"Although the hotel is located at the very end of Sai Kaew Beach, it's a 15-minute walk to the pier and a 5-minute walk along the beach to a 7/11. So you don't feel far away from everything.
The staff is very friendly and always responded quickly to requests.
We stayed in early September and had a buffet breakfast. Not a huge selection, but you definitely won't go hungry. Breakfast is served on the veranda overlooking the sea.
The hotel has its own grounds, which the staff keeps clean, and the beach near the hotel was illuminated in the evenings.
We were very pleased with our stay."

"Stopped for 4 nights in the Deluxe Bungalow. The house is spacious, comfortable. From the downside only an uncomfortable door in the bathroom (requests the stopper installation).
The territory is just chic!!! Green, dressed, blooming. There is a swing on each terrace. Just +100500 for it, I liked lunch, rest and make content, swinging on it))
Every day they bring water. Towels change 1r at 3 days. I couldn't deal with TV, but I wasn't critical, so I didn't ask. There was not enough teapot and fan in the room (but also didn't ask, maybe on request would be provided)."

Great
AAnonymous UserNewly renovated rooms; comfortable & cleaned. Beautiful private peaceful beach. All the hotel staff that we had contacted did excellent jobs. Enjoyed live music & a fire show in the evening. We gave 200 THB to the fire show men. Frankly speaking, their fire show skills are much better than Hawaii. (Except, no hip dance) It would be nice if the other hotel guests would have given them some tips, too. Everything was good, except the music at the restaurant by the beach was a bit too loud. I will return to stay at this hotel again if I go to Samed next time.

SSergeiLA hotel for an unpretentious traveler. Cleaning is mediocre, there is a permanent puddle in the bathroom after using the shower. There is a swamp nearby, from which mosquitoes fly, so take a fumigator and plates. Breakfast is a choice of eggs, toast, salad, sausages, ham in a combination of 8 sets + coffee or tea. The air conditioner is not very noisy, but blows on the beds and this cannot be changed in any way. Upon check-in, they take a deposit of 500 baht. Wi-Fi works great, as does the water heater. There is a fur coat in the refrigerator, it has probably never been defrosted. In the closet on the top shelf there is a 2 mm layer of dust, so do not put anything there. A flying insect would probably shoot itself :) In general, you can come for 3-4 days, but the price is too high in my opinion.

GGuest UserTraveling to Thailand during the low season is honestly not worth it due to the constant rain. The cleanliness of the beach left much to be desired, and the hotel breakfast was quite poor.
We often felt like we were bothering the staff rather than being welcomed. They weren’t attentive to whether guests needed anything or lacked something.
We even visited a local clinic, and they wanted to charge us 2,200 THB just for calling a doctor and speaking over the phone.
It also felt like the only thing that really mattered to the staff was the tip you might leave.
All in all, we don’t think we’ll be coming back.

OOlgaGaBeautiful well-groomed area, beautiful beach, live music and fire show in the evening in the restaurant. Calm and relaxed atmosphere. There are a lot of fish near the shore. Although the rooms are not new, they are spacious and have plenty of storage space. The daughter is delighted with the canopy on the bed. I think we'll come back here again.

GGuest UserI was very impressed with this hotel. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. It's a quiet and peaceful place, truly perfect for relaxation. I'll definitely be back to stay again if I get the chance.
NNarichThe room was spotless and beautifully decorated. The location was convenient, and the breakfast was outstanding. Upon check-in, we encountered an issue with the door lock, but the hotel promptly arranged a room change. The front desk staff handled the situation with great efficiency and professionalism. Overall, it was a wonderful stay.

GGoing Back To My Roots### Review of Samed Grandview Resort
We recently stayed at Samed Grandview Resort and had a wonderful experience overall. The resort's location is stunning, with beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere that made our stay enjoyable. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring all our needs were met.
However, we felt that the beach entertainment could use some improvement. While the idea of music on the beach is great, the selection and execution were somewhat lacking, making it a bit boring at times. As professionals in the entertainment industry, we believe there are ways to enhance the experience for guests, such as incorporating a more diverse music selection or live performances.
We truly enjoyed our time here and would love to see the entertainment aspect elevated for an even better guest experience. Thank you for considering our feedback! 🙏🏻

GGuest UserOur Favorite Island Escape!
This was our fifth stay at Vangduen Hotel, and we already can’t wait to come back! It’s the kind of place that never disappoints. In fact, the only sad part is packing up to leave.
The location is perfect—tucked away on the quiet side of the island, offering so much peace and natural beauty. The clear, calm water and the soft white sand (honestly, it feels like flour!) make it the perfect spot to relax. Even though it’s peaceful, there’s still plenty to do. There’s a great selection of restaurants, a small shop for anything you might need, and a fun fire show in the evenings.
The hotel itself is spotless, well-equipped, and super comfortable. The staff are amazing—so friendly and always happy to help with anything you need. It’s those little things that make each stay so special.
We’d recommend this place 100%. In fact, we’ve already booked our next trip in two weeks! Vangduen Hotel really is a gem, and we feel lucky to have found it.
GGuest UserAn ideal option for those seeking privacy and the highest level of service!
I'd like to tell you about my recent stay at this hotel. If you're looking for a place to escape the noise of the city and completely recharge, this is the place for you.
What I remember most:
🌟 Crystal cleanliness – the rooms are cleaned every day, and the entire hotel is immaculately tidy. The bed linens and towels are always fresh, and a light scent of freshness permeates the air.
🌟 Attentiveness without being intrusive – the staff is always available if you need help, but without being distracting. It's clear they value every guest and strive to create the most comfortable environment for them.
🌟 An oasis of tranquility – the grounds are designed so everyone can enjoy peace and quiet. No intrusive animation or loud entertainment – just the sound of birdsong and the wind in the leaves.
The only thing to keep in mind is that the prices here are really high. Dining out, spa services, and other extras will require a significant investment. But if you're willing to pay for impeccable quality and comfort, it's worth it.
Overall, it's a wonderful place to recharge and rejuvenate. We returned home feeling refreshed and full of positive emotions! I recommend it to anyone who wants a luxurious vacation without unnecessary restrictions.
GGuest UserNice resort on a fine beach, it's well designed with majority of the rooms facing the swimming pool
The only downside may be it is not connected to the drop off point, and there isn't much choice for the breakfast
