Holiday Inn Savannah Historic District sits just a short stroll from River Street, right in the heart of one of America's most walkable neighborhoods. Cobblestone streets, moss-draped oaks, and centuries of Southern charm start at your front door — and so does a central location that puts business travelers and families alike within reach of it all.
From the iconic fountains of Forsyth Park to the live music and open-air galleries of City Market, the city’s best-loved landmarks are minutes away from our Savannah, GA, hotel. Grab a trolley tour past the Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist, wander through Bonaventure Cemetery's hauntingly beautiful grounds, or simply pick a direction and let the Historic District surprise you.
Back at the hotel, 520 Bistro serves up American favorites for breakfast and dinner, with a nightly happy hour that's tough to beat. Cool off at the rooftop pool after a day of exploring, and let the kids eat free while you settle in. Planning a conference, wedding, or corporate gathering? Our flexible ballroom and boardroom accommodate groups of every size.
"This is a very cozy and comfortable hotel, and we really enjoyed our stay here. One of the biggest advantages is the excellent location — it’s very close to the main historic areas, so you can easily explore Savannah on foot.
The hotel also has a swimming pool and a gym, which is a great bonus after a long day of walking around the city. Everything was clean and well maintained.
Valet parking is available and it is paid, around $40–50 per night, which is quite typical for this area. However, I personally managed to find free street parking nearby, which was a nice surprise.
Overall, a great hotel with a warm atmosphere, good facilities, and an unbeatable location. Highly recommended!"
