33193****1. LUX* Resort is situated on a secluded island, completely cut off from the outside world. It faces vast, unfamiliar farmland with a winding river where egrets skim the water, and distant mountains meander in the background.
2. LUX* operates entirely on a 'Maldives' resort model; the number of staff likely exceeds the number of guests, providing a high-quality service experience.
3. The dining quality is excellent, with top-notch dishes. Breakfast offers both buffet and à la carte options.
4. I suggest the hotel treat the butler lady a bit better; haha; a little more enthusiasm from her would make it absolutely perfect.

GGuest UserFrom the moment I stepped into this guesthouse, I was captivated by the lobby's decor: minimalist and elegant, rustic yet stylish! A quick chat with the charming owner immediately conveyed her warmth and trustworthiness. The room, equipped with two single beds and one large double bed, is perfectly set up for family travel – they truly understand what families need! Breakfast was nutritious, healthy, and deliciously varied. The 'auntie' serving it was incredibly warm, making us feel right at home, like part of the family! There's also a self-service laundry room. All in all, this is a guesthouse that is absolutely worth looking forward to and can be completely relied upon. 👍👍👍

GGuest UserWe extended our stay from before and we had another 3 days vey pleasant stay. As already mentioned in our recent review all was perfect. There are only a very few local restaurants around, but the Lu Lin restaurant in the middle of the two hotel buildings served us every evening with very good and delicious local food. A special thanks to the small family restaurant Lu Lin!

AAmei27I was so lucky to stay at Yijun Homestay during my trip to Chongzuo! I have to highly recommend it!
The homestay has a fantastic location, right on the main street of Shuolong Town, near the gate, making transportation very convenient. It's also close to attractions like Detian Waterfall and Mingshi Pastoral Area, making it easy to start your sightseeing. Facing Vietnam, you can experience its unique culture and customs, while nestled against the mountains, offering stunning natural scenery. It's perfect for taking amazing photos. The owners and staff were incredibly helpful, and I especially want to praise their cooking – the lunches and dinners were exquisite and delicious, creating a truly relaxing vacation atmosphere! The rooms were clean and tidy, thoughtfully decorated, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, making for a very comfortable stay.
Whether it's a family trip, a romantic getaway, or a solo trip, Yijun Homestay is an excellent choice. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Chongzuo!

WWandianbuchiyexiaoHighly recommend! It's just a few hundred meters from the waterfall! There's also a Vietnamese market nearby that's worth checking out! The room facilities are very complete, especially the lake-view rooms! Absolutely beautiful! The proprietress is super nice! You can have breakfast and lunch on the first floor! I suggest eating downstairs instead of at the scenic spot, as it's tastier and the portions are generous! They also have Vietnamese specialties on the first floor! I compared prices, and it's a bit more expensive inside the scenic area!!! Parking is very convenient! Choose this place, choose it!

TTravelwULove at first sight. The view from our rooms was beautiful. The rooms were tastefully furnished. The beds were very comfortable. Clean sheets and towels. Modern amenities. The automatic toilet bowl was amazing. I wished I had one at home in Malaysia. We enjoyed the breakfasts. I am good with the healthy options and free flow of soy milk. I suggest using the ceramic bowl for the hot soy milk instead of the plastic bowls provided. Do bring your own hot water flask. Hot water dispenser available.We had all our meals in the hotel. The food was delicious. Do try the free range chicken with mushroom soup. Very comforting. Our morning walk in the village was lovely. Plenty of vegetable farms. Mr. Wei, the manager was very attentive and friendly. He offered to ferry us to Detian waterfalls for a fee as there were no taxi or e-hailing. Overall, we had a pleasant and wonderful two day stay. Highly recommended.
PS. Do close the two small windows behind the curtains for better noise insulation.

EEatPrayTravelLocation of hotel is very convenient for travelers who take the tourist bus from either Chungzuo, Nanning or from Detian waterfalls scenic area. The room we booked had a nice view of the fields and karst mountains. What a beautiful sight to behold indeed. During the day, it can get noisy with all the comings and goings in the village and all around but at night, it was very quiet. The rooftop terrace was very nice and not busy when we were there. Breakfast was enjoyable with steamed buns, corn, soup noodles and boiled sweet potatoes- a healthy start for a very busy day. The very nice lady in charge of breakfast offered us breakfast on our check in day (we arrived at 10:30) and made sure we had enough to eat before sending us off to explore! We had never met a B&B operator who was so caring and generous. On our check out day, even though she was still busy with guests, she rushed out to bid us a fond farewell and a safe onward trip. Front desk and cleaning team were all very friendly, always smiling and helpful. All in all, a very warm and pleasant stay at Mingshi Scenic Area.

GGuest UserIt should be a better hotel in the town. The boss also helped me buy tickets at the distribution center the next day. I stayed there for two days. The area around the hotel is quite lively and there are many places to eat.

BBasidiqieliWe initially hesitated to book this hotel after seeing reviews that mentioned outdated facilities. However, upon checking in, we were immediately and pleasantly surprised by several things: the thoughtful shuttle service from the hotel staff, the picturesque surroundings, the ethnic-style decor in our room, and the well-maintained facilities – which were far from old! Our family instantly felt we had made the absolute right choice. We also received complimentary fruits and souvenir tea upon check-in. In the evenings, we could enjoy performances, and the Fish Scale Dam was just a short walk away. Everything was simply wonderful! We're so glad we decided to come to Chongzuo, Mingshi Pastoral, and this resort! This entire trip was truly memorable and left us longing to return.

GGuest UserThe hotel is a little far from Chongzuo but you can hire a Didi for about 380RMB from the chongzuo train station. The hotel is located in a beautiful park where you can take a walk and see the 100 doors (I think it was called) and walk all the way to the border post 3. It's was surreal. Across the river you can see Vietnamese house and people. we waved. a drone showed up we left. To go to the waterfall we walked from the hotel to the tourist center. About a 45 minute walk. Not bad once you get there.
The hotel is old and starting to show the tear. You can tell it was once great but no renovations have been made in forever. The carpet had stains on it. not tiny ones. The little mini balcony was dusty. The bed was big but on the hard side. The towels are frazzling it was unbelievable. The breakfast , if you are not full on on Chinese breakfast its a no no. AND no coffee EVEN though the COFFEE MACHINE looked like it had just been plugged off. sign sating being fixed. come on .It's a 4 diamond rating but it felt more like 2. It's also smaller than it links in the video and pics. There's an awesome restaurant at the entrance on the right. It made a whole lotta difference. Highly reccomend eating here. And we did!Twice. Food was not bad. definitely order the ribs. The staff is nice especially the restaurant lady.
