Whether you're lying in bed, sitting on the terrace, or relaxing by the window, you get an uninterrupted lake view. Waking up to the crisp birdsong in the morning and drawing back the curtains to reveal the shimmering lake surface was magical. Spending the afternoon sunbathing on the terrace, watching the cloud shadows slowly drift across the lake, all my anxiety and fatigue melted away, healed by this expanse of blue. The room quality was also superb – minimalist yet luxurious decor, soft and skin-friendly bedding, and impeccably clean details made for a comfortable and reassuring stay. The service was absolutely outstanding; attentive and thoughtful throughout our entire stay. They even helped us plan a super hassle-free itinerary, so we had an amazing time without needing to do any research ourselves. Coming to Lugu Lake, staying here truly is an ”immersive getaway.” I highly recommend it to everyone visiting the area!"

"Choosing the Xiwuyu Hotel was the best decision we made for our Lugu Lake trip! The hotel's design beautifully blends Mosuo ethnic style with wabi-sabi aesthetics. Public areas like the spiral staircase and the fireplace nook offer fantastic photo opportunities. The rooms are incredibly well-equipped, featuring underfloor heating, smart toilets, and a wet/dry separation bathroom – a dream for anyone who appreciates attention to detail. The service was absolutely impeccable: the concierge helped us plan our itinerary in advance and booked boat tickets, our luggage was personally delivered to our room, and they even arranged sunrise ginger tea right on time. The breakfast was bountiful and delicious, and the evening dessert soup was wonderfully comforting. With direct access to the food street from the back door and the lake right outside the front, getting around and finding food was incredibly convenient. Our experience was absolutely top-notch; we'll definitely choose Xiwuyu again on our next visit to Lugu Lake!"

"Although the two days of staying were rainy and the temperature was relatively low, the overall experience was still particularly good. The front desk staff was very warm and caring. They helped us adjust the air conditioner in the room to a comfortable temperature in advance. As soon as we entered the door, we felt full of warmth and completely dispersed the outdoor wet and cold. The room itself is clean and tidy, the layout is warm, the living is very comfortable, the overall environment of the hotel is also very elegant, people feel relaxed and at ease. Although I couldn't see the sunrise in the clear sky due to the weather, I opened the window in the early morning and still met the gentle and bright sky at dawn. The clouds revealed a faint shimmer, and there was no beauty of a quiet and healing. Even if the weather is not satisfactory, it does not affect the good mood of the stay at all. The overall experience exceeds expectations. I really recommend it to everyone!"

"This newly opened B&B is incredibly well-appointed. The bedding and furniture in the room exude a fresh, clean feel, and even the bathroom glass is gleaming. Cleanliness is impeccable, with every corner meticulously mopped and the sheets and quilts pristinely white and wrinkle-free. It's a two-minute walk to Lugu Lake, making it incredibly convenient for watching the sunrise in the morning. Upon returning, you can stroll and chat in the courtyard—it's so comfortable, and the air is so fresh. The owner was incredibly helpful, even offering assistance despite our heavy luggage. The B&B has an elevator, which is very convenient. It was a truly comfortable stay. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Lugu Lake!"

"Lugu Lake is arguably my most frequently visited tourist destination, and I make time to stay there for a few days every year during holidays. I usually stay in Daluoshui, but this time I wanted a change, and I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is right by the roadside, but you can see the lake right from the window. The hotel is quite new, with full voice-controlled smart features, and the bedding was very clean, making for a comfortable stay. The front desk staff were also very helpful. The hotel has its own restaurant where you can eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The lake is just a three- to five-minute walk from the hotel, offering beautiful sunsets in the evening and sunrises in the morning. There's a garden between the lake and the hotel area, perfect for a stroll after dinner. There's also a small pier, making it convenient to take a boat tour on the lake. I've heard it's even more beautiful in the summer when the seaweed flowers bloom, and I look forward to seeing them next time I stay."
