While the hotel brand is quite established and the overall facilities show their age slightly, the overall experience far exceeded my expectations. 💕 I especially loved the breakfast buffet! However, if you're particular about modern hotel amenities, you might want to skip this review. 🌟 Hot Spring Experience: Sulfur Pools So Comfortable, You Won't Want to Leave The hot spring area is very clearly sectioned, with plenty of pools of all sizes. There are numerous sulfur pools with warm, gentle water and a subtle, natural sulfur scent. After a soak, you feel completely relaxed. There are also several clear water play pools specifically for children. The water temperature is mild and not too hot, making it a paradise for kids to play in during the summer. 🌟 Dragon Boat Festival Exclusive Family Activities: Rich Content, Full of Atmosphere We happened to catch the hotel's Dragon Boat Festival-themed family activities, and the free craft projects were genuinely thoughtful: 1. Zongzi Making Experience: Kids got to participate in making Zongzi themselves. The staff were patient and taught them hand-in-hand, making the holiday feel truly special. The next day, you could ask the hotel staff to cook them for breakfast! 2. Scented Soap DIY & Plaster Painting: My little girl sat quietly for an entire afternoon, meticulously coloring. Afterwards, she got to take her handmade creations home, which she absolutely loved. The activity schedule was well-arranged throughout the day, and you didn't need to buy extra tickets; just staying at the hotel allowed you to experience it. The value for money was unbeatable! 👍 🌟 Hotel Amenities & Service: An Established Hotel with Surprising Soft Power You can tell the hotel's architecture and decor have some history. The lobby's domed ceiling and vintage columns give it a mature, classic resort vibe. While the facilities aren't brand new and trendy, they are meticulously cleaned and well-maintained, not looking worn out at all. 🌟 Overall Summary: The per-person cost is affordable, including hot springs + free family activities. You can eat, stay, soak, and play all in one place, without needing to go to other attractions. It's suitable for spring and autumn for a healthy sulfur hot spring soak, or for summer with kids to play in the water and enjoy holiday-specific activities. Families with kids, just go for it! "Facilities: The facilities are complete, but the shower water temperature is inconsistent, and the water pressure isn't very strong. Cleanliness: Clean. Environment: Located in a villa area on the mountainside, the air is fresh and quiet. However, there are no restaurants nearby; you need to drive to town to eat. Service: Excellent. The owner is very welcoming and constantly inquired about our needs. Any problems we had were resolved immediately. The hot springs are also fantastic; each room has its own private sulfur hot spring bath, which we could soak in anytime."

"We stayed at Qixi Guest House in Dayi, Sichuan with our two kids and chose the River View Loft Room — and it was such a lovely experience. The room was very clean and comfortable. Our kids absolutely loved it because they had their own space in the loft area. There were plush toys and books prepared for them, which made it even more special. The loft area also had a warmer, so it stayed cozy and comfortable. The owner is very kind, and the place is managed by two elderly ladies who are incredibly sweet — they reminded us of our own grandmothers. They were so warm, caring, and genuinely helpful. They even helped us book taxis because it can be quite difficult to get a Didi in this area. There are no halal restaurants nearby, so it’s best to bring ready-to-eat food from home. However, they knew we are Muslim and thoughtfully prepared halal-friendly breakfast for us — noodles, fried eggs, vegetables, buns, candy, nuts, and boxed milk. We truly appreciated their effort. Downstairs, there is a shared kitchen area that guests can use. It’s well-equipped with utensils, a microwave, hot water dispenser (similar to Coway), and basic kitchen facilities — very convenient for families. The only downside is that there is no lift. The building has three levels. We stayed on Level 2 (just one flight of stairs up from the ground floor), so it was manageable, but carrying heavy luggage could be challenging. When we checked out, the owner even gave us a small gift bag with a keychain and fridge magnet — such a sweet gesture. From the guesthouse, it takes only about 20 minutes by Didi to reach Xiling Snow Mountain. Just make sure to book your ride 20–30 minutes earlier because it can be hard to get a car in this area. There are small shops nearby if you need drinks or basic items, but by around 9:40 pm, most places close and the area becomes very quiet. The river view from our room was absolutely beautiful. The guesthouse is located at the foothill area with charming ancient China village vibes — peaceful and scenic. The hospitality was truly heartfelt. We also noticed many Malay guests have stayed here before, so they are familiar with preparing Muslim-friendly meals. Overall, we had a very warm and memorable stay. Highly recommended for families visiting Xiling Snow Mountain."

The details are well done, the parent-child room has Yunrou towels for the baby, and there is a fence to prevent the baby from falling off the bed (but the fence is not very stable).
