"Huge thanks to the hotel for their thoughtful arrangements! I requested towel animals in my booking notes, and they delivered beautifully. The room was spacious and modern. We stayed on the ground floor, so we had direct access to the pool right outside our door. The hotel's location is absolutely perfect – step out and you're right on the beach, surrounded by lovely restaurants and charming cafes. Honestly, Sai Kaew feels like the best-located hotel on Koh Samet. The service was excellent too; everyone was so friendly."

"Stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. You can snorkel directly in front of the hotel, and there are more fish near the coral reefs, but I wouldn't recommend going there if the waves are big. It's best to wear long pants and diving socks to avoid scratches. The sand right outside is very fine and soft. Breakfast is served by the sea with ocean views. The bar street can get a bit noisy at night, so it might not be suitable for light sleepers, but since we usually go to bed late, it didn't bother us. A major plus is that the bedsheets are changed for every new guest. The room has many windows, making it bright and airy. The only downsides are that the shower only has a handheld showerhead and the water pressure is a bit low. For shopping, try to go to the 7-Eleven on the main street, as the supermarket here is about a third more expensive. Overall, it offers great value for money and is perfect for a relaxing holiday."

"Perfect location right on the beach. The beachfront restaurant is very good and caters to a variety of tastes. The rooms are decent. The hotel is more geared toward younger guests, who visit in large numbers, but it can also be a good choice for families who do not mind the lively atmosphere."

"I had an amazing stay at Kira Baya on Koh Samet and would definitely recommend it overall. Ace and the rest of the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The rooms were exceptionally clean, very well maintained, and we felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. Both breakfast and dinner were enjoyable, with good variety and quality. We also really appreciated having access to the kayak, which added a fun touch to the experience. One thing to note, as others have mentioned, is that the beach in front of the property is quite stoney and could benefit from some cleaning. Additionally, the hotel is located at the far end of the island, so getting around requires some planning. There is a shuttle service available, but it is not included in the stay and not directly provided by the hotel, which is something other hotels tend to handle better. That said, I was able to rent a scooter for 100 THB per hour, which gave me a great opportunity to explore the island independently. Overall, despite a few minor inconveniences, this was a fantastic stay with excellent service, and I would happily return"

"Nestled on Koh Samet, an island with very basic amenities, Paradee truly stands out. It boasts its own secluded beach, far from the main street (a one-way taxi ride to the main street costs 450 baht and takes about 25 minutes). With stunning beachfront views and fine white sand, it's the perfect escape for a peaceful vacation after a busy period. The rooms have a very Thai-style decor; while not new or ultra-modern, the cleanliness and attention to detail are quite good. Breakfast is a buffet combined with à la carte options – though not extensive, the food is delicious! There's complimentary afternoon tea daily, with drinks and small snacks served per person. The hotel restaurant's food is excellent; the seafood fried rice, burgers, and banana pancakes we ordered were all very tasty! The staff here are incredibly professional! Every employee greets you with a friendly smile, and they're especially kind to children. The private pier transfer adds to the overall emotional value. I highly recommend that every visitor to Koh Samet dedicate two or three days to unwind and relax at Paradee."

"We stayed from April 15-17 in a family room on the first floor. There were three of us, and I can't imagine how four people could fit in there—the room is tiny. There's one armchair right outside the room, and that area is also very cramped, with people constantly walking by. There's no restaurant, only drinks available. The sun loungers are quickly packed away in the evening. There's a lot of hustle and bustle nearby; if you're looking for relaxation, this isn't the place for you. Honestly, for this price, you can find a much better hotel on this island. The hotel is definitely in need of renovation. The staff, however, were lovely ❤️"

"We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The entire property was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The service was excellent, and the staff were always friendly, helpful, and professional. The hotel offers everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. The pool was very clean, and the sea was crystal clear and beautiful. A special thanks goes to the housekeeping team, who did an outstanding job every day and kept everything spotless. The only downside is that the hotel is located quite far from the city center. In addition, the prices for food and drinks are higher than in other areas. However, the food is of excellent quality and tastes delicious, making it worth the extra cost. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again."

"The hotel is beautiful, we got the beach front pool villa which was everything we wanted. Rooms also have coffee machine which is nice to have before breakfast watching the sun rise. The location is 2km from the main town so if you’re after a relaxed resort style holiday this is it. We saw so many animals around. Breakfast was nice, the Thai food for lunch and dinner was lovely. They have a fire show on Saturday nights which was fabulous. They do have sea urchins so even though the sand is beautiful I would take water shoes for swimming just as precaution. Mosquitos do come out at dusk so pack some spray. It was my mother’s birthday and the hotel set up a birthday sign and some pancakes with chocolate brownie and candles. Over all our stay was excellent and we would stay again."

"The hotel's overall environment is great, perfect for a vacation, and the room privacy is excellent, very comfortable. The drinks at the restaurant are also delicious, and you can see many giant clams and fish on the beach right outside. The only downside is that the chlorine in the swimming pool is too strong! My child's body, inner thighs, and neck all broke out in rashes. My child swims frequently, and we've never encountered this at previous hotels. Even my friend developed scattered red rashes after swimming for just half an hour."

"1. The room is large. It has all the necessary furniture for working on vacation (crucial for me), and places to put books and tablets. 2. It's clean and cozy. There are many windows, but even though the bungalow is small, it's still a bit dark. The windows are opaque from the outside, so no one can see you when the curtains are open. 3. The air conditioner is quite quiet. The outdoor unit is located right behind the closet, so you don't hear any humming when it's running. 4. The bathroom is huge and bright. All amenities are provided, even a rubber mat to prevent accidental slips. The drain works well, there are two showers, and a separate faucet just for washing your feet – everything is very well thought out. 5. There's a safe, bathrobes, flip-flops (!), and, of course, towels. The bed is large. We arrived with my daughter, but there were no bungalows with two beds. They apologized and gave us two blankets. This is luxury-class care, thank you! 6. Sea view. The sea is just two steps down a path. New, good sun loungers, umbrellas, and a wonderfully equipped beach. 7. Light and pleasant music plays all day. This might be a problem for some, so be aware, but we didn't mind it. There was no music on Sunday. At the beach bar, the music stops strictly at 11 PM, but you can hear the neighboring bay's music – I'd go crazy if I lived there. In bungalows further from the restaurant, you can't hear any music at all. The property has bungalows with sea views, cottages, rooms, and beachfront suites – accommodation for every taste and budget. The grounds are very picturesque and well-maintained. You can take a taxi to the pier for 250 baht. 8. The breakfasts are amazing. We haven't encountered hotels with such breakfasts in a long time. Every day there were 2-3 types of meat, fish, potatoes, pasta, soups, rice, a ton of sweets, even sweet rice. And cheese (!). There was Camembert, Brie, and some hard cheeses. Ham/sausages/omelets/eggs, of course. A coffee machine, tea, juices, fruits. In short, during our 5-day stay, we only went to a restaurant for dinner once :) We were full all day! 9. Check the tide map. If low tide starts in the morning, it can be a significant issue. The bay is small, and at low tide, the water recedes so much that swimming is a problem. When there's plenty of water, everything is great, and there's even a small reef where you can wander and look at fish. 10. Summary: The hotel is excellent, with guest care at every turn.
