"This was a last-minute trip to Tohoku and Hokkaido. Since I was staying in Sendai for the last few days and wanted to enjoy breakfast, dinner, and onsen (hot springs) at a nearby hotel, I decided to visit Akiu Onsen, which I hadn't been to before.
The hotel thoughtfully provided a shuttle bus between Sendai Station and the hotel, which was very convenient.
The front desk service was excellent. The onsen area was large, and the dinner was very good (including any extra meals I purchased).
The breakfast was relatively disappointing; there weren't any particularly appealing dishes, and the quality was just average.
Although I always chose to bathe and soak in the public bath, I also used the bathroom in my room, and my family members weren't used to going to the public bath. However, the problem was that even when I adjusted the temperature to over 50 degrees Celsius, the water temperature in the room's bathroom was only between 20 and 30 degrees Celsius, and adjusting it further didn't change anything. I wonder if there's something wrong with that.
In conclusion, for a hotel with a normal temperature, I believe there are other better options in the Akiu Onsen area."
