"Let's start with the location: it's a bit isolated, but it has a large, spacious, beautiful lobby, meticulously maintained. At the front desk, you'll find very kind staff who will help you with any small problem or request. Initially, I only planned to stay one night, but given the enchanting surroundings and numerous attractions like Sky Ranch and boat trips, I extended my stay to three nights. The price for a single room, as I was traveling alone, is around €20, with some fluctuations, which should be about 1500 Philippine Pesos. The reason for this price is that the room has basic furnishings; for example, there's no shower curtain and the sink is really tiny. There's a restaurant in the residential complex, and you can have breakfast at a cafe opposite the entrance. I had a small issue with the electricity when I first arrived, and after calling the front desk, they immediately sent a technician who fixed it in under 15 minutes. They provide toothbrushes, soap, and slippers. Here's a tip: download the Food Panda app for food and Joyride for transportation, and as long as it's not the weekend, you shouldn't have any trouble ordering. The pool is a bit small, located on the west wing of the reception area. With a few small improvements, especially in the bar area and by blowing away some leaves with a leaf blower, this could be a premium hotel. Lastly, they have parking available if you want to rent a car or motorcycle."

The staff were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and always willing to help, which really made the experience even better. The amenities were excellent, well maintained, and added a lot of comfort to the stay. "I've been to several hotels in Tagaytay already and I always come back to Casiana. It's great compared to other pricey hotels. The staff are friendly and the buffet is good too. The rooms are spacious (with balcony) and the toilets are modern. Parking is always available. The pool needs a little bit of cleaning. It is big compared to other hotels in the area - 4 feet for adults. The only thing I am constantly having a problem is the wifi in the room. Sometimes it disappears and is not consistent. I wish they would fix it since it has been a problem for way back in 2023 when I started to go to this hotel. I attached the photo of the custom eggs they made for us while eating our buffet. It was a nice touch."

"We stayed here last Holy Week 2024 for 2 nights. The location is good and easy to find. The restaurant needs a bit of improvement when it comes to tables and chairs and the ambiance and also the food choices. There were no pastries and cakes and no other coffee choices.They only have brewed which didn’t taste good. The room was nice and huge including the bathroom but it needs brighter lighting. Overall it was a good stay but it’s not really place to be going back to. We just tried it."

"We enjoyed our stay at Lake Hotel. We had a view of Taal Lake (and Taal Volcano) and enjoyed having coffee with that view. Food is great and service is superb. Waiters were readily available - assisting us to bring our plate back from the buffet table and helping bring up our bags as there were no elevators. Location is great - Conti’s beside the hotel and other restaurants to the left and right. Wish I was able to swim. Great view of Taal from the pool"

"Overall the rooms is fine, although very basic and noisy if facing the busy avenue a few meters away from the windows. The bathroom turns into a permanent pool after the first shower, no curtain or divider between the shower and the bathroom, the water hardly drains as the floor is sloping towards the walls and door rather than toward the drain. Lighting in the bathroom is very poor, one can't see him/herself in the mirror, it makes shaving or putting makeup on, a real challenge. And there are no other mirrors in the room. Streaming services are available but not free, you need an account, as it is pay per view. No cable TV No shelves or closet, only 2 hangers on hooks on the wall."

"Its generally fine to sleep here at Sogo but i was a bit surprised when we entered the room and found it hadn’t been cleaned yet. The staff did clean it quickly, which I appreciated but we still had to wait outside in the lobby since they didnt offer us another room. Hopefully, this doesnt happen again."

"At first i was disappointed because it's a long walk from the parking area to the room assigned to us plus the steps that you need to walk through. Then i realized i needed to walk and release some sweat. The hotel's facade is quiete tricky. It looks small but when you enter it's big. The swimming pool is very clean the staff spent a long time cleaning the area. There's a safe and cute hanging bridge and the spa and jacuzzi are also available. The staff are very accomodating.
