"The hotel is super well situated, in the heart of the city. You will situated at a walking distance of anything you fancy. Good food nearby and 2 subway stops are as well very close by. You can access the hotel restaurant at anytime for a free coffee.
The sauna are the gym are good but a bit small and close at 22:00.
The AC was not working at the time of our stay so we had to open the window but many mosquitos got into our room at night and it was really unpleasant. The front desk couldn't provide any help which is very unfortunate.
The bed are a bit soft and the pillows are not that good.
To sum up,
Amazing location, really convenient but a few key points could be improved."

"I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a decent experience. The room was spacious and clean, offering good value for the price. However, I did find it a bit inconvenient that there was no kettle or fridge in the room. The metro station was within walking distance, making it easy to get around and explore central Lille quickly. The staff was friendly, but I did have an issue when I requested an extra pillow. I was told there were already extra pillows in the room (which we were using), even though the customer info page mentioned that extra pillows could be requested. That was a bit of a letdown."

"The Holiday Inn was located in a quiet area, fairly central to the centre, with most of the shops, train stations, and some museums nearby.
I enjoyed my stay, as the hotel staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was very clean, although small. I will definitely choose to stay there again, and have decided to visit again before the end of the year because I had such a pleasant experience."

"All rooms and close to all shops. Prima bathroom with delicious shower. At 11:30 am I came back from a walk and didn't work the number of the room while I was allowed to stay in my room for up to 12 hours. Then, when the reception was made, one came with him, and the door opened, and once again, one came in in my room, and I was not dressing. I don't understand why they go into the room if you can stay until 12 hours and I haven't checked out. I'll hang the ticket at the door next time with no disturbance. They were very friendly and I advise this hotel to everyone."

EE_Y_HGreat location. The room is big. There is no room cleaning service after check-in, but if you need new towels, you can ask the front desk. I only stayed three nights so it was ok. Keep yourself clean.
The heating and cooling are centrally controlled. The air conditioning was not cool enough, and I wanted to turn on the heater at night but it was only 12 degrees and there was no heating.
It's ok for a weekend.

AAnonymous UserThe hostel isn’t located in the city center but traveling to the hostel is super easy. The bus station is just next to the hostel. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. I was even allowed to check in earlier, but wouldn’t advise to expect for every case. My room is on the 1st floor but the bathrooms on this floor weren’t working so I had to go to other floors. The bathrooms on the 2nd floor’s shower wasn’t fully satisfying as there was no proper shower. It was just like a whole from a tube. I wasn’t able to adjust water’s temperature. The dorm bedroom is clean and safe. There’s a sink in the dorm room in case you want to clean your hands or teeth brushing. Overall, my stay was nice compared to other hostels I’ve ever stayed in.

GGuest UserThe receptions are really helpful, she is pro-active to assist before l asked for my wises. The room is bigger than standard as it has an extra sofa which can turn into additional bed and also a extra table for snacks. The WC is seperate from the shower, and you can take a shower with either a stand-bath or shower-tub. But most important is hygiene and they are doing really well. The location is right next to station and also shopping mall EuraLille. The breakfast is not amazing as not much warm meals you can choose from beside scrambled eggs and mini Bratwurst however there are enough various for breakfast.

GGuest UserFairly good location but other Ibis hotels are right in the heart of the city for only a few pounds more. Ended up getting taxis home at night as there are some quite dark, lonely sections on the road home.
Service was excellent for such an affordable hotel- staff brought extra pillow on request, iron and ironing board, they were always smiling, polite and proficient.
In the room, there was one small, high up window making the room feel dark and hot. We were on level 1, higher bedrooms seemed to have better windows.
Mattress was comfortable but not attached or anchored in- it tended to surf away from the hard headboard and your one pillow then fell down between the gap. The pillows themselves were crap- I felt like a I was sleeping on a water balloon- when you rested your head on one section, it would go flat and inflate the other. We requested extras because I had recently had surgery and needed extra support and one extra was provided. I ended up using towels for extra support which was less than ideal.
Bathroom was clean, modern and had a nice, powerful shower. TV had access to Netflix and YouTube.
The air conditioning was FANTASTIC and powerful when it was on but then it inexplicably would turn off maybe 2/3 times a night and the heat would wake us up which was a shame. We run hot and like a colder bedroom so this might not be a deal breaker for you but it’s very important for me and affected my quality of sleep.

However, when I asked them to help keep my luggage, they just opened a room door for me and asked me to put my luggage by myself, and when I wanted to get back my luggage, they asked me to take it on my own without even looking at what I was doing. I think they should at least give out a tag or something and mark down our luggage, what if someone comes in and steal the luggage?

KKate ThomWe were assigned an accessible junior suite though we didn't request an accessible room.. The bathroom was half finished and the wiring was not completed with the switches for the separate toilet and bath located in the doorway. There were signs pasted on the door to the toilet and the door to the shower stating that the hotel offered its apologies for the inconvenience! There was a workman's support pole found under the sinks which had to be removed by the technician when we complained. There was not a single hook, clothes stand, towel rack or rail anywhere in the bathroom, toilet or room. The hotel staff explained that they would send a technician a second time to drill hooks in the bathroom, we didn't bother since we were staying only 2 nights and didn't want the dust. The shower glass in the shower stall could not contain water within the stall and the floor became wet after we showered.
Location wise the hotel is perfect and the staff were polite. Breakfast was a mix of hot cooked food and the usual cold cuts, cheeses, breads, yoghurt, fruits and juices. The breakfast room changes to a bar at night which serves affordable and nice cocktails.

GGuest UserAn excellent address for people who want to visit Lille. It is located less than a mile a way from the station. And it’s easy to get to sights.
The hostel is very clean and the service is great. A good place ran by friendly people. The breakfast is amazing by hostel standards as you get bread, cheese, ham, olives, yoghurt, cereals, hot drink and orange juice.
There are also some community activities/workshops going on, but haven’t experienced these.

DDrignoidBe aware that this is a budget hotel. Initially we were given a room that was dirty and not maintained properly, another room was issues and it was great. The shower in the bathroom was a little cramped but manageable. The location is good and it's easy to find. It's close to the cities restaurants and a short walk to the old city. There is a main shopping centre attached and a great place to find breakfast.
