"When i stayed at the hotel yesterday all seem fine. The room looked clean. But when I checked the locking system. It did not want to lock only the top part. I went to the lobby to let them know my dissatisfaction. They told me that all the rooms have this issue. I felt an bit of unease Afterwards i went to my room and contacted an trip.com travel agent. They also find it very weird why nobody was notfied about this issue. They contacted the hotel later and told me to wait but nobody came. An hour later I contacted an trip. Com travel agent again and told them i already waited an hour and felt neglected. So the travel agent contacted then again. Minutes later someone came by. He wanted to show me another room and sure the lock does not work properly anywhere. They apologised and since it was late i cant go to a other hotel. I talked to the travel agent again. On their advice they told me to put heavy objects in front and next to the door. So i put an chair and my bag in front of it. The travel agents where very helpful. I also ask them to warn future visitors about this issue as well. Also it is against the law Under the Consumer Protection Law (UU No. 8/1999), you’re entitled to use facilities that work properly and safely—“goods and/or services…must be fit for their intended use”. Government Regulation 67/1996 (Pasal 62 Ayat 2) makes the hotel operator legally responsible for your safety and security while on the premises. Even if “all locks” share the same flaw, the hotel must fix it or offer you an alternative that meets basic safety standards. I felt a bit safer when heaving the chair and my stuff in front of the door but i hope they will fix the issue as soon as possible for the safety of all hotel guest and inform the issue beforehand to hotelguest as well. "The last time we were at R Rancamaya was many years ago before covid. And after years, it is still quite good and bringing back many memories. The room is definitely needs upgrading or renovating to newer and more clean look. The buffet restaurant is great. And the animal park is definitely a must go to in the morning, after breakfast."

My tip for families (4 adults): rather than paying for an extra bed and additional breakfast, it's much better to just book a second room. This way, you're all set with enough beds and breakfast! For context, adding breakfast yesterday cost 150k per person. If you opt for an extra bed, the rate is 350k per bed, which only includes breakfast for one."

"The hotel is located at a strategic area in Bogor and walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Mcdonald is 50 metres away. Checking in and out was smooth with friendly staff. Room was reasonably sized for a 3 star hotel, air conditioned cold, water pressure strong and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was simple and good enough to fill the stomach in the morning."

"The room was nice and clean, and the hotel is centrally located in Bogor. However, the room wasn't soundproof, so the noise from passing motorcycles and cars could be heard quite clearly inside. This was quite disruptive and loud, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep."

"My first time trying Santika Bogor, and the location is strategic, service is good, rooms are good, and the hospitality is also good. Just a small note: at breakfast, the variety of food wasn't as much as when I last stayed at a Santika in another city. The fried eggs and omelets were prepared in large quantities before the restaurant even opened, so they were a bit dry. Also, the coordination with parking at Botani Square needs improvement so that we're not charged for parking again upon exit. But overall, I'm satisfied with Santika Bogor's service.
