Miyakojima Hotels with Wifi

"We stayed in a suite (*^^*) My son and I were both so excited about the curtains!! (lol) As soon as we stepped into the hotel, we were greeted by a wonderful fragrance and a grand atmosphere; everything leading up to our room was refined. The room had a fantastic location, a great layout, and a very comfortable flow of movement. I thought to myself, ”I'd love to live in a room like this in my retirement!” (lol) I also appreciated that the toilet was a little further away (^^) My 4-year-old son said, ”This is the best! I want to live here!” There was also a steam iron, which I used on a dress that I was worried about wrinkles in, and I was able to wear it comfortably. The meals featured many Okinawan dishes, and everything was very high quality and delicious. I really liked the quality of the ingredients and the seasoning. Every seat in the restaurant was beautiful; it felt like being in an art museum. There was also a laundry room, which was a great help as I could wash my pre-washed swimsuit. It's convenient because you don't need detergent, and it's also environmentally friendly. I would definitely like to stay here again. Next time, I hope it's sunny so we can swim in the pool and use the bar. It was a wonderful memory. Thank you so much (*^^*)"

"Great experience in Miyakojima! Location: The hotel is located in the center of the city, which is super convenient as a starting point to anywhere of the island: from here, the taxi to any direction is within 30 minutes at a cost of less than 3,000 yen. There is a FamilyMart across the road and you can get anything needed easily. And there are a lot of good dining places in the neighborhood. I made no reservation to any restaurant but just take a short walk randomly to the nearby restaurant every day and always find delicious food (there is one Japanese-style wagyu BBQ across the street which is super good!). Room: The room is cozy and spacious. You won’t feel it too narrow to open your suitcase as hotels in Japan elsewhere. The bed is comfortable. Facilities: There is a microwave in each floor, which is useful especially you need to leave early in the morning and have no time for breakfast. And there are also washing machines and dryers on the 1st floor, which is a must-have if you have activities in the sea. If there is any improvement I must say, that is the light in the room is too dim and it is not easy to do makeups."

"This hotel boasts an excellent location, perfectly sized rooms, and stunning views. It's also quite new, with great facilities and top-notch service. My only slight disappointment was the wait for breakfast, but it was tolerable. The best part is that breakfast runs from 6:30 AM all the way to 1 PM, which is a blessing for late sleepers!"

"There are many turtles when you go to Wai Wai Beach right in front of you. There is no need to pay for a hopping tour. Just wear a swimsuit and go out and see the fondant and turtles and come into the hotel to wash. Lots of breakfast buffet. There is no need to take the shuttle to other beaches. There is ice in the laundry room on the first floor of the hotel, so it is very convenient to take ice and pack it out, drink beer at the beach, swim with turtles, and wash your swimsuit in the laundry room. I'll stay here again."

"I enjoyed the natural beauty of Miyakojima and Shimojishima Island at Meer Hotel. It was easy to get there from Shimojishima Airport as bus number 9 stops right in front of the accommodation. I could also take bus number 9 to Painagama Beach and Maehama Beach. It was great to cook meals with my family at Meer Hotel, and the towels were changed regularly, which was a nice touch. They even lent us a Wi-Fi device, which was a huge help for our trip. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and provided lots of helpful information, making for a wonderful week. I'd love to visit Miyakojima again and this is definitely a hotel I'd return to. Thank you so much! P.S. If you go behind the accommodation at night, you can see the stars. There are many palm trees right next to the hotel, giving it a real tropical feel. Don Quijote, a local produce market, Aeon Drugstore, and Aeon (Maxvalu) supermarket are all within a 5-minute walk, making it the perfect location for a trip."

"The hotel is located very close to Miyako Airport and doesn't have a view of the ocean, but it was an incredible price at 10,000 yen for three people with breakfast included. It felt like a very clean business hotel. It seems to cater to many long-term guests, as we were able to use the laundry room and microwave. The room also provided basic amenities like toothbrushes, body towels, and shampoo, but guests had to bring their own cotton balls and tea from the lobby on the first floor. There was no lotion or other amenities, so guests had to bring their own. There was no view of the ocean from the room, and there were neighboring buildings and plumbing, but it felt more like a single-person studio apartment. The room did have a kettle, mugs, and a refrigerator, but no glasses. Plates were available for rent at the front desk on the first floor. I booked a plan with breakfast included, and the Miyako soba noodles I had for breakfast were not too strong and were very delicious. All the hotel staff were also very kind, and the restaurant staff in particular kept a close eye on keeping the place clean and were very helpful with customer support, making breakfast a pleasant experience. Of course, everything was delicious. You could even see the sunrise from the hotel, which was beautiful. It's close to the airport, so if you arrive in Miyakojima late, this hotel might be a good choice if you're planning to stay overnight first."

"There are no special facilities, it is cleaned very well, and it doesn't feel very old. Of course, the bathroom does not have a dry and wet separation, which still reflects the sense of age. There is a shuttle bus on the coast south of Shigira. It is really a big bus. It runs every half an hour during the day and every quarter of an hour after dinner time, making the transportation in this area quite convenient. There is no FamilyMart or 711 in the entire southern area, and there is no decent beach, including the largest Shigira Beach. The beach in front of the hotel is basically not a beach. The hotel itself has no recreational facilities, just a very small swimming pool, which is not only small in area, but also less than 1.2 meters deep, basically for children to play. Before noon and before dinner, it will be crowded with Japanese kids who come to travel until there is no space. Fortunately, there are groups chasing turtles in this area, so it is convenient to go there. To go to other places, such as Yonaha and Ikema Island, you can only drive or take a taxi. It is also difficult to get a taxi at night, and the bus stops after 18:00. So you can play in whichever area you live in. If you charter a car to go around the island, it doesn't feel like you are playing on the island. But it is still a very quiet choice, a kind of lying down vacation. If you want to have dinner around, you have to make an appointment in advance. There are quite a lot of facilities in the room, and you can also wash clothes."

"Miyako Island is divided into north and south. Shiriga is located in the south of the island, facing the South Pacific. It is a suite hotel with a private pool in a resort with 7 or 8 hotels scattered around. Basically, you can only visit the resort nearby. If you want to go to the more prosperous north, you need to rent a car or Didi, which is very expensive. It is so expensive that I think I am crazy to take a taxi. If you want to fully enjoy the resort in a short time, you can download an app called Shiriga Seven Miles Resort. Otherwise, I was a little confused when I first arrived. Anyway, I was confused because there was a resort around and there was no commercial area except for the guests. Travel depends on the hotel's shuttle and golf cart, but you can communicate with the hotel at any time. As long as you go anywhere in the resort, it is convenient and you can play for two days. The local people are simple and friendly to Chinese people. There are curious and cute black-skinned local boy employees, but most of them have poor English and basically cannot communicate. The attitude is good, but I am also very polite. This hotel has a super special place. This is a surprise secret for you to discover. The scenery is absolutely beautiful. The sea is full of water, with a turquoise color. If it rains, swimming on rainy days is also very pleasant. The scenery is especially recommended in coral village. I plan to stay there if I have the chance to come again, but I probably don't have much chance to come. There are hiking routes and beaches by the sea. You can bring sneakers to climb the whole mountain and then change into slippers to step on the sea. Just thinking about it makes me happy. Food recommendation is the teppanyaki in the main building of the resort. It costs about 1,000 yuan per person. The beef is delicious, and the lobster is average. You can choose a suitable set meal. There is also a restaurant called Miyako Soba, which has a pork hot pot, which is absolutely amazing. The seafood and sashimi are average, probably because the seafood sashimi in China is actually quite delicious now. There is also sake all-you-can-eat, which is cheap and delicious. You need to ask the hotel to help make reservations in advance. There are more than 20 restaurants in the resort, and there is a guide. Just ask the hotel to help you decide what you want to eat. Their service was so-so (because in the middle of nowhere, they refused to let me check out an extra hour late), but they were very smart in ordering meals. If you tell them any requirements, they will notify the restaurant, such as you may arrive late, or you may have an allergic reaction to something you ate. They will definitely help you convey it. The suite hotel has its own breakfast, which is very simple, but you can go to the lounge all day. The lounge is different from the domestic one, there is no food, just a few cheeses and dried fruits, but there is champagne. The breakfast coffee is good, but the lounge coffee is terrible. In short, the most worthwhile thing is the spacious room with a swimming pool where you can swim freely and can lie down for 5 people, delicious dinner pork and beef, wine, emerald sea, a relaxed mood on rainy days, a breeze that is not too cold, an empty pier on the beach, a small beach named after me (I made it up myself), and friendly passers-by. The most unhappy thing is that the resort is being renovated and building a building, which is very noisy during the day and the hotel is not embarrassed at all. I learned a skill to deal with complaints, tell the guests, sorry, I can't do anything. The more I think about it, the angrier I get. The room is big and can accommodate five people, but it is a quiet resort with few guests, so five people may not fit into one room. Anyway, the service in Japan is very strict."

"The hotel offers great value for money, is quiet and comfortable, and is located within the resort. "Our family of three had a very comfortable stay for four nights and five days. I hate cramped and cramped rooms, so I'm glad I chose the spacious suite. It's designed for six people, with three double beds and one single bed, so we each had our own spacious bed and slept comfortably. Basic cooking utensils and cutlery were provided, making it easy to make ramen. A Max Value convenience store is located five minutes away and is open 24 hours, so we packed lunches in the evening and reheated them in the morning. There's a large public bath on the first floor, and soaking in the warm bath at night completely melted away my fatigue. I'd definitely choose this place again the next time I visit Miyakojima."
