"This was definitely the right choice! We had a twin room with floor-to-ceiling windows and a mountain view, which was spacious enough. The underfloor heating and central air conditioning made our stay incredibly comfortable, and the room was spotless with no odd smells. The hotel also offers free hot springs, where you can relax and admire the mountain scenery, instantly washing away the fatigue from all the hiking. They also have a 'fireplace tea' experience and afternoon tea available. The breakfast was varied and tasty, and the staff were gentle and attentive. It's not too far from the Bipenggou Scenic Area, and for just over 200 yuan, the value for money is outstanding. It's perfect for both friends traveling together or families with kids. We'll definitely stay here again next time!"

"The accommodation itself is beautiful; however, the receptionist on duty on 23 and 24 April (the same lady on both days) was unwelcoming and rude. She appeared displeased by simple requests, such as arranging transportation to the lake entrance, especially since private vehicles are not allowed in. Although we do not understand the language she was speaking, her facial expressions and tone clearly conveyed her attitude. That said, the restaurant staff during breakfast were pleasant, professional, and very helpful. It is disappointing that the first and last point of contact for guests was handled so poorly. I hope management will consider providing additional training for this receptionist to match the welcoming service standard demonstrated by the restaurant staff. No response on WeChat could be a perfect 10 if the reception was good"

"The hotel's location is excellent, right near the Bipenggou scenic area. There are restaurants at the entrance, and a yard for free parking. We booked a family room, which was very spacious and even had a small tent. We arrived at 8:30 PM, and the proprietress had already called ahead to turn on the underfloor heating. The breakfast in the morning was also very generous. Highly recommended! There's a beautiful little river in front of the hotel, and you can see the mountains opposite right from your window."

"Best stay ever ! If I would come Bipenggou, I will stay at this homestay again. The uncle & aunty are super friendly that make you feel so warm. There is a dog, I think the name is Kangbao. Super friendly dog, welcoming you from the dog the moment you arrived the hotel. The room is exactly the same as advertised. They will provide you disposable towel and amenities. Best part, you can have xiao du (smart home) to control the curtain and probably lights (we only tried with the curtain). Morning breakfast was super delicious even though is simple. It taste so homely. You won't regret staying here. It is located 30mins away from Bipenggou entrance but it is a town area where you can explore."

"Great location, new and clean facilities, and a super comfy bed with a heated blanket under the bed sheet so no more dry air from a heater. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The highlight was definitely the toilet — the best I’ve seen in China, with a warm seat! Will definitely come back and highly recommend this place. 👍"

"The family room has bed linens that my child loves, which are different from the adult ones, and that's a nice touch. The duvet cover for the little one is also very comfortable. They even provided some toys, which is a great bonus! The owner is very thoughtful, providing a humidifier and tea in the room. The staff are also very friendly to children. I sent a message asking for help turning on the TV, and someone came up right away – excellent service!"

"The location of the homestay is in Mialo Town, next to National Highway 317, convenient transportation, spacious rooms, with floor heating, although it was snowing that day, the room was not cold at all, 24 hours hot water, the hotel has a parking lot with plenty of parking spaces, the proprietress is very good, and very enthusiastic. As soon as I heard that we were going to climb the mountain, we immediately upgraded the room for free, let us rest better, and enthusiastically introduced us to local meals, and let us take a free ride to the restaurant to eat. They went above and beyond to accommodate our every need. Our room was incredibly spacious, bright, and spotlessly clean. The beef offal hot pot *must* be highlighted! It was absolutely divine! The broth was rich and flavorful, the beef offal fresh and meticulously clean, and the portions were generous. The taste was incredibly authentic."
