Mountain View Hotels in Sihanoukville

There are so many good things about this place, I don't even know where to begin! They allowed us to check in early, and the staff at reception spoke fluent English and were incredibly friendly. The complimentary iced juice was also delicious and refreshing 🍹. When we got to our room, we were surprised to find a thoughtfully arranged small crab on the bed and a pandan leaf folded into a 'welcome' message – such a delightful touch! 😌 As a sea-view room, the beautiful scenery right outside and the clean, white sandy beach are almost the least of this hotel's advantages. Within miles, there's no place with better facilities or more stunning, pristine sand. The hotel's swimming pool is also top-notch and beautiful, with clean water, showing how well it's maintained. During the day, you can book a spa (not free), and it's incredibly therapeutic and peaceful, accompanied by the sounds of waves and birds. The therapist was gentle and attentive, even proactively applying herbal medicine when she noticed a wound on me 🌿. The hotel offers free paddleboards and glass-bottom boats for guests to enjoy. In the afternoon, there's also an hour-long surfing experience. The instructor, Anthony from the Philippines (I think that was his name, sorry I can't quite recall 🥲), had such a great attitude and was an excellent teacher – patient and enthusiastic. I actually learned to surf in just one hour! 🤣🤣 Regarding meals, breakfast is a buffet. Nothing particularly outstanding, but the variety is rich and the taste is good, pretty standard. I feel like a à la carte system would offer a better experience. For dinner, we booked a BBQ at the hotel, and there was a lovely singer performing. Even with few guests, she sang for us with great dedication 🎤. We were truly grateful, and it's worth highlighting that her skill level was incredibly high – she sounded amazing! 🥰 All in all, beautiful scenery, wonderful people. Golden Beach, you're awesome! I'll definitely choose you again next time! 😍😍😍

Fantastic hotel! The room (Deluxe Side View) was spacious with all the amenities you could need. The bed was really comfortable and the water was hot. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, from reception to restaurant staff to bar staff. The beach area was gorgeous, white sands. We hotel arranged a night trip to swim in bioluminescent plankton. Highly recommended, like swimming with fairies in the ocean! The food and cocktails were delicious and reasonably priced.

The hotel hospitality was very pleasant. I had a great time with family and seeing the costal views of Sihanoukville. A much more peaceful location, I will definitely be returning back. Though I do advise anyone who’s not a late-camper to request a room away from the beach club as it could get a bit noisy until 1:30AM. Other than that, wonderful team and experience.

The water quality was really poor, with a strong disinfectant and sour smell. The pool water was even worse – my friend broke out in a rash all over after swimming. Breakfast was terrible, with very few options. The restaurant next to the hotel played loud rock music until 2:30 AM, and there were incredibly loud bird calls every night right next to the hotel, making it impossible to sleep. The shower water temperature was too low; it was practically a cold shower. I definitely won't be staying here again; the value for money is just too low.

The hotel is well-located and offers good value for money. The rooms are a bit dated, and sometimes there's a smell of garbage from neighboring areas. Some rooms also smell of smoke as many guests smoke directly in their rooms. Breakfast is à la carte but sufficient. The hotel doesn't provide beach towels, and there are limited sun loungers by the pool with no umbrellas. They also don't have the advertised sun loungers in the beach area. The public beach is quite dirty because locals have family picnics there every evening. The sea is shallow but clean. In the evenings, the hotel lights up, which looks charming. There's a hotel restaurant with plenty of space to sit and enjoy the sea view in the evening.

Quite average, stayed for two nights, there was no hot water in a cabin or a tent. The tent is a bit noisy by the sea and the public bathroom, but the bathroom is quite clean. The cabin has a separate bathroom. The sheets are hand-washed, kind of that...this beach is very convenient to watch the sunrise. Be careful not to try to wash the clothes with clean water, and I don’t know what water is, it turns my white clothes yellow before washing. Just like iron rusting. The only better boss can communicate in a little Chinese is more convenient

This hostel / hotel is amazing! Mosquito nets to sleep, fan, very clean, showers and toilets cleaned every morning. The common area is really nice, net, swing and seats, you have the choice! Direct access for snorkeling and watching the sunset. The manager is very nice as well as the rest of the staff. Very well located!
