"Arranged airport pickup in advance, and I was able to get to the hotel immediately after exiting the airport. The receptionist was very polite and welcoming, and quickly processed my check-in. They thoughtfully provided a handmade card with suggestions for eating, drinking, and having fun in Mangshi, indicating the distances to the hotel. They also reminded me that there was coffee, drinks, ice cream, etc. available in the lobby. There were a few pineapples in the elevator, and their refreshing aroma immediately relieved my travel fatigue. The room was fully equipped, the chaise lounge was comfortable, and there was a good place to put my clothes. The hot water came quickly and the water pressure was sufficient. The breakfast had a wide variety of options. I would definitely come back!"

"I booked a 76-square-meter apartment, and 76 is absolutely amazing!
Cleanliness: Satisfactory, no obvious unsanitary corners.
Service: Just average. No one helped with luggage, and the cups weren't changed during room service after my two-night stay.
Facilities: The hot spring was great, the swimming pool was huge, the breakfast was just average, and the mini-bar was all portable. They generously provided a lot of bottled water.
Summary: Suitable for families with children. 76 square meters is truly spacious! The airport transfer was in a large Mercedes-Benz van that could carry a lot of luggage. There's room for improvement in other areas."

"[Savings: Just an ordinary guesthouse with a Wanda brand] This is one of the few big-name chain hotels in Mangshi, newly opened this year, so it was my first choice during my trip to Mangshi. I was shocked upon arrival. From the videos, it looked like a residential building. The lobby entrance was completely blocked by electric bikes and motorcycles, forcing guests to walk around them, indicating a complete lack of order. It didn't resemble a proper hotel at all. The hotel was quite large, but only had one elevator, sometimes requiring a long wait, and staff and guests shared the elevator. The floors were very low, creating a cramped feeling. The laundry room only had two washer-dryers, and they were very small, low-end machines, even worse than those at All Seasons or New Hanting hotels. Each dryer took 1.5-2 hours to dry. How many people could use it 24 hours a day? So, there were always long queues. The rooms were mediocre, just a low-end Wanda brand hotel.
The duplex room didn't have the advertised double bathroom on the second floor, and there wasn't even a TV. Watching TV in bed was impossible, and the internet was unstable. Overall, I don't recommend it.
When I returned the next day, I found that the cups in the guest room had not been cleaned or disinfected, the tea stains from the previous day were still there, and the drinking water was just left lying around. See the photos."

Our room is very clean and quiet. All service staff at the Front Desk are extremely friendly and helpful. Since this is our first trip to the city, we got advice from them on local attractions with wheelchair access, a day trip and spa recommendation and assistance to ship a package. The hotel also offers a large selection of healthy and nutritious breakfast items. We totally enjoyed our stay and would love to return for another visit. "

"Stayed in Mangshi for a few days with oranges, and checked out and wrote two real feelings.
① The room is very comfortable at first glance, not the cold business style, orange and green match, I feel good, there is a faint orange smell in the house. The desk is big enough, the internet speed is stable, and the charging port is everywhere. It is too friendly to people like us who run around with a computer. Of course, this orange hotel is not stepped on the pit for tourism purposes!
② I didn't expect much for breakfast, but the rice noodles and running mountain pig toppings really surprised me. The soup was fresh, and I ate two bowls in a row, and I started work with blood after eating. (Because I am a travel dog!)
③ The service must be mentioned. The front desk responded very quickly. It was delivered in a few minutes without something.
[The most important point is that takeaways can be delivered to the room with robots, no need to go downstairs to pick them up! ]

"The hotel is facing Mangshi Square, the entrance is Mangshi Street, the first floor is very creative, the waiter is very enthusiastic, gave us a homemade play guide. Walk ten minutes from Mangshi North Station, we walked slowly. The bait and dumplings of the rotten road south of the square must be tasted early in the branch. The sound of dancing in the opposite square is noisy, and it takes more than ten o'clock to be quiet. Breakfast is a meal, may be the only drawback, can not choose, some people may not have the appetite, waste more."

ChilinggMy trip to Mangshi this time was quite a journey with a lot of twists and turns. My flight even took off and then returned to Kunming, but thankfully, I eventually landed successfully. I'm also grateful to the hotel for picking me up from the airport twice.
I spent a long time choosing a hotel in Mangshi, and I finally settled on Liyin. I tend to prioritize the guest experience, and from my room, I could see the iconic Great Golden Pagoda. The hotel's butler was also very attentive, greeting me every time I came and went and recommending many restaurants and attractions that locals frequent. I highly recommend renting an electric scooter right outside the hotel; Mangshi isn't very big, so it's super convenient to get around.
I hope I'll have the chance to visit Mangshi again, and I'll definitely choose this hotel.

Guest UserUpon arriving in Mangshi, a unique Southeast Asian charm immediately enveloped me. However, unlike the humid heat of Thailand, the air here was dry and crisp, invigorating me. My driver, a local Dai man, warmly introduced me to the local customs and traditions along the way, and even thoughtfully recommended the morning market the next day, where a variety of delicious snacks would make my mouth water.
I stayed in a guesthouse in the ancient Dai town. Standing on the balcony, I watched the sunset slowly sink below the horizon, the golden afterglow spilling onto the rooftops of the ancient town, as if draping it in a golden veil, serene and beautiful.
In the evening, I visited the Golden Pagoda and the Silver Pagoda. As night fell, the two pagodas, illuminated by lights, shimmered and sparkled, like the most dazzling stars in the night sky, breathtakingly beautiful.
For dinner, I took a taxi to Dehong, a place known for its enchanting cuisine. The sheer variety of food there was dazzling. I tried several local specialties, which were not only delicious but also reasonably priced. The total cost was only 75 yuan, which was excellent value for money!

Anonymous UserThe guesthouse is located inside the village, making it inconvenient to drive in and out. There are no parking spaces at the entrance, so cars have to be parked on the roadside in the village. Sometimes, when there are many cars parked in the village, you have to park quite far away to find a space. The cars are unattended, posing a safety hazard! The guesthouse doesn't have an elevator, so older people may have difficulty climbing up and down the stairs. Also, the drainpipe in the shower room is clogged, making it difficult to drain water, so you end up soaking your feet while showering. However, the owner and staff are quite warm and attentive. The only downside is that the tea canister they give you when you leave only has a little bit of tea left; it's unnecessary to give it to them, as it's a thankless task!

The reception was professional, and the staff was very helpful throughout our stay. For example when assisting us with the washing machine, as foreign tourists are unable to read the Chinese characters on the machine’s control panel. We also had an issue with the television and they solved it immediately.
They also kindly helped us organize a taxi to Ruili.
The room was very spacious and equipped with everything you need. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and soft. We especially appreciated that the window could be opened. The shower had excellent water pressure, and the water temperature remained stable at all times.
The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, including soups, vegetables, eggs, salad, congee, pastries, fruit, steamed dumplings, and various drinks.
A big thank you to the entire team – we felt completely at ease and would highly recommend this hotel.

Guest UserI chose this B&B because of the courtyard. When I got there, it was much better than I imagined. The courtyard was as beautiful as in the pictures. We arrived very late, and the owner was still waiting for us in the store. Under the rain, there was a bear waiting for guests at the door with a warm lamp on 🐻~. It has been raining these past few days, and my bestie and I were too lazy to go out, so we just looked at the beautiful scenery in the lobby, chatted with the owner, and ordered nine takeouts a day, hahahaha. I teased the two mimi from time to time. Well, it would be nice if they were more intimate. These past few days have been quite pleasant, if the weather is good. We can also play in the swimming pool. I think the household items are also very good. I am waiting for the owner to send the link. And I will come again next time~ I hope the mimi will come to say hello to me (wiping tears)

Advantages: 1. Mangshi area is small, and the hotel is located in the city center, making it very convenient to get around by electric scooter. 2. The hotel is a small duplex; the beds are upstairs. The hotel also has gym equipment and laundry facilities. Those who want to do laundry or use the gym can choose these options. 3. The hotel reception service is excellent, and a buffet breakfast is served at 9 am. 4. Parking is convenient and free; it's just a short walk away.
Disadvantages: 1. Because it's a duplex, you have to climb stairs to use the restroom. Those who dislike climbing stairs might find it inconvenient. 2. The hotel parking lot entrance/exit has a small bend, which might make it difficult to enter for large cars.
Overall, it's recommended.

Traveling with four seniors and two kids, I spent a long time choosing a hotel and finally settled on this one. I'm so glad I did! The king-size bed (2 meters wide) was so spacious that two adults and one child slept comfortably without feeling cramped at all. The room was large, the mattress was just right – not too soft, not too hard – and the pillows were very comfortable. Because we had kids, the hotel even provided an extra blanket for us, truly showing the quality of a grand hotel! The breakfast spread was excellent, and the 8th-floor terrace was perfect for photos; the kids absolutely loved playing on the swing! The hotel staff provided excellent service; they'd always greet us proactively in the elevator, which felt very friendly. We stayed for two nights and it was truly relaxing and comfortable. When we checked out, my family accidentally left behind a cosmetic bag, pajamas, and towels. The staff promptly contacted us and mailed them back – incredibly thoughtful! This is a genuine review, no advertising involved! ^_^

Guest UserThe location is easy to find ~ I saw the decoration of the youth hostel’s terrace from a distance. It’s very conspicuous. The first thing I felt was the atmosphere I wanted. The terrace is perfect for checking in. The boss is also very enthusiastic. I just happened to catch up with the youth hostel in the evening. party, but we were having so much fun that we forgot to take pictures! What a pity! The boss opened this youth hostel just to make friends. He added his WeChat account and decided to stay here again if he comes to Mangshi in the future. The overall atmosphere is very relaxing and very clean. I highly recommend everyone to come to this youth hostel to lie down!

The room is quite old and not very clean. There is mold in the bathroom, and the toilet paper provided is a very small roll. The shower pressure is strong, but there is mold on the floor in the shower area. I would appreciate better cleanliness and maintenance. However, the location is very good.

Really good hotel to stay at. It is a couple of minutes walk from the bus station for Tengchong, and about 15 minutes walk from the southern bus station for Ruili. Lots of supermarkets etc around, a bread shop, a fruit market up the road a bit. Room was very clean. Xiaoguo was really nice and patient with me (I don't speak Chinese). Definitely recommend staying here.
