Great
GGj ChristiaGreat hotel with amazing location! Just a walk towards Park. No breakfast however a lot of eateries in the area. No elevator but you can ask assistance from staff to transfer luggages
DDMITRYThe hotel is located on a mountain, from there there are views of the sea and the port, but not too beautiful.
Very convenient service for delivery to and from the hotel.
You call a tuk-tuk and in a couple of minutes you’re standing at the reception; you don’t have to struggle up the hill every time after dinner.
At the hotel you can book tours around the islands, prices are the same as everywhere else, but pick-up from the hotel is late.
If you are going to dive and sunbathe, then this is a normal option, but if you are going to Coron Island to lagoons and lakes, then it is better to look for a company with an earlier departure.
The rooms are ok, the beds are good. Everything is clean, hot water is available.
Breakfast is good, it’s good that they start early at 6.30 am.
Group transfer from/to the airport costs 250 pesos per person, travel time is 40 minutes.
VVictoria&JessiMy overall experience is good! I'm the type of person who prefers active travelling, so the hotel is needed literally just for sleep, shower and storing stuff.
My requirements for the hotel were good proximity to the city center and nice room with hot shower. Well, the location is truly good, it's a bit on the hill so to get to the city center you just need to come down. In the same building there is a great cafe DAYO who offer 10% discount per day for the Oceana Bay hotel's guests.
During our trip to Philippines, Coron was the last destination and the 4th hotel we stayed at, and that was the only one with some room facilities issues. When we checked-in it turned out there is no water in the shower, the staff truly tried to be helpful, the receptionist girl offered us to stay in another upgraded room before the problem will be solved. The thing is when one day later we had to return to the room the problem with the water wasn't solved, we had to contact staff all the time which for sure was absolutely inconvenient, especially when water could be cut off during taking shower. At that point nobody cared already, there were no offers to change the room or to offer us a discount. The siphon from the sink was leaking, so every time you wash your hands, the bathroom floor is immediately in water.
The AC is truly loud, but this is absolutely normal for Philippines, as well as the absence of hair dryer. Nice thing that the hotel unlimitedly provides drinking water in the hall. The hotel also offers tours, bike rent, transfer to the airport, but I'd suggest to check it out in the city first, we've found more convenient and better price offers there.
PPirotziI had an amazing stay at Ricardo Valley Inn ! The property is situated on a hill with a stunning pool at the top, offering incredible views. The rooms are modern, spotless, and very comfortable. There are plenty of included amenities, making it a great value for money. The staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable, always ready to help with a smile. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Would definitely return!
GGuest UserThe location is good, center. Nearby are restaurants and cafes.
The beds are clean, the pillows are also clean.
Plumbing needs updating.
The air conditioner is noisy at night, you have to sleep with earplugs.
Breakfast is very meager: no fruit, basic butter, cheese.
Wi-Fi signal is not stable.
A huge negative towards the hotel employee: we had to go to the ferry to El Nido by 7:30 o'clock. She advised arriving at the ferry terminal in 2!!! hours. For what? So that we wait there for 2 hours for the ferry to depart? Are you out of your mind?
It’s good that we didn’t listen to her and left at 6:45. And we all managed to do it. Incompetent employee.
GGuest UserThe location is great, very close to the restaurant and the port, the environment is comfortable and bright, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the room equipment is comfortable and tidy, and the breakfast is also very rich, I will stay here again next time
YYANGThe price is very affordable. Hotel service is very good, the staff is very good, will greet you, help you solve the problem is very enthusiastic. The shower water is not hot. I have troubled people three times. The breakfast type needs to be notified one day in advance and the next day. In fact, all three are similar, not too rich but very delicious. The rooftop is also a place to eat breakfast, the scenery is very beautiful, the roof can also dry clothes, so even if your room does not have a balcony. The day before you leave, you can go to the airport car in advance, someone will pick it up. It is very convenient to go to the place where you can eat in the dive shop. It is the central location from the big step on the edge of the hotel. There are all. The only problem is that the chicken is called in the middle of the night. It will start at about 3-4 points. It will stop calling. The chickens are kept under the hotel. On the side, the whole town of Cologne is called chicken. I don't know if it has improved now.
AAfterainnThere are many types of breakfast, you can choose in advance every day. The environment is good, the hotel itself can provide breakfast, lunch and dinner at affordable prices. It's just that the air-conditioning cabinet in the room is loud and noisy. People who are sensitive to noise must wear earplugs. It can be said that there is no wifi, and there is basically no signal when connected. It’s best to buy a local phone card, which is faster than Unicom’s international traffic that a friend bought. There is one issue that has to be mentioned. I stayed for 4 days, only one day I put up a sign to clean the room, and the other days were DND. However, on this day, my AirPods disappeared when I returned from sea. Such things that are not clear inside the room really affect the mood. I hope that all guests who will stay in the future will take good care of their personal belongings.
