First of all, the service was very warm and thoughtful. It was late and rainy on the day we arrived. They recommended several local specialty restaurants, which were indeed delicious. They also drove us back to the B&B.
Secondly, I booked a double terrace. The room was spacious and warm. The terrace allowed you to see the grass and lambs in the yard (cute brown curly hair). The toiletries were of very good quality and disposable. The whole room was clean and tidy. The only small suggestion was that the arched doorway of the shower toilet should face the door of the room, or make a shower room with frosted glass or something? It would be more private.
Finally, the breakfast and drinks at the B&B were very rich, hahahaha, they were all my favorites, and there were free refreshments during the day. Unfortunately, I was in a hurry and didn't have time to experience the cultural and creative products. When I left, the lady also gave me a souvenir. The lavender sachet smelled good and the dried fruits were also appetizing.

Guest UserThe guesthouse itself boasts beautiful scenery; sitting at the entrance and daydreaming was very relaxing. The staff were all very warm and friendly, providing a hearty and delicious breakfast, and they even cut us cantaloupe and watermelon. The rooms weren't large, but they had everything we needed, and the cleanliness was quite good. Mountain accommodations certainly can't compare to those in the city, but for the price, it's excellent. The traditional wooden cabins weren't very soundproof, but with the heating on, it was very cozy, and I slept soundly after a long day. Qiongkushitai is definitely worth a visit!

tkillThe breakfast was very basic, and the rooms had many poorly designed features. For example, all the shower buttons were crammed onto one small button with tiny lettering that was practically invisible to the elderly. The hotel itself wasn't large, with only four or five rooms. However, the location was too remote; it was too far to get to the night market. Even the electric scooter rental drop-off point required walking several intersections. I recommend finding a place closer to the city center in Tekes.

HuazhuxiaoshenniniIf Tekes Bagua City hides the most poetic retreat in the Western Regions, it must be ”Xichu Guli Homestay.” It's more than just a place to stay; it blends the winds of the Ili River Valley, the memories of Kazakh yurts, and the romance of the ancient Silk Road into its courtyards and windows. The homestay boasts a prime location right by the roadside. The rooms are spacious, and the owner even upgraded us for free. Pushing open the wooden door reveals a courtyard bursting with flowers, hand-carved wooden pillars entwined with grapevines, and Kazakh embroidery patterns on the brick walls—grassland totems meticulously embroidered by artisans. There's no excessive decoration, yet every detail reveals thoughtful touches—an old wooden table restored by a carpenter, a wool felt mat handmade by a herdsman, and Ili pottery displayed on the windowsill—each piece carries the warmth of ”home,” making you feel like you've stepped into the home of an old friend from the Western Regions. The guest rooms strike a perfect balance between comfort and charm. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame panoramic views of the Bagua City streetscape or distant green mountains, while the bedding is made of soft cotton and linen with simple ethnic geometric patterns. The bathroom features a thermostatic shower, and even the toiletries are local herbal brands. In the morning, sunlight filters through the sheer curtains onto the floor, and birdsong fills the courtyard. For a moment, you forget you're in a guesthouse, or perhaps in a dreamlike Western Region. The guesthouse is pet-friendly, but the only drawback is the lack of its own parking lot; you have to park on the street. However, I would definitely choose this place again next time I visit Bagua City.

Guest UserWhat a hidden gem of a hotel! We arrived at 11 PM and called ahead to order dinner from the hotel restaurant. The lamb hotpot was absolutely incredible – seriously, so, so good.
The service was outstanding and so welcoming. The staff helped with all our luggage; even if I walked past with just a backpack, someone would immediately offer to carry it. The coffee at breakfast was also the best I'd had in all my days in Xinjiang.
Beyond the beautiful environment, the hotel also offers horse riding (for a fee) and archery (free). We stayed at the hotel until well after noon before checking out, which was incredibly relaxing.
We initially thought it would be a two-hour drive to Kokesu, but a staff member told us about an entrance that was only a 20-minute drive away. That was a huge help, truly.
All in all, everything was perfect. We didn't get to see the stars because it rained that night, but we had no regrets at all because this hotel is just phenomenal. Oh, and the hotel also has fast charging stations for electric cars!

This homestay really exceeded expectations! The location is very good to find, and it is convenient to eat and buy things around. The small courtyard and the room are particularly comfortable and clean, and it is relaxing to look at. The lighting is good, and the air is particularly fresh when the window is opened. Toiletries are basically disposable, the quality is super good, the comfort is used, the bedding is comfortable, and the night sleeps super fragrant.
The front desk brother is super enthusiastic! As soon as we arrived at the door, we took the initiative to help us lift the suitcase to the door, very intimate! If you have any questions, ask him to answer them patiently. The little brother is not only enthusiastic, but also a ”live map”! Ask him what delicious and fun places are nearby, and the recommended places are particularly authentic. Follow the food and play without stepping on thunder, worry-free!
The most pleasant surprise is that there are cute puppies in the store (called Wangcai ~)! Super cute and cute, quiet, just let the puppies! There are also apricots to pick!
In short, the experience from check-in to departure is particularly good, as comfortable and comfortable as living in a friend's house. Next time I come here to play, I will definitely choose here! highly recommended!

We are newcomers to Northern Xinjiang for the first time. I originally booked this B&B because I was going to Kalajun Grassland (top 3 scenery in Ili). Unexpectedly, I accidentally bumped into Qiongkush Terrace, which ranks top 2 in Ili scenery.
This B&B is on the top of a mountain. It has an excellent location. The scenery outside the window is so beautiful. Please see the accompanying picture, no photoshop. You are very close to the stars at night, and you can watch the sun rise from Tianshan Mountain in the morning! And there is also this so-called internet celebrity swing (we didn’t know about it until we arrived). It is estimated that many people go to the swing in the back mountain because of a few big Vs, but the real thing is here! The house is clean and warm. The boss is very enthusiastic and down-to-earth. To get here, you need to walk a mountainous road with many twists and turns. Remember to fill up your tank before going up the mountain. This is what the boss told us. So we arrived very late, and the boss was waiting all the time and cooked delicious food for us!
The biggest surprise was going to the Wusun Ancient Trail! ! We gave up on Karajun directly. The rainforest on the Wusun Ancient Trail is simply an instant kill for Kalajun. No tickets yet. It is recommended to enter on horseback, but you can of course go on foot. If you are riding a horse, it is recommended to find a local kid friend. They will not only tell you a lot of local life stories. They also take various photos for you, which is of great emotional value!

The facilities were surprisingly good! Before heading up the mountain, I looked at many hotels, most of which were slightly upscale and cost over 2,000 yuan. I was a bit hesitant to choose this one because of its low ratings and price, especially considering it had a bathtub and shower. Upon arrival, I was surprised to find a large courtyard with parking, a rare find in the mountains. There were also lambs in the courtyard, perfect for taking photos and petting! The cats and dogs were also adorable!
Chatting with the owner, I learned it was a newly opened hotel and hadn't been busy advertising, hence its relative obscurity. The bedding was incredibly soft and clean, making me feel very comfortable. The room wasn't very well ventilated; perhaps the downside of large windows is that they can't be opened directly. However, the owner suggested we open the door for ventilation, which was nice. Sitting on the platform under the corridor, drinking tea and chatting, was truly blissful… As for food, there was a Han Chinese restaurant right outside. We ate there the first night, and the next morning we ate with the restaurant owner, realizing how silly we were the first time! The meal with the owner was both inexpensive and delicious! (However, the owner mentioned that they don't usually take people to share meals; they only do so occasionally when there are fewer customers, which is quite rare.) The fact that they didn't charge exorbitant prices despite being in the mountains made us feel that the owner is a very honest and conscientious person. She's truly a woman who doesn't seem to be focused on making money but has a lot of passion and a love for life! She also mentioned that if business is good in the future, she'll add a movie viewing area and a terrace for coffee and tea—we can't wait! (*^o^*) Another thing that really warmed our hearts was that everyone from the volunteers to the owner was a very young and kind woman. It felt like a very women-friendly place. We were quite worried since it was our first time in the mountains of Xinjiang, but we unexpectedly met some very helpful and compatible fellow travelers. On our first day, they were very welcoming and attentive in helping us with our luggage. On the second day, the owner even found a horseman she knew to help us find horses to ride and introduced us to the scenic routes. It was a wonderful experience!
The stars in Qiongkushitai are incredibly bright at night. It rained a bit on the first afternoon, and I thought I wouldn't be able to see its beauty, but a rainbow appeared! The Milky Way was still dazzling at night, which was truly amazing. I feel like you can visit Qiongkushitai with your eyes closed.
This hotel has made me love Xinjiang even more! I highly recommend everyone to stay here. I really hope to see it even better next time I visit!

Guest UserAdvantages: The room was decorated with a great atmosphere, and the guesthouse was perfect for taking photos; it's clear that some thought was put into the design. There's even a swing on the small hillside, so you don't have to go to crowded Instagrammable spots. The guesthouse was also well soundproofed, with almost no noise. Areas for improvement: 1. No one proactively cleaned the room for two consecutive nights, including removing trash, possibly due to staff shortages. 2. There were some unwashed stains on the sheets, so they didn't look very clean. 3. There was no bottled water in the room; the owner provided two bottles later, but they weren't replenished the next day. 4. On the last day, we planned to eat at the restaurant, but were only informed at the last minute that the chef was unavailable. The breakfast was also mediocre; frankly, even for men, it wasn't very filling. Since it's priced like a five-star hotel, it's recommended to try to provide five-star service, such as providing more bottles of water. Clean the rooms regularly, or inform guests in advance to lower their expectations. After all, the price isn't much different from other five-star hotels I've stayed in. Also, the window view was beautiful, but the windows need cleaning.

Guest UserMy stay at Qiongkushitai Stargazing had its pros and cons.
On the positive side, the room's bed was equipped with heating, which was incredibly useful given the cold local weather. I was able to sleep quite comfortably at night and get some good rest. The guesthouse also had many adorable and lively small animals, including lambs, bunnies, and chickens.
However, there were a few issues with the bathroom facilities. Firstly, the bathroom temperature was quite low, lacking sufficient heating, making showers feel very cold. Secondly, the hot water supply was inconsistent, fluctuating between hot and cold, making it difficult to adjust to a comfortable temperature. In the mornings, hot water was almost unusable, causing significant inconvenience for washing. Additionally, the bathroom drainage system needs improvement. The drain was slow, leading to severe water accumulation during showers, which affected the user experience and posed a potential safety hazard.
Overall, the guesthouse service was excellent. They provided afternoon tea and a sweet soup before bed. The guesthouse manager also promptly came to help resolve the bathroom issues.
