"My room wasn't huge, but it was very clean. The staff were excellent, and they offer a free airport shuttle service – just contact them in advance, and they'll be waiting for you at the exit with a sign with your name on it. It's also very close to the airport. The next day when I checked out, I didn't have a taxi app, so the staff helped me call a car and even exchanged 100 RMB for me to pay for the taxi. After the taxi arrived, the staff helped me with my luggage all the way to the car. Highly recommend!"

"This place is a very good hostel rather than a hotel, situated in the famous Thamel neighborhood of Kathmandu. It has excellent accessibility and a highly convenient location. Despite being in the bustling Thamel area, the street noise doesn't bother you at all. In my opinion, it is a great hostel but lacks standard hotel amenities. For example, even though we were two people staying in a private room, they only provided us with one towel. The common areas and rooms are very clean. However, if your room needs cleaning, you have to explicitly ask the staff; otherwise, they do not provide automatic housekeeping. The reception staff is highly respectful with excellent communication skills, and they provide very helpful guidance during your stay. If you have breakfast included with your room, you are only presented with two options. The first option includes two eggs, two slice of toast, and a little butter and jam. The second option is a spicy Nepali soup. With either option, you can choose tea or coffee. Since we stayed for a long period and do not prefer spicy food for breakfast, having only one viable choice became repetitive and bothersome. Ultimately, despite these points, I still recommend this place"

"★★★★★ I recently stayed at Hotel Barahi Kathmandu for 2 nights and 3 days during my trip to Nepal. To start with the conclusion, this is a hotel I would gladly stay at again. When I evaluate a hotel, I don't judge it solely on luxury or facilities. What matters most to me is how the people working at the hotel interact with their guests. Hotel Barahi Kathmandu was a very impressive hotel in that regard. From check-in to check-out, every staff member – at the front desk, in the restaurant, and from housekeeping – greeted me with natural smiles. It didn't feel like formal customer service because I was a 'guest,' but rather as if they were treating me as an individual. The hotel's location is also excellent. While it's within walking distance to the Thamel area, upon returning to the hotel, you find a calm space where you can forget the hustle and bustle of the city. It's a very convenient hotel for both sightseeing and staying. I also enjoyed breakfast every day. Beyond the variety of dishes, Nepali cuisine was also offered, which was great for a traveler like me to easily enjoy local flavors. On the other hand, there was noise in my room at night, and there was one day when I couldn't get enough rest. This was disappointing. However, what impressed me even more was the hotel staff's response afterward. They listened carefully to my concerns and addressed each issue without downplaying it. Their attitude conveyed a strong desire to 'improve the guest's stay.' During my travels, I pay close attention not only to the hotel's facilities but also to the people working there. No matter how grand the building, if the people aren't good, I wouldn't want to stay at that hotel again. Hotel Barahi Kathmandu was a hotel where I felt human warmth. Of course, there are always areas for improvement. But this hotel has an attitude of being willing to address those areas. That was of great value to me. That's why if I have the opportunity to visit Nepal again, I would choose this hotel once more. Finally, I would like to express my gratitude to all the front desk staff, restaurant staff, and housekeeping who kindly assisted me during my stay. "Very fresh opened BWP , Best Western Plus located at the Inner Ring cercle of the Capital Kathmandu . Nearby situated is the Bagmati River , very close as shown of the Pictures , too ."

"The hotel is located on the outskirts of Thamel, so it's relatively quiet here. The rooms are comfortable and equipped with everything you need. The mattress and pillows are superb; sleeping on them is a real pleasure. Hot water is available 24/7 with excellent shower pressure. Although the rooms are comfortable, I wouldn't want to return here. This hotel lacks character. However, if you're looking for a comfortable place to sleep at a reasonable price, then this is an excellent option."

"The rooms are this hotel are very nice. The location is perfect. The service levels are very high. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. In particular, Monika and Besang in the restaurant, Sita and Binita for the cleaning service, and all the security staff. Overall, our stay here was very good. The breakfast is very good, with a nice variety. If I could suggest some improvements, it would be fresh pastries for breakfast and maybe some alternatives to cows milk such as oat or almond milk. The other thing is, the gym needs a total refresh. I recommend staying here. It is a very good offer overall. Thank you for giving us a pleasant stay."

"Located within walking distance to the Buddha Stupa, this hotel is in a convenient location yet in a quiet corner near the stupa. The service is great and the staff are very helpful and hospitable. The highlight is there’s a ******* Buddhism Monastery right in the hotel’s yard, and guests can do free yoga course every morning inside the monastery which is a big plus."
