"I arrived early on the day of check-in, and even though it was before the official check-in time, the front desk staff proactively helped me get into my room early, which I really appreciated. However, the room I was assigned had a noticeable issue: not only was it right next to a storage room (for some reason, I always get these kinds of rooms in Italy), but there was also a strong sewer smell inside. I initially thought that since they had already accommodated my early check-in, I should just put up with it. But after I showered, the odor got even worse, making it impossible to endure for three consecutive nights.
Upon returning later, I went to the front desk to request a room change. This time, a different female staff member was on duty. She seemed very reluctant, her expression showing annoyance and a lack of professionalism. Although she eventually did change my room, the bathroom in the new room was almost half the size of the previous one, and I'm not sure if it was even the same room category.
It wasn't until the next day that another front desk attendant proactively apologized for the previous room issues and acknowledged the bad smell. Overall, this stay was a mixed bag, with inconsistent service quality."
