I was never supplied (either by email or by text) with the code to get through the the front door and to then access my room. That's bizarre.
There was no small complimentary tube of toothpaste.
The AirCo was set to ”Eco”: which meant that it cycled on-and-on and off thoughout the night with a loud rumbling each time. The AirCo is supposed to be ”white noise” in the background - runnnig constantly in the background.
The breakfast was amateurish.
QQingongFully equipped, free swimming pool, free barbecue area, coffee machine dishwasher microwave oven in the room, ice machine in the corridor, and a paid laundry dryer on the first floor. Breakfast is also available. There is a supermarket within walking distance, 15 minutes drive from Changmu Garden, good location and safe area.
GGuest UserThe last time I was there, the breakfast was much better, and that’s why we returned, and chose deal with breakfast. This time, there were no omelets, fake scrambled eggs, poor hash browns, poor choice of breads, had to search for utensils.
海海琴2002Stayed at many hotels, this hotel makes me feel good. The room was clean and tidy, and the quality of breakfast was good. Parking is free and is close to Swarthmore College, 10 minutes by car. The hotel is in the small town of Media. There are a lot of shopping malls and supermarkets around, and life is convenient. The lobby bar is quiet. Hot water, coffee, tea bags, cocoa powder, etc. are provided throughout the day. The business center has computers for guests to use for free. There will be cookies at the front desk in the evening, and fruits in the lobby bar. You can just sit there and read a book or watch TV. I think it's more intentional than Hampton's management elsewhere.
VVICKYXING1976Nice hotel, clean, tidy, and warm front desk service.
But there are very few airport buses. After getting off the plane, I called the hotel to make an appointment for the airport bus. No one answered how to call.
JJiaGood location, quiet place, very clean reasonable price. All the contact information sent through emails. The codes will expired exactly after check out time.
GGuest UserFor us the location was great! The rooms were clean and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Service, for the most part, was very good, with the only exception being the gentleman who manned the front desk on arrival. Not friendly at all. It felt like we were an interruption. Breakfast was your standard fair. Scrambled, powdered eggs and sausage or bacon, and make your own waffles. Coffee, juice choices, bagels, and packaged sweets. It was good and it does make for a fast and convenient meal.
The WIFI on our floor was horrible! In this day in age, this is unacceptable! I ended up using the computer by the breakfast area to set up our outgoing flight!
The building is becoming dated but, there was construction going on so perhaps they are updating. The bathroom did not have a fan or any towel racks. Unfortunately, it appears that people have been using the shower curtain rod as it is tilted downward and you really need to make adjustments to avoid a wet floor. There are no handles for the physically impaired. Getting in and out of this slippery bathtub is difficult. Our toilet tank had a leak and frequently had to reload water. Finally, the HVAV is good and it is also loud. But if you have traveled a lot, this is fairly common.
An extra note. We decided that we really didn't need a rental and would use Lyft/Uber. It worked well but there is rarely a car nearby. We made sure we allowed time to get picked.
Because of its location and that it was typical of a hotel of this ranking, I would stay there again.
