Rouen Hotels with Wifi

"Most importantly: security issues! This morning, a strange man entered our room, as if by mistake; we don't know how he opened the door! There are no glasses, kettle, slippers, or napkins in the room. I had a cold and needed hot water for my medication. One staff member was fine; he told me to fill it up from the coffee machine. Then, another night, another staff member rushed up to me and said that water wasn't allowed and that it was only for breakfast. The breakfasts were okay, typical for a small hotel."

"New Hotel. The Spa area is so small that you actually need to book it well in advance if you are planning to use it.. As most likely the slot which you would like is already taken. It's charged per hour... Overnight parking is €19. Very irritating is the shower in the bathroom as the water goes between too hot and too cold on its own pattern and you can't control it.. Typical for the buildings with the plumbing issues, or the water pressure.."

"The administrator was very nice. He immediately changed our room as soon as he found out that the main lighting in our room wasn't working. Instead of a room with an unappealing view, he gave us one overlooking a beautiful church. We were pleased. The hot water was indeed hot. However, there was no hairdryer, and water dripped from the pipe under the sink, so we had to place a trash can underneath it. The room was quite spacious. There were enough power outlets, and while there wasn't a traditional wardrobe, there were plenty of hangers. The towels and bed linen smelled pleasant, and the bed was comfortable. Attractions were a leisurely 15-minute walk away. We only stayed for one night, but overall, I could easily have stayed there for several days. Of course, that's not possible in every hotel."

"The location is indeed excellent, right next to the cathedral. Other aspects are average. Some rooms on the third floor are on a mezzanine level, requiring an elevator ride to the third floor followed by a flight of stairs, which is a bit intimidating. I wouldn't recommend it for a solo female traveler. Also, the room is very hot; even with the air conditioning on full blast, it's not cool. There's a small refrigerator. The toilet in the bathroom is wall-mounted, and I'm always worried it might collapse. Breakfast is okay, a standard Mercure breakfast."

"Overall, these are very decent apartments with a good location. Despite the windows facing the road, it was very quiet; the road didn't disturb my sleep, and the traffic wasn't heavy. The air conditioning worked well, which was crucial given the 35-degree heat in Rouen. Now for the bad part. Nowhere, neither on the Accor website where these apartments are listed, nor on Trip.com where they were booked, is there any mention of a required deposit of 150 euros. This constitutes a failure to provide clients with important, accurate information. This feels rather shady, gentlemen! When you take advantage of your clients, who are tired after a journey, and force them to choose between paying a deposit or sleeping on the street. Especially since the stay was already paid for with a non-refundable rate. As a client, I SHOULD have known about this in advance. But you failed to provide me with this information, which is confirmed in writing by Trip.com support. If a deposit is taken, there should be an inventory of the room's contents, because if there's any damage, you have the right to refer to that inventory. There was nothing of the sort here. Yet, the money was blocked. Now you can just invent any damage for the client, can't you? Don't you value your reputation? I will not stay at an Adagio property again, and I won't recommend them to others."
