During our trip to Lugu Lake, Chenchen thoughtfully arranged an afternoon tea for us, choosing a spot with an excellent view. He also took us to discover many interesting places, patiently answered all our questions, and helped us book a fantastic pig-trough boat experience. From our first meeting until check-out, he enthusiastically assisted us with all kinds of matters. His professionalism and dedication left a deep impression on me and my husband, creating many wonderful memories and making our entire stay perfect. In my opinion, the facilities, hygiene, and environment of this hotel at Lugu Lake are truly top-notch, without exaggeration, it's unequivocally the best in my heart. The hotel boasts a unique geographical location, directly facing Goddess Bay of Lugu Lake, enjoying the most captivating scenery of the entire lake area. Opening the window reveals picturesque lake and mountain views; misty mornings and evenings bathed in sunset glow create an immersive ambiance, with every frame captivating the senses. The room design is equally impressive; from the bedding to the overall decor, every detail reveals careful consideration. The bedding is made from premium materials, soft and skin-friendly, providing an extremely comfortable sleep that ensures a restful night and dispels all fatigue. The hotel's overall environment and every detail within the rooms have been meticulously refined – the color temperature of the lighting, the tactile feel of materials, the spatial layout, and even that small corner by the window perfect for quiet contemplation, all exude a restrained yet warm aesthetic, detailed but never contrived. On the service front, every staff member displayed a high level of professionalism, being attentive and considerate while maintaining appropriate boundaries, making guests genuinely feel cared for and at ease. The tour programs offered by the hotel are also outstanding, with well-designed itineraries and diverse, enriching experiences. From lake tours to hiking, boat rides to cultural explorations, each activity ensured an enjoyable return, greatly enhancing the quality of the trip. Even more noteworthy is that the hotel group owns several excellent restaurants, not just within the hotel premises but distributed across various areas of Lugu Lake. The food quality remains consistently high, demonstrating their strong operational capabilities and brand strength. Guests can enjoy their well-prepared or recommended delicious meals in a large part of the scenic area, which is a rare find in a tourist destination. Having traveled and stayed in numerous hotels across the country, I can honestly say that this hotel has reached a top-tier standard in China in my eyes. Whether it's the hardware facilities, environmental ambiance, service details, or the completeness of dining quality and travel experience, it is on par with any excellent hotel I have ever stayed in. It deserves my most sincere praise and high recommendation, was the most pleasant discovery of my Lugu Lake trip, and is my definite recommendation for all friends in the future.

Another absolute gem in Yunnan. The price is relatively affordable and all you get for it is totally worth it. The views outward the hotel lobby is stunning and the decor of the interior is very cozy and fitting. You have a full view of the lake from the front unobstructed. Rooms have everything basic and more. Relatively spacious and decorated very extensively, cozy and comfortable setting and bed. Nice setup in the bathroom area and shower is spacious. Toilet with automated bidet is also nice. For those who like bathing there is a bath with mountainside views and bath salts/supplies given. The AI and automated curtains add a nice touch, though this one is more primitive than xiaodu. Staff were very kind and helpful，offered to drop me off at the bus stop and served dessert at night.

Some hotels give you a five-star experience from the moment you check in, while others start off just okay and then gradually earn their five stars. Qi Man belongs to the latter. To be honest, Qi Man wasn't the hotel I was looking for. Initially, I just wanted to find a highly-rated, clean, and pet-friendly hotel in Lijiang. When I saw Qi Man had the highest rating and best reviews, I booked it. It was only when I was driving there that I realized it wasn't near Lijiang city but rather in Lugu Lake. To my surprise, there was even an entrance fee to stay in Lugu Lake, and I almost turned back. Upon arrival, we couldn't park directly in front of the hotel. Although the hotel provided shuttle service back and forth, it was still quite inconvenient. Also, when I entered the room, there was a smell of smoke from the headboard. However, the hotel staff's service attitude eased my anxiety and frustration, making me willing to stay for one night. If I had left the next day, I probably would have given Qi Man a quite low rating. But on the second day, seeing the scenery of Lugu Lake, the backyard of Qi Man, and the swaying tree shadows, I suddenly felt much better. The staff were friendly, there were many kittens in the backyard, and also fruit trees. The entire hotel design was also thoughtfully done. Because of this, I didn't regret staying for a few days as planned and even extended my stay for a few more days. If I had left on the third day, I would have definitely given Qi Man a five-star rating. Unfortunately, on the fourth day, someone was smoking on the balcony. Qi Man's design is excellent, and the lake views are fantastic. Sitting on the balcony with a coffee, enjoying the cool breeze and the lake and mountain scenery, is pure bliss – but not when you're inhaling second-hand smoke, which also drifts into the room. So, I can't give five stars for hygiene.

Absolutely brilliant hotel. Probably the only place in Lugu lake where foreigners could stay. The young staff have limited English but more than make up for it with their level of service and the translator app. They even set up a groups chat in WeChat just to advise us and ensure we were in touch. Location is great (except for the fact that there’s the road below the hotel) Hotel itself is brilliant. Phenomenal rooms. Great meals. Very personal touch and an ever willing / cheerful / helpful group of very competent youngsters managing. The whole crew looked under 30 but did a great job. Was an absolute pity we only stayed 2 nights. Next time a week at least! Definitely coming back.

The hotel boasts excellent design, and the staff are incredibly warm and attentive, making you feel right at home! Our room had a breathtaking view of Lugu Lake; we could open the window and see it, and it was just a short walk to the lakeside where we could even take a 'pig trough boat.' The owner is a local Mosuo person, very polite and hospitable. We also got to visit their unique grandmother's house. Getting to Mount Gemu Goddess was also very convenient, and we even asked the owner for travel tips. The cleanliness was exceptional, truly a five-star cleaning experience. There wasn't a speck of dust anywhere, the glass was sparkling clean without any fingerprints. The bathroom fixtures were TOTO brand, and the bedding was high-end and very comfortable! The breakfast was delicious and exquisite! The morning mist over Lugu Lake is truly beautiful! I highly recommend this place to everyone!

Facing the lake at Daluoshui, the view is superb and the area is very quiet. The loft duplex room is spacious with a fantastic panoramic view from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The room itself is clean and tidy, with all necessary amenities. The staff are friendly and responsive to any issues. The guesthouse offers afternoon tea and a sweet nightcap before bed. It's just a short walk downstairs to the lakeside path, making it convenient for sightseeing and dining. A really great stay, highly recommended!

I'm quite particular about my living environment. I usually stay in hotels when I travel, but since there really aren't any hotels in Lugu Lake, I chose this guesthouse after a lot of comparison. I was quite apprehensive before checking in, but to my surprise, the environment far exceeded my expectations. First of all, the lobby, restaurant, and rooms were all extremely clean and tidy, even better than the pictures online. All the furniture felt high-quality, and you could tell a lot of money was invested in the decor. Secondly, and what I care about most, is the hygiene. There was hardly any dust in the room, and even the hard-to-reach spots were cleaned thoroughly. The inside of the bathtub was smooth; I ran my hand along it, and there was no dead skin or dust, which shows how meticulous the cleaning was. Furthermore, I paid close attention to the softness of the toothbrushes, the thickness of the slippers, the variety of breakfast, the skin-friendliness of the bedding, and whether the pillows supported the neck. All of these aspects were comparable to or even better than H World Group hotels. There were no water stains on the mirror either. It offered the cleanliness of a hotel with the scenic beauty of a guesthouse – an excellent experience. Finally, the room also included complimentary face masks and steam eye masks, which was a pleasant surprise. The owner is very generous and clearly puts a lot of effort into running the place. On our way here, the driver told us that this is the most popular accommodation in Lugu Lake, with people coming and going every day. After staying here, the experience definitely lives up to its popularity. Compared to a guesthouse we stayed at in Yangshuo, which cost 1.5 times more, the experience there was significantly worse. The room was very spacious and clean, with excellent amenities including a smart toilet, hairdryer, kettle, and disposable toilet seat covers, making our stay very comfortable. It even came equipped with a washing machine and dryer, which was perfect as we were able to wash all our clothes during our two-day stay at Lugu Lake. The bedding was incredibly comfortable. The pillows for resting our heads were just the right height, and the soft bolster pillows were very plush. It was truly Atour-level quality, excellent! The toiletries were also great. My family is always concerned about hotel hygiene, but here we felt completely at ease sleeping without needing to use our own disposable bedding. The guesthouse's location is superb, very close to Lugu Lake. We could just walk through the courtyard straight to the lakeside, which was incredibly convenient for watching the sunrise in the morning and taking a stroll in the evening. The hotel service was exceptionally thoughtful. The afternoon tea was delicious with a generous selection of pastries, and they were happy to bring more if we requested. They also offered pick-up and drop-off services with a very nice vehicle, and helped with our luggage. The service attitude was truly outstanding.

Originally we wanted to stay in Dashuoshui. After arriving at Lugu Lake, we went to Dashui for a walk. It was too noisy for us. Sanjia Village is a good choice, with convenient transportation and quietness amidst the bustle. We visited the B&B first and then made a reservation. The rooms were no different from the ones advertised in the pictures. The facilities were complete and clean. The projectors and smart toilets all worked well. The boss was very nice. He chatted with us, recommended places to play, and protected us from lightning. They also turned on the air conditioner for us in advance, which was very considerate. You can see the lake when you open the curtains in the room. The view from the B&B is very good. The breakfast is very rich, much better than what we spent 15 yuan to eat outside. Not only is the view of the lake great, there is also a wetland park outside which is great for walking. There is also a kitten in the store who is very friendly and cute.

The lake view is absolutely stunning! Breakfast was served promptly and was very tasty. Taking a hot spring bath was particularly comfortable – pure bliss! We booked rooms with private hot tubs for both nights, which was incredibly relaxing. The place was also very clean. Plus, there's a street full of eateries right out the back door, making it super convenient to stay here in Daluoshui Village.
