire shows, snorkeling, kayaking, and skiing. You should know that there is no beach in front of the resort, but it’s a quick swim/canoe to the beach across from the resort. The restaurant and bar sits right on the water and offers various western and eastern options. We would definitely recommend the fried chicken wings! It was a great holiday and we would choose this resort again when we travel to Koh Kood in the future.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We chose this hotel because we liked its location - close to Bang Bao Beach, but at an affordable price. For ease of movement around the island, the hotel staff offered us a good motorbike without any deposit. The owner of the hotel, Jay, is generally a very attentive and welcoming host, ready to help with any issue. He told us about interesting places on the island that are worth visiting, where to eat, and even where is the best place on the island to watch the sunset. At our request, Jay arranged our return transfer to Bangkok via speedboat and private comfortable car. The room we lived in was large, very bright and stylishly decorated. The bed is large, with a comfortable mattress, plenty of pillows and snow-white bed linen. The air conditioner is modern, not noisy, and quickly cooled a fairly large room. From the room there is access to a small terrace with a tea table and a view of the garden, there is a clothes dryer. The room has a modern TV with smart TV function and Internet access. The bathroom is spacious, the instantaneous water heater worked well, and there are personal hygiene items. Beach towels and a mat are provided for guests to relax on the beach. Upon check-in, guests will receive a compliment from the hotel. We had a great time at the hotel and would love to come back again, Thanks Jay 🙏

We stayed for a week in February in a beachfront bungalow with air conditioning. We absolutely loved it. 1. Gorgeous beach and surrounding nature. 2. The room has everything you need, and everything works. 3. Breakfasts are abundant and varied. Fruits, fish, pastries, steamed food, soup, etc. Both adults and children will be satisfied. 4. The staff are friendly and always ready to help. 5. We had massages twice. Highly recommend. 6. The sea is wonderful. There's a reef with fish to the right. 7. There's a shop, restaurants, and bars nearby. You can walk to neighboring beaches. 8. Excellent location. Quiet place. In the middle of the island. We rode a scooter to waterfalls and remote beaches.

I truly appreciated the warm, service-minded attitude of the team—especially the Front Office staff and Khun Alex, who were absolutely outstanding. The complimentary bead bracelet given at check-in was such a charming and thoughtful touch—I loved it! In-room amenities were carefully curated and genuinely impressive. The large woven tote bag, plush slippers, and soft bathrobes made the stay feel extra comfortable, while the coffee machine added a luxurious touch that far exceeded expectations for this price point. Although the property shows signs of age, I believe a renovation or a few thoughtful updates would significantly elevate the overall guest experience.
