Nice scenery from our room, delicious match tea and cookies, comfortable tatami to sleep in. nice and clean public bath, we appreciated the amenities especially the soft cotton. Areas for improvement would be the temperature and humidity, our room was too dry even with the humidifier on; would also be nice to have hand towels and children size causal kimono. Overall, we enjoyed our stay a lot, next time will try the meals."

"Being next to the temple precincts is convenient for those interested in visiting this exceptional Buddhist site. Staying overnight at this hotel during transit is justified if you like excellent food, the opportunity to relax in a hot bath, and rooms decorated in traditional Japanese style. It comes fairly costly, though. From Narita Airport, the taxi fare is about 5,000 JPY (as of August 2026), and you need it both ways. Dinner is high-level Kaiseki Ryōri 懐石料理, which costs 20,000 JPY per person, and breakfast is 5,000 JPY. When you add the room price, this is not negligible. In any case, it is worth the price for those who can appreciate it."

There's a supermarket nearby, which is very convenient for shopping. Plus, there's a bus to the airport every half hour, which is super handy. The hotel was very quiet, which made for a good night's sleep. The only thing I missed was an English-language TV channel. The staff were very polite and allowed me to check in an hour early because my flight arrived very early and I was tired. I also appreciated the free shuttle to the airport. The hotel is conveniently located close to mini markets and several places to eat."

"Absolutely Fantastic Staff, Location, Restaurants, Accommodation, and the Family Store open 24/7. I booked the Deluxe Room on the 10th floor. So much space and room and I loved the toilet had its own space and the bathroom had a full sized bath. Shuttle buses to airport and local shopping precinct with a Huge Aeon Mall and Don Quiote just minutes away. I recommend the Japanese Grill Restaurant which serves the most freshest seafood and local produce. Thank you Narita Gateway Hotel. I will be staying there again on my future trips back to Beautiful Japan."
