Dongluyuan Hotel had been on my wishlist for a long time, and this time I finally visited the Taihang Mountains with my friends and stayed at this beautifully designed hotel. The hotel's design clearly demonstrates the designer's fusion of humanity and nature, South and North, East and West. Nestled at the foot of the Taihang Mountains, it incorporates the mountain scenery into its landscape; the ubiquitous slate is a testament to its rural roots; pavilions and flowing water cleverly blend with the southern garden style; the Western restaurant combines with the courtyard's orchard, rockery, and earthen kiln, adding a touch of European style. With such a beautiful view, I initially thought the food would be mediocre, but Dongluyuan's dining truly impressed us. Local ingredients combined with the chef's fusion cuisine skills resulted in two days of trying various dishes on the menu, all of which were delightful surprises! The Chinese restaurant was particularly outstanding! The Western restaurant also had a wonderful atmosphere; the kiln-baked pizza oven was perfectly heated, and the pizza crust was perfectly fermented—better than many chain restaurants! The service was impeccable, with attentive butler service. All our needs were met quickly, and the gentle attitude made us feel very comfortable. The room offers stunning views of the Taihang Mountains and Taihang Pavilion. If I had to make a suggestion, I'd appreciate a separate shower and toilet area in the bathroom, a humidifier for winter, and a chair and small table on the balcony – such a beautiful view would be perfect for two people to enjoy tea together. I went to Taihang Grand Canyon for a day during the day, came back to sleep well, and was not tired the next day. The hotel also has a light and leisure area. It is much more comfortable to take a walk and sit before going to bed than to brush your phone in the room. The service is also very meticulous. When I checked in, I specifically asked about the room requirements, and I also arranged a quiet room type by the park. The turndown service was also very intimate. Those who have high sleep requirements and want to conveniently visit attractions, I really recommend this one.

The room is big enough, the value is not praised on holidays, in the center of Linzhou City, it is more convenient, there are two 1.8-meter bed rooms, very friendly to the family with a larger second child. The facilities are the standard of the hotel. The bath water is not too hot. Maybe it is due to the Spring Festival. The room has air conditioning and no heating. If the weather is cold, the air conditioner will be a little dry. Others are quite good.
