"This cave-style guesthouse in Lugu Lake is absolutely stunning! I highly recommend it to anyone visiting for a holiday. The cave room we stayed in was incredibly well-designed, with pure white curved walls and floor-to-ceiling windows. Opening the window reveals the beautiful, shimmering blue waters of Lugu Lake right before your eyes. You can even watch the sunrise and sunset from bed – it's incredibly romantic!
The hygiene details were perfectly handled; the room was clean and tidy, and the soft furnishings were exquisite and high-quality, making for a very comfortable stay. Breakfast was a local specialty set menu, with a great variety and delicious taste, plus a thoughtful late-night sweet soup.
The most commendable aspect was the staff, especially Lao Jia La Mei. From helping with luggage and check-in to recommending travel routes, they were always warm, attentive, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay.
The location is also super convenient. You can walk to the lakeside and the village's restaurants and shops, offering both a peaceful escape from the crowds and easy access to amenities. The value for money is exceptional, and the overall experience far exceeded our expectations. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Lugu Lake."

"Location: The hotel is situated in Nisai Village, right at the foot of Goddess Mountain cable car. It's a bit tucked away, but as we were driving, getting there was convenient. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Overall, it's quite secluded yet well-equipped.
From the hotel, a short walk to the lake shore brings you to Nisai Pier, where you can take a boat, feed seagulls, and even visit the island (Bird Island) – very convenient.
Environment: The lake view is absolutely stunning. The lawn leading from the hotel to the lake is also beautiful, perfect for photos, truly gorgeous.

"The hotel is in a quieter and less busy part of the lake, closer to the big mountain.
Room was very quiet and warm at night in early April. There is a heater in the bathroom so I felt like in a sauna.
The mattress can also be heated on colder days.
They provide a ton of snacks like chocolate, nuts, wafers. We also had afternoon tea once we arrived. Their breakfast is very impressive and not spicy.
There’s no lift but a very nice staff girl 直玛 helped us to carry our bags up and down. We also asked if we can get some snacks for our trip back to Lijiang, and she gave so many rose cakes for free. Very satisfied with the service.
They also picked us up from another hotel on a car."

"Coming here to play in spring is really great. The hotel is in Xiaoluoshui Village, right by the lake. All the flowers are blooming here, it's very beautiful, the sun is nice, and the climate is pleasant. The hotel breakfast was decent, the room was relatively clean, and the duvet and sheets on the bed were quite comfortable, and the pillows were good too."

"The hotel's location is excellent, right in the center of Da Luoshui Village, with its entrance facing Lugu Lake and offering a spectacular open view. The lobby and courtyard are elegantly furnished and impeccably clean, and the staff are warm and courteous. I was particularly touched by a young lady named Erche, who, worried that I, with my poor sense of direction, wouldn't find the hotel, actually walked hundreds of meters to meet me and even offered to carry my heaviest suitcase. It was truly moving.
The hotel rooms and bathrooms are not only spacious but also very clean, equipped with a humidifier and a direct drinking water dispenser. They even brought complimentary Tremella soup in the evening. The service is incredibly thoughtful!"

"I stayed in the parent-child room with my grandma!!! I booked blindly after reading the comments! The joy of opening the blind box is that it is so worth it! There is not much introduction to the room. In addition to what they said, there are also hairbands, independent makeup removal wipes, etc., full of details! "The location is good. There is a lake view right outside the front desk. The room is small and the facilities are old. Mineral water is provided, but there is no toilet paper and toilet seat. It seems that all B&Bs now have them, but this is not important. You can park in the yard of the inn. There are many cars, about a dozen, and there are many people, shouting and yelling, which is a bit noisy. To be honest, I feel that the girl at the front desk is a bit snobbish. My room is cheap, but I didn't feel the enthusiastic service and introduction of other guests. I originally wanted to stay in a lake view room for two days, but I thought about it and left decisively. I'll change to another inn."

"This guesthouse is the absolute best, no question! They have every single disposable amenity you could ask for. After staying in places from Kunming to Dali, this one was by far the most comfortable! It's the first time I've ever seen Shuke toothpaste provided, and it's their 'plus' version! The toothbrush was incredibly soft too! Even the tea bags were branded! Plus, they offer pick-up and drop-off service, and sweet dessert soup in the evenings! What really blew me away was the breakfast! I expected a standard, uninspired buffet like other hotels, but it was amazing! Beautifully plated and a perfectly balanced meal! Oh, I'm so sad I was too busy eating to take photos! When we checked out, the front desk lady even gave us traditional brown sugar as a gift! The clear sky over Lugu Lake was absolutely stunning too! Oh, and the service at Junxiang Xiaoyuan Stone Pot Fish was fantastic, absolutely on par with Haidilao! The staff were so entertaining! Lugu Lake is wonderful! I'll definitely be back!"

"Staying at the Lugu Lake Mosuo Villa was such a wonderful surprise!
The owner is a genuine Mosuo person, incredibly warm and attentive. They provided reserved parking and luggage transfer.
During check-in, they patiently explained the activities and helped us book a traditional pig-trough boat ride to see the morning mist. They even prepared oxygen cylinders for our trip up Goddess Mountain.
The rooms are designed in the original Mosuo style, with views of Lugu Lake and Goddess Mountain right outside the window. The lakeside is just a short walk away, creating a truly immersive atmosphere. There's also a traditional Mosuo house to visit, which is really unique! The breakfast was also delicious.
These two dreamlike days have been amazing; I'm already recommending it to everyone!"

"I wasn't originally planning to stay at this hotel in Lugu Lake. The previous one didn't have adequate heating, so I quickly searched for another place on Trip.com, and to my surprise, I stumbled upon a real gem.
The service was absolutely impeccable. The staff directly helped me transfer my luggage from the previous hotel, saving me a significant amount of time and making my trip incredibly smooth. Knowing I get cold easily, they turned on the heating for me while I was out, and returning to a warm room was genuinely heartwarming. What moved me even more was that a staff member, even after their shift ended late at night, was willing to help me dry my clothes. The next morning, they thoughtfully delivered breakfast to my room.
After checking out, I realized I had left something in my room, and they promptly brought it to me. To receive this level of service at this price point, I honestly wanted to tip them. To every staff member who assisted me, you all worked so hard, and I'm truly grateful for such a wonderful stay.
The room itself was also outstanding. The previous hotel, which was even more expensive, didn't have facilities as complete as this one. The value for money here is truly first-class; the heating is incredibly effective. I could wear just a T-shirt and shorts in the room at night and still feel perfectly warm. The room was clean and comfortable, making for a very reassuring stay.

CCancan33333333I stayed at Tingxia Island when I visited Lugu Lake, and I was absolutely mesmerized the moment I opened the window! The room faces the lake directly, so you can watch the sunset right from your bed. In the afternoon, the sun slowly dips behind the mountains, and the lake transforms from golden to pink to deep blue – it's breathtakingly beautiful. Waking up in the morning, the lake is covered in a thin mist, and the distant mountains are faintly visible, making it feel like living inside a painting.
The room has a green apple scented diffuser, and the subtle fruity fragrance is very pleasant, helping me to sleep incredibly soundly at night. The diffuser on the bedside table was a wonderful touch, really adding to the experience.
The restaurant's terrace is also stunning, facing the lake with a large patch of blue hydrangeas and even a piano, making it perfect for photos. The staff were very warm and friendly, smiling from the moment I checked in until I checked out, and they even helped me with my luggage when I left.
I'll definitely stay here again next time I come to Lugu Lake!

3320771****Our driver was incredibly hardworking, constantly ferrying guests to and from the hotel. Despite the high-intensity work, he remained exceptionally kind and enthusiastic – truly a role model for us mere mortals! One time, we tried walking uphill back to the hotel, and he found us halfway, offering a ride. From then on, he earnestly urged us never to bother walking back ourselves and always to call for a pickup. It really warmed our hearts.
The hotel's location is indeed a bit remote. You can't reach Daluoshui Village in just 3 kilometers. For those doing a lake tour, I recommend finishing in Daluoshui, exploring a bit, and then taking a taxi back. It’s a trade-off between the beautiful semi-mountain views and convenient transportation. The hotel's backyard also offers a lovely scenic spot where you can relax.
Finally, a few minor downsides: breakfast is really not enough, and it's a bit monotonous. If you choose Chinese style, you only get a bowl of rice noodles and nothing else. That grand piano everyone posts pictures of can only be played for two hours a day and *only* if there are no other guests, which basically means you can't play it. The Yamaha grand piano is just for show, which is a shame.

Environment: The view was excellent, directly facing Shennü Mountain.
Service: The staff were friendly and very enthusiastic.
Welcome fruit: Tasted like a Wogan orange, quite sweet.
Minibar: Included Coke, Oriental Leaf tea, and Sam's Club cookies. The Basque cheesecake at afternoon tea was delicious, though I couldn't quite place the flavor. Breakfast was rice noodles plus a Western-style platter. The coffee and drinks were made with a semi-automatic machine, so they tasted decent.
Goodnight milk: I chose mulled wine while watching a movie, paired with freshly baked milk fan (a local specialty) from the hotel. It was very relaxing.

Mmastre_gamerHighly recommended! The hotel has a fantastic view of the lake and has direct access to the board walk. It is at the edge of the San Jia Chun village and it is a short 15min walk to Da Luo Shui village.
The hotel was very comfortable, with a memory foam pillow and a regular one, Projector and indoor heating.
Plus point is that they have 1 dog and 4 cats and super friendly owners.
Will definitely stay again!

Before arriving, the hotel contacted us to send the location. When we arrived, the guy was waiting for us at the door to help us with our luggage. When we checked in, we upgraded the best room type. We can watch the sunrise and the starry sky in the room, and the window view is beautiful
The room is clean and hygienic, with snacks, coffee liquid, eye masks, mosquito repellent, electric mosquito coils, etc. The projection screen is super large, and it is very comfortable to watch TV projection~

The hotel is tastefully designed, with every corner beautifully decorated and thoughtfully curated. I was pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to a lake-view room, and the room cleanliness was absolutely top-notch.
The view is truly stunning — there is an unobstructed, direct view of Lugu Lake, and 蒗放码头 is located right in front of the hotel, making the location incredibly convenient. At night, I could see a sky full of stars directly from my room, which felt truly magical.
Every detail in the room felt well considered and intentional. The room was also very comfortable in winter, with floor heating and a Dyson hair dryer, which made a huge difference during the colder days.
During afternoon tea time, the hotel served a lovely afternoon tea set, and sitting in the backyard while enjoying the lake view became one of the most relaxing and memorable moments of my entire trip.
Upon checkout, the staff thoughtfully prepared breakfast to go and gifted me some souvenirs, which was a very warm and touching gesture. They also helped recommend a reliable driver who took me back to Dali in a comfortable 9-seater car, making the journey smooth and stress-free.
The owner is a beautiful and kind lady, and her dog Lucky, an adorable corgi, is an absolute delight. The staff were all genuinely friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout my stay.

GGuest UserStepping into the room, I was immediately greeted by a delightful fragrance, perfectly setting the mood. The amenities were incredibly comprehensive; given how dry Lijiang's weather can be, the hotel thoughtfully provided a large Xiaomi humidifier and even makeup remover wipes – they really understand what women need! I had originally booked a standard double room, but the staff kindly upgraded me to a 270° panoramic double room free of charge. The view was absolutely stunning, and the scenery was incredibly beautiful and perfect for photos 📸. They also included complimentary pick-up and drop-off service, and the staff were warm, attentive, and responsive to every request. The breakfast was rich and delicious, and there was even afternoon tea. The fruit tarts and coffee completely won me over ☕. I truly adored the meticulous service, down to every detail. This hotel is definitely on my list for a second visit – I'll be back!

AAimabushiaimaThe most satisfying homestay in Yunnan. The facilities are all top-notch. Ctrip gave me an upgraded room type. I actually stayed in the Goddess Mountain Room, the best one. The view from the big balcony is amazing. I can't get enough of it sitting on the balcony for a whole day. There are sunrises, sunsets, blue skies, and sparkling lakes. I felt that Erhai Lake in Dali was very commercialized two days ago. There are few people here and the scenery is beautiful. I feel that the whole Lugu Lake belongs to me. The hotel is in Sanjia Village. There is a 2-kilometer lakeside trail to Daluoshui Village. It is very comfortable to walk. It is completely different from the Erhai Trail. There are very few people. I originally planned to walk to Daluoshui Village for a meal and then let the hotel drive back, but in the end I walked back by myself. I really like the feeling of walking by the lake in the evening. The white fungus soup in the evening is also very delicious. I was already very full and drank it all. The coffee made by my sister is also great according to the reviews, but the schedule is a bit tight and I didn't have the chance to drink it. I want to drink it next time I come~
The next day, I heard the driver around the lake say that the highway from Lijiang to Lugu Lake is under construction. Once it is completed, it will only take 1.5 hours to get there, and there is no need to take the winding mountain road. That's really great~

CClarissa TangWe had a comfortable stay here, breakfast was provided and beds were comfortable. You walk out and you are facing the Lugu lake too! A beautiful site.
Only thing was that towels provided were disposable, and some room lights needed fixing.
Hosts are really friendly and reply WeChat timely.
There isn’t an elevator on the facilities and you might initially think you arrive at the wrong place when you arrive by car.
You would need to walk through a backyard of a local house before you reach the accoms.
They do ask for feedback about your stay which I really appreciate. And they have explained some concepts after my feedback. I think this is a nice accoms to consider for your stay. They do adjust their amenities according to past feedback too. Family room was kind of fun!
