When staying at Samed Amoris Resort & Pool Villa, you'll be perfectly positioned to explore all that Koh Samet has to offer. During your stay, treat yourself with a visit to the on-site sunbathing area. The property's front desk offers service in 2 languages, including English. For extra convenience free luggage storage are available at the property as well. Parking is available at the property.

"This newly opened hotel is, in my opinion, one of the best on Koh Samet. Most places on the island are typically guesthouses, regardless of their star rating, but this one actually feels like a proper hotel. The towels are very thick, amenities are provided, and there's even a laundry bag. The toilet is Kohler, the TV is TCL, and the room is spacious and, surprisingly, very clean. The only minor downsides might be the slightly low water pressure and the somewhat noisy air conditioning, but these are small issues in an otherwise great stay. It has its own quiet beach, and I'm very satisfied with everything. It's been a long time since I've stayed in a hotel I've been this happy with. Of course, I'm comparing it to the older, often overpriced guesthouses on the island – this hotel is an absolute gem! The staff are all friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast is a buffet, which is quite extensive for a hotel of this size. If it's priced at 600-700 baht, it's an incredibly good deal for this island!"

At Stellars Samed Resort, enjoy a satisfying meal at the restaurant. A complimentary buffet breakfast is served daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. "The location is pretty good, just a 5-minute walk to Saikaew Beach. The hotel bar and pool are beautiful. This time, I stayed on the third floor, but there was no elevator, or at least I wasn't aware of one because the staff told me to just take the stairs from this side. If you're traveling with elderly people who have knee problems, climbing the stairs might be difficult. Inside the room, the air conditioning wasn't very cool; it only blew air. The hairdryer was broken, but when I informed the staff, they immediately brought a brand-new one, which I really appreciated! The towels had a slight odor, and the bathroom also had a stale smell. I wish they had some kind of air freshener or essential oil to make the room smell nicer and feel fresher. The bathroom only provides shampoo and shower gel; there's no toothbrush or toothpaste. Perhaps you have to ask the staff for them, but usually, at other hotels I've stayed at, these items are provided without asking. Breakfast is served until 10 AM. Personally, the food wasn't anything to rave about, but the staff were lovely and welcoming."

Amazing
GGuest UserThe hotel has a unique location with access to both sides of the island. You can enjoy the sunset and sunrise everyday. The beach is clean and the sea water is crystal clear. The staff service is outstanding, they took care of all details to make our stay unforgettable. We visited so many resorts in Thailand and I can say this is the best of the country. This resort is known as the sixth heaven I can confirm it is.

GGuest UserIf you're coming to Koh Samet, this is the place to stay! Right outside the hotel is a great snorkeling spot. If you have fins and swim a bit further out, you'll see even more fish. Even if you don't snorkel, just tossing bread crumbs by the shore attracts a whole bunch of little fish, so it's fun for all ages. Plus, the fact that it's not crowded is a huge bonus.

GGuest UserThe taxi from the pier cost 250 baht. The beach right in front of the hotel is fantastic, and the male attendant who manages the towels was really good – he's the reason I gave the last 100 baht as a tip. His enthusiasm also led us to book a night squid fishing trip for 9 people. However, all the staff here seem to have two different attitudes: one for Western guests and another for Chinese guests. While everyone else managed basic politeness, the female server in the restaurant (pictured in photo 2) was incredibly rude to us. This is my fifth time vacationing in Thailand, and I've also traveled to the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Mauritius, the Maldives, and Hamilton Island, but this is honestly the first time I've encountered a staff member so rude. She pointed her finger at me and loudly demanded that I push the water bottle from the middle of the table to against the wall. I was completely stunned. Upon check-in, they asked for 500 baht per night for an extra bed for our 6-year-old. Since the three of us could comfortably share the king-sized bed, we declined and only paid for the child's breakfast, which was 200 baht per day. One evening, we also encountered teenagers on the beach who were indiscriminately bullying kids playing there. I never even saw something like this in Australia, yet it happened on Koh Samet. Thankfully, my English speaking skills are decent, and after a big argument, he ended up yelling that he was going to call the police. Overall, I still wouldn't recommend booking a hotel here. The pricing attracts a certain type of clientele, and since there are many very cheap hotels nearby, the beach attracts all sorts of tourists.

YYKT MikhailGreat location, a small cozy hotel with friendly staff and a delicious breakfast; the soup was particularly enjoyable. They also offer free bicycles and stand-up paddleboards (SUPs). Direct access to two beaches is a huge plus. Even though it was off-season, we were pleasantly surprised by the weather. The sea was a bit wavy, but still swimmable. The beaches were clean, and the white sand crunched delightfully underfoot. You can even get a massage right on the beach. Act, the front desk manager, was incredibly welcoming and friendly, always ready to assist, and even saw us off to our taxi. I wish the hotel continued success. P.S. My only suggestion would be to refresh the beach towels.

GGuest UserDespite paying a considerable amount, I was assigned a windowless room. My attempts via Ctrip to resolve this with the hotel were unsuccessful, partly because Ctrip's own room descriptions were unclear. Ctrip did, however, refund me 140 for the price difference. The shower pressure was extremely low, and the bathroom mirror was badly cracked, almost to the point of shattering. When I reported the issues, a staff member just took a brief look and walked away without offering any solution. On the positive side, the hotel is close to the sea and quiet, offering opportunities for free snorkeling. Having breakfast with a stunning sea view was also very enjoyable.

AAnonymous UserWe booked a two-bedroom bungalow for a family of two adults and two children. It's very comfortable, cleaned daily, and has good breakfasts. The sea and private beach are pristine. We stayed there for four nights and then headed to Pattaya. Samet and the Cliff Resort are definitely much better. But not for those looking for a party. If you're looking for relaxation, clean sea, and peace, it's fine. If you're looking for clubs and nightlife, it's not.

GGuest UserLocation is amazing! Beach is beautiful! Room is quite old and pool view room has no privacy at all. Bathroom was not so fresh. Selection of food for breakfast is suitable for 3 star hotel. Restraint is very tasty food! Recommend to have a lunch. Found hotel Manager is not very friendly. Stuff is okay, but won’t say that very welcoming people.

AAnonymous UserI stayed in room A104, on the lowest floor with direct pool access. Unfortunately, the headboard was right against the stairs, and the constant noise and vibrations from people going up and down were really disruptive. I ended up waking up early and going to bed late every day because of the stair noise.

GGuest UserHygiene: Hygiene is OK, clean even if it is clean Facilities: There are no facilities, just an ordinary homestay, there is a small swimming pool, the water pressure in the bath is not high, and the shower is not very comfortable. Service: Not able to communicate in English, use translation software It is fake to say that it is close to Diamond Beach, and it takes 15 minutes to walk to the beach. The point is here: if you want to stay for two nights, it is recommended that you book two separate orders to book. On the first day, you can find a better hotel and at least one order can be refunded. If you book directly for two days, you can actually stay for one day, then the hotel is 200% and refuses to refund the money. There are actually many hotels to choose from.
