GGuest UserThis hotel in Chongzuo is truly a hidden gem and absolutely worth it! ✨
The environment is incredible, surrounded by lush greenery, making it incredibly healing and relaxing.
The breakfast is both beautiful and delicious, I looked forward to it every morning and was always super satisfied.
Even though the room rate is a bit on the higher side, the experience makes it completely worth every penny. There are so many free activities daily, staying for 4 days felt anything but boring. It's not just for families; even adults without kids can have a fantastic time here.
I've already recommended it to friends with children – it's a great place to bring the kids.
And a huge shoutout to our butler, Doris! She was incredibly thoughtful and professional. She reached out before we even checked in, and was always responsive to all our requests throughout our stay. Her service was outstanding!
Having such an amazing butler truly elevated our travel experience. I'll definitely be back!

GGuest UserClean and modern facilities with friendly service staff. Perfect place for a chillax holiday away from the bustling city life. While choices are simple, it's unlimited breakfast refill if you'll like an extra corn or sausage, porridge or noodle + big, fresh fruits. I feel healthy & rejuvenated with the local foods, fresh air, while being surrounded by mountains that pop out of Chinese paintings.

The hotel owner, Shaowei was there to help us in every possible way. She brought us to see the panoramic view of Mingshi Tianyuan with her own expenses. She also took us to another place to watch native people’s dance, sing and bonfire after dinner. She also helped me to catch a local bus to another town. Her kindness was simply beyond my expectations. If I come back to Mingshi, the reason will be not the town itself, but Shaowei.
2. Flawless cleanness
Everything looked to be built just now. Clean, comfortable and tidy. No smell of cigarette or whatsoever.
3. Decent breakfast
Breakfast is simple but the taste is good. You can enjoy rice noodle, rice porridge and fruits with good tea and soy milk.
4. Great location
The hotel is located close to the bus station and you can get on any local bus passing by easily. Good restaurants are everywhere nearby as well.

It's very close to the town's pedestrian street, where you can find breakfast and local specialties. The owners are very friendly, the food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe area is beautiful. The tent and tent area are very nice. My kids loved it! The receptionist Li Lin 李霖 and the rest of the team are very nice and helpful. Beds are comfortable. The pillow was too high for me, but my husband didn’t complain. If you are light and sound sensitive when sleeping, then bring earplugs and sleeping eye mask, because is a tent, of course. The tent I booked was very comfortable in size for two adults and two kids. It had two queen beds and one single bed. There is tv and amenities (shampoo&Co, toothbrush, shaving kit, hair dryer). Breakfast was Chinese style buffet, which we are happy with. The restaurant belongs to another hotel in the same area (there are several hotels in that park). You can order bbq set. Nice quality meat and veggies. I would recommend this camping area for any family with kids. There is a playground area as well and is nice to walk through the trees.

AAimaoxiandeyayaHey Shanghainese folks, listen up! It's only a few hundred meters from the actual main entrance, but for lazy people, it might be a bit of a trek. You can drive there, and parking is 30 RMB. The guesthouse itself is really great – clean and relatively quiet! It's the tallest and largest guesthouse around, standing out from the ones on either side, so the views are unobstructed. During the National Day holiday, things were busy, but the landlady kept her cool and was super responsive to everything, which I really appreciated. Honestly, after looking around this trip, the service here was better than other so-called high-end guesthouses. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. There's parking right outside. I didn't have the landlady buy the 80 RMB tickets for me because she couldn't get them until 8:30 AM, and the scenic area opens at 7:30 AM. I bought my 110 RMB ticket online directly and was the first one through the gates on National Day. By 9 AM, when I was done and leaving, the peak crowds were just arriving. Then I went back to the guesthouse, took a shower, had some noodles, and relaxed watching a Vietnamese drama – pretty sweet!

WWuliaodelanThe hotel's biggest plus is its proximity to Detian Waterfall. The facilities are a bit dated, and while there's a small street-side courtyard for parking, spots are limited and often taken by tour buses. Soundproofing in the rooms is poor; you can clearly hear conversations in the hallway. It often feels chaotic due to large tour groups staying there. The backyard, however, is a highlight – it's spacious with plenty of amenities for kids. Service is just okay; when we asked for an extra blanket, the staff initially tried to make excuses. The view across from the hotel is excellent and largely unobstructed, which is a definite bonus. Overall, it's decent. Considering it's a hotel in a local town, you need to lower your expectations a bit, but given the affordable price, it offers good value for money.

CCheng Soi LaiThe location is good. Just 300 metres to the official Mingshi scenic area and the Tourist Centre. There are shuttle buses at the Tourist Centre to Detian Waterfall every day at 8.30 am, 12 pm, and 4 pm at 15 Yuan per person. There are also return shuttle buses from Detian Waterfall to Mingshi.
Staying at Kongshan Xiaozhu, we can enter the official Mingshi scenic area for the 8pm night performance by showing the card given to us by the boss.
Travelling to Kongshan Xiaozhu is very convenient by coach from Nanning Xixiangtang Bus Station. The driver will drop you at the roadside just 1 min walk to Kongshan Xiaozhu. Return to Nanning is also the same. The driver will pick you up at the roadside.

You’ll arrive right as the people who have to bus in arrive but if you’re not in a group you can get ahead of everyone and enjoy the park and be on your way around noon
