El Mouradi Cap Mahdia
"This small hotel has a special warmth that is difficult to put into words. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcome and like at home. Every corner is thoughtfully designed with love and attention to detail, creating a truly pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. The staff are warm-hearted, friendly, and genuinely kind, making the stay not only comfortable but also unforgettable. A sense of peace, coziness, and care for guests can be felt at every step. This is not just a hotel, but a place where beautiful memories are made. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. I always enjoy coming back and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who appreciates warmth, hospitality, and genuine care for guests. With love, Vesna from Slovenia "

Hotel Nour Palace Resort & Thalasso Mahdia
"I feel like I stayed in a different hotel to some of these reviews! The hotel is at best a 3* by British standards. Our room was shabby with stained white towels, rusty taps, shower over the bath with a fabric curtain that you had position yourself and hold the shower head to prevent filling the bathroom with water - a lesson learnt on day one - not to mention damaged tiles, dirty grouting around the bath etc etc. On early arrival around midday, our room wasn’t ready so we were sent for lunch. When we returned we still had to wait so we went for a wander - needless to say no sun beds available at this time of day - next morning we found out why when people were reserving beds from around 6:30am! We were given no advice as to where everything was (towel hut - good luck finding that! ), Italian ‘gourmet’ restaurant - which actually serves the same food from the main restaurant (pizza/pasta) where to collect cushions for the mainly broken sun-beds. What was a real annoyance was being told we needed to pay 20 dinars each for towel hire which would be returned when we left. We had to convert £20 into dinars and when we left we were offered 40 dinars or £15 - they have a closed currency so you can’t take the money with you. They also fail to tell you that you can only used the dinars in the airport BEFORE you go through passport control and then they take all currencies except dinars! The food was very limited in variety and very much the same every day. The food was ever only ‘warm’ and although there is a microwave, you don’t know how long the food has been sitting around and I had an upset stomach 3 of the 7 days. The keycard was very hit and miss for the room and often took about 10 swipes to get it to work. I would not recommend this hotel and even our waiter admitted it was only a 3* by Tunisian standards. If you haven’t booked, don’t, if you have ask for a high floor because apparently the rooms are nicer at the top. We booked through On the Beach - no onsite help if you need it!"

"A magnificent stay in a characteristic property with meticulous attention to detail. A step back in time with all the modern comforts. Nothing is missing, especially the friendliness of the staff, impeccable in their welcome and service. Enjoy a hearty breakfast on the terrace, which can also be enjoyed in the evenings. You'll be at ease immersed in the bustling medina and in the complete tranquility upon returning from the beach and strolls. Don't miss the opportunity to stay here!"

Hotel Club El Borj
"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 – Alex and the Animation Team We had an amazing stay at Hotel El Borj, and a huge part of that was thanks to Alex and the animation team. Alex was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always made sure everyone was having a great time. He worked so hard every day to keep guests entertained with fun activities, games, and fantastic evening shows. The whole team created such a fun and positive atmosphere, making everyone feel included no matter their age. They were always smiling, full of energy, and genuinely cared about making our holiday special. A massive thank you to Alex for making our stay unforgettable. If you’re staying at Hotel El Borj, be sure to join in with the entertainment—you won’t regret it! 10/10, highly recommended, and we can’t wait to come back!"
El Mouradi Mahdia
"Bad experience, not recommended. I don't recommend it. First, there's no food selection (limited buffet). Second, there's no Wi-Fi in the rooms. Third, there's a persistent damp smell in the hallways and rooms. The overall experience was disappointing."
El Mehdi Beach Resort ex Primasol El Mehdi
"I stayed at the el Mehdi hotel between 20th may 2026- 27th may 2026 the view was stunning the room was 50/50 the shower kept going boiling hot then freezing cold and leaking out of the shower head , there was also water leaking out of the bidet. Our fridge worked fine but if it was on less then 5 then nothing in the fridge would be cold but if we had it on 7 some of the stuff in the fridge would freeze and form like ice glaciers inside the bottles and made a annoying humming noise but apart from that the room was good. However the entertainment people were really friendly especially Leo and Rayen there was a lot of variety of activities like aqua gym, waterpolo, volleyball, darts, salsa and ping pong. They always were kind and respectful to all guests and liked having fun with everybody (they love their job). The entertainment staff always treated you like a family member or friend and was always sad to see people leave. One or two nights, one during the week one on a weekend they have a disco like night which consists of music and dancing it’s really good however if you have younger children it might be difficult to get them to sleep as it finishes around 12am (midnight). The food in our opinion wasn’t good. There wasn’t a lot of variety especially for picky eaters or younger children and most of the fruit wasn’t ripe or like the strawberries , were flavourless and mushy. The pasta from the pasta station was chewy and the rice every time we had it was hard and chewy. The quality of the food for the price of the hotel was definitely not worth it at all. Most nights it would consist of fried fish which we was nervous to eat as they was serving RAW chicken (we spoke to another couple here who also was served raw chicken a couple days before we arrived.) We showed the pizza making chef the raw chicken and he even said one minute and rushed to get the head chef as even he could see it was pink and raw. When the head chef came out he tried telling us the pink was from rosemary and it was not raw at all and we was wrong. The head chef was very disrespectful and rude telling us we was crazy and delusional for thinking we had raw chicken. The pizza chef even said himself that the head chef doesn’t care and is an ignorant person. We did not expect this level of abuse and disrespect for commenting something was raw. If you go here always check your meat before you eat it. Also, not to mention the fact that the drinks we had from the fruit juice machine were so concentrated they were barely drinkable they was so strong and even watered down they tasted funny, the pineapple juice especially had a weird aftertaste. The fizzy drinks were always flat because they put some drink out a machine, shaked it in a bottle at the bar and gave it in your drink. We tried two alcoholic drinks one being a strawberry daiquiri which was nowhere near one but it tasted OK. But the vodka coke had a mould aftertaste and the beer was completely flat and had no head.
