"The apartment is absolutely impeccable in terms of style and attention to detail. A huge thank you for the washing machine with a dryer – it was a real lifesaver for my mom; we freshened up all our clothes in a couple of hours. The only thing to note for future stays: for four nights, we were a little short on towels (though I quickly solved that by doing a load of laundry). And a small tip for the hosts – a broom and dustpan or a lightweight vacuum in the entryway would be very helpful. We tried to wash our feet after the beach, but sand and dust still get tracked in from shoes, and there’s no way to clean it up. Otherwise, we were absolutely delighted!"

"This Hilton resort, newly opened in April '26, offers excellent value for money compared to the Ritz-Carlton and Four Seasons on the island, at less than half the price! It's located near Oriental Village, a 20-minute taxi ride from the airport. Getting to Cenang Beach takes about half an hour by taxi from the hotel, but honestly, once you've seen Cenang, you probably won't want to leave the resort anyway. The hotel boasts a gorgeous beach-style swimming pool, and the private beach is also large, beautiful, and very clean! The pool is divided into a children's pool and a family pool. There are sun loungers both by the pool and on the beach. I felt like I spent half my time just lounging by the pool! There are three restaurants at the hotel. The breakfast restaurant, Ginger Fire, is on the ground floor. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but the ingredients are fresh and quite good! There's also an Italian restaurant and a Chinese restaurant. I tried the Italian place, which mainly served pizzas, risottos, and pasta. It wasn't particularly amazing, but not bad either. I didn't try the Chinese restaurant. The hotel gym is pretty good, with excellent equipment, even a Pilates reformer. I went every morning around 7 AM and it was practically empty. The hotel also offers some activities, like beach stretching at 7 AM (though the instructor seemed like some random guy, very unprofessional, more about setting a mood). I didn't join other activities, but it felt like most guests here just relaxed by the pool, doing their own thing. Since it's newly opened and hasn't been heavily promoted in China, we encountered very few Chinese tourists, which probably explains why the prices haven't been inflated yet. The transportation here isn't the most convenient, but honestly, the main beach area in Langkawi or Kuah Town can be quite dirty and run-down. So, being a bit secluded with fewer people and beautiful scenery is actually quite nice! The hotel is new, and there are plenty of staff who are generally friendly, but some service details still need improvement. For example, there's no non-slip mat in the bathroom, and the front desk sometimes messes up booking information (e.g., they told me my booking was for two people when I had paid for three breakfasts, and I had to show them my confirmation!). Regarding bookings: I received two different responses via email about children staying at the hotel! One email said that for a 13-year-old child, it would be an additional 150 MYR (including an extra bed and breakfast, and the price was the same even without an extra bed). Another email replied that a 13-year-old child could stay for free, only needing to pay for the child's breakfast. In the end, I booked through a travel platform, directly reserving for three people with breakfast but no extra bed. "Great stay in Langkawi! The unit was clean, modern and very comfortable. Everything felt new and well maintained, and the room had all the facilities needed for a relaxing stay. The location is excellent, with the beach, restaurants, shops and attractions all within easy reach. The swimming pool was definitely one of the highlights, with a beautiful view and a great atmosphere. Check-in was also smooth and hassle-free. Overall, a very pleasant stay and great value for money. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Langkawi!"

"This hotel I booked in Langkawi is located about 1km from Kuah Town center. Many shops nearby were closed, I'm not sure if it's because it's the off-season or if Langkawi has declined over the past few years. The hotel cost over 200 a night and is new, but the facilities are a bit like a budget chain hotel with a pool. There were a lot of dusty corners in the hallways, but the room itself was quite clean. There are many breakfast spots and seafood restaurants around. It's also next to an elementary school, which makes the area feel safe. Overall, considering the very nice pool and the reasonable price of just over 200, I'm generally satisfied."

"I had a great experience overall. The place is very new, and the sea view from the room is fantastic. It's right next to the beach, so you can walk straight there. The bed was super comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The fridge was usable, and having a water dispenser, so I didn't need to boil water myself, was a huge plus. There's also an oven and an induction hob, perfect for cooking your own meals, and all the cutlery and dishes are provided. The bathroom is large with a separate wet and dry area. If I had to mention any downsides, it's that the apartment building is quite new, so there was a slight formaldehyde smell in the hallway, but I expect that to dissipate over time. Also, since it's a self-check-in, there's no luggage storage service, which made planning my afternoon after check-out a bit difficult. However, all in all, my stay was very comfortable and convenient, right by Cenang Beach. I highly recommend it."

"I came Langkawi for business trip purposes. Coincidence found this new open motel just rightfully near to Pantai Cenang about 8 mins for my work trip. And I really like the room design is very cozy and comfortable. The wardrobe design is very convenient for me to storage my luggage and the wardrobe also is just nice 😊 Beside Fat Mom actually is just beside the Billion,most importantly I can buy some light food to cook in their shared kitchen. Will come back to book here for my trip again ❤️"

"Thank you to the host for your warm hospitality. This is my first time arriving in Malaysia, and I came directly to Langkawi. I was a bit anxious at first, but the host couple are extremely kind and friendly. Although the location is slightly remote, getting around with Grab is really convenient, and it is close to the Telaga harbour. I think it is an good accommodation option for a stopover when traveling to Koh Lipe."

"We rented a two-bedroom apartment with my family. The living room and master bedroom offer a partial sea view. However, the second bedroom's window faces some kind of shaft, making it constantly dark. The location is simply excellent! When we checked in, it was a bit dusty, so I had to wipe down the surfaces myself. There was nowhere to sit on the balcony, so we had to bring chairs from the living room. Everything is equipped for 4 people. There's a washing machine, slippers, and toothbrushes. The pool and lounge area are on the 8th floor. The infinity pool has a very beautiful view, but it's not deep. The lounge area has billiards, table tennis, and a children's play area. There's construction happening nearby. It didn't bother us much. But they built a tall building. We were on the 21st floor, so our view wasn't blocked. However, if you're on a lower floor, you might not see anything but that building. Suggestions: 1. A drying rack is really needed, as there's nowhere to dry wet clothes. 2. It would be nice to have some dish soap and salt. 3. For cookware, there was a frying pan and a small saucepan. We'd appreciate a larger pot, for example, to boil pasta, and a proper flat spatula."
