"The hotel is a decent five-star standard. The front desk staff were great, very warm and attentive. What really let it down was the housekeeping. The room smelled strongly of a damp, fishy odor. Housekeeping came and just 'half-heartedly' flushed the drain and opened the window. When I returned in the evening, the smell was still very strong, to the point of being nauseating. It was clearly caused by a dirty, damp mop. I called housekeeping again, and they asked me how I wanted it handled. That's when I also noticed the duvet cover smelled fishy too. After a long hassle, I was finally able to sleep, barely. Also, the room included afternoon tea from 2:00-5:00. We went at 4 pm, and they said the cake would take another hour and a half to be ready, which was too late. You could have easily prepared it and delivered it to the room instead of making excuses not to provide it, as tourists aren't going to stay in just to wait for your afternoon tea."

"This is an older five-star hotel, and the concierge service is excellent; they proactively delivered our luggage to the room. The breakfast selection is rich, with many local Zhanjiang dishes. The room also came with drip coffee. The dinner dishes were quite tasty. The downsides are that the facilities are a bit dated, and the Chinese restaurant was understaffed and poorly lit during dinner. The sea view room only offered a partial sea view, so the effect was limited. Overall, the service was decent, but the hardware is showing its age."

The bed felt like sleeping on a cloud, with high-quality linens and a fantastic pillow selection that ensured a great night's sleep. Amenities: The tech integration was a great touch—from the automated lighting to the easily accessible charging ports. The bathroom felt like a private spa, complete with a powerful rainfall shower, deep soaking tub, and premium toiletries. "Advantages: 1. The geographical position is superior, walking distance to Wanda and Jinshawan Beach are within 2 kilometers; 2. New facilities opened, environmental space design is more modern; 3. Equipped with gym, swimming pool, laundry room to meet basic and additional needs of travel. 4. The executive floor has a superior view and there is almost no decoration smell in the room. The bathroom in the room is reasonably designed, and the drainage is quiet and fast. The robot delivers food efficiently, which is much better than a swan. To be improved: 1. At present, the underground parking lot and swimming pool are not open; the swimming pool is small and shallow, only suitable for children to play; 2. Floor elevators are not equipped with trash cans and emergency public telephones; 3. The gym is not equipped with a trash can, and due to the strong smell of the newly opened gym, it is recommended to open the window for ventilation and take other measures to remove the smell."

"The room met expectations for its price point and offered a good selection of pillows. Breakfast was decent, though I wish there were more varieties of meat and fruit. There was a book in the room detailing the hotel's history and local attractions. However, it's a pity that historically significant buildings like buildings 7, 8, and 9 are not open to the public. This is particularly disappointing as building 8 is described as the hotel's historical exhibition hall and building 9 as a special exhibition called 'Forever Memories'. As a part of a 4A-rated scenic area, I believe these should be accessible to visitors. It would be even better if all buildings with special status or significance, such as building 7, could be opened for public viewing on weekdays, provided it doesn't disrupt their operations. The hot springs were a highlight, offering a rich variety including unique volcanic and basalt pools, various herbal pools, as well as wet and dry saunas, a fish spa, and massage pools. Resorts at similar price points elsewhere rarely offer such comprehensive facilities, which is definitely a plus!"

"I was originally going to have morning tea, but I didn't expect to see that the hotel was not bad. I asked the front desk to take a look at the room. I was very surprised. The hardware facilities were very complete. The materials used were the best. The bedding was also very comfortable. The service staff made me feel very comfortable. When I left, I also made an appointment to send me to the station. The experience was very good. This is a veritable 5-star hotel in Zhanjiang. The design is old-school and luxurious. Not to mention the morning tea. The soufflé is so big that you have to order it if you don't have a table. In general, it has the taste of the old Cantonese morning tea. The pineapple in the sweet and sour pork is particularly sweet. I will go there next time"
