"Let's start with the positives. The location is super convenient, and there's a doorman to open car doors. They also didn't jack up the prices for the event, which was really considerate of them. We had a set menu at the Chinese restaurant for lunch, and it was delicious. Now for the downsides, and there are quite a few. I won't even mention the outdated facilities and old-fashioned layout, as they're still reasonably well-maintained. However, the linen hygiene and overall service were truly subpar. The hairdryer was a no-name brand, old and practically falling apart. The bath towels had a weird smell, and there were bugs (looked like house centipedes) in the wardrobe. My suitcase was open right next to it, and the thought of it still makes my skin crawl. When I went down for breakfast, even though my room card clearly showed I hadn't eaten yet, they insisted two people from my room had already dined. I told them that was impossible because only my roommate had gone down that morning. I have no idea how they record things. While they eventually let me in for breakfast, no one bothered to explain the misunderstanding, which left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth."
