"My husband and I stayed at this location because he had a medical procedure in Birmingham the next morning. It’s conveniently located near I-65 and 10-15 minutes from downtown. We didn’t hear the noise of the highway because we stayed up the hill in the back of the property. The downside was that the room smelled stale and old. It was supposed to be non-smoking but there were cigarette holes in the bedspreads on both of the queen beds. The pillows were awful. Three on each bed and they were lumpy. Also, I woke up in the night to itching and stinging on my arm. Some unknown critter had bitten me. It looks like a spider bite. I won’t be staying there again. Lastly, the current picture on here is NOT The Days Inn. It’s the hotel next door."
