WeChat messages were always answered instantly, and requests were met without delay. As a top-tier wild luxury hotel that's often fully booked year-round, I was thrilled to snag a room during the May Day holiday. Bringing my family for a vacation, the hotel's secluded location instantly washed away all our fatigue. During our stay, Butler Jolly meticulously arranged various activities for us, including bamboo raft afternoon tea, countryside cycling, and starlit spa treatments. She also perfectly coordinated restaurant reservations and transportation. Even last-minute small requests were handled efficiently and promptly, demonstrating both professionalism and heartfelt care. Their service never felt like a rigid, process-driven interaction; instead, it was genuine and attentive from the heart. With mountains and rivers as its backdrop and luxury as its companion, LUX* Chongzuo Guangxi Resort, built upon stunning natural beauty and animated by exquisite service, is a secluded paradise worth returning to again and again. It's the ultimate hotel for a private, healing escape from the daily grind. I even managed to capture some 'life-defining' photos here. The room itself was astonishing; the balcony was so spacious you could dance on it, and every window offered a scenic masterpiece.

It's very close to the town's pedestrian street, where you can find breakfast and local specialties. The owners are very friendly, the food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommended!

PPuddytat1. Amazing hospitality. The hotel owner, Shaowei was there to help us in every possible way. She brought us to see the panoramic view of Mingshi Tianyuan with her own expenses. She also took us to another place to watch native people’s dance, sing and bonfire after dinner. She also helped me to catch a local bus to another town. Her kindness was simply beyond my expectations. If I come back to Mingshi, the reason will be not the town itself, but Shaowei. 2. Flawless cleanness Everything looked to be built just now. Clean, comfortable and tidy. No smell of cigarette or whatsoever. 3. Decent breakfast Breakfast is simple but the taste is good. You can enjoy rice noodle, rice porridge and fruits with good tea and soy milk. 4. Great location The hotel is located close to the bus station and you can get on any local bus passing by easily. Good restaurants are everywhere nearby as well. Thank you so much for all the help and care. I really wish to meet you again.

AAimaoxiandeyayaHey Shanghainese folks, listen up! It's only a few hundred meters from the actual main entrance, but for lazy people, it might be a bit of a trek. You can drive there, and parking is 30 RMB. The guesthouse itself is really great – clean and relatively quiet! It's the tallest and largest guesthouse around, standing out from the ones on either side, so the views are unobstructed. During the National Day holiday, things were busy, but the landlady kept her cool and was super responsive to everything, which I really appreciated. Honestly, after looking around this trip, the service here was better than other so-called high-end guesthouses. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. There's parking right outside. I didn't have the landlady buy the 80 RMB tickets for me because she couldn't get them until 8:30 AM, and the scenic area opens at 7:30 AM. I bought my 110 RMB ticket online directly and was the first one through the gates on National Day. By 9 AM, when I was done and leaving, the peak crowds were just arriving. Then I went back to the guesthouse, took a shower, had some noodles, and relaxed watching a Vietnamese drama – pretty sweet!

GGuest User1. The service was absolutely fantastic, from the front desk staff to the cleaning aunties. Their warmth felt genuinely sincere, not just a professional facade. 2. The environment is great, with a very large backyard that includes playground facilities, a swimming pool, a cinema, and relaxation areas. My child particularly loved the table football and played for a long time, having a blast. 3. The scenery is beautiful; just by opening the curtains, you're greeted with karst topography. Sitting on the windowsill, enjoying the view, and having a short rest, I could easily spend an entire afternoon there.

GGuest UserThe day I stayed, Tian Shan Zhuang was fully booked, so I was really glad I chose Ming Shi Mountain Villa instead. If you're planning to book here, make sure to do it early! The location inside the scenic area is unbeatable, making it much quieter than hotels outside on the main street. The rooms on the second floor have a shared corridor where you can sit and have tea, which is perfect for families traveling together. Since the hotel is right inside the scenic area, it's incredibly convenient to get around, and there are even separate security-controlled entrances where you just show your room card to go in and out. We opted for the package that included a bamboo raft experience. I personally found this raft trip more comfortable than the ones in Guilin – our whole family fit perfectly on one raft. Sipping tea and enjoying the scenery was incredibly relaxing, and there were even interactive spots along the way, which was a nice surprise. The older folks especially loved it. In the evening, the hotel also hosted a bonfire party, which had a lively atmosphere filled with laughter. It was a wonderful experience all around.

GGuest UserGenerally not evaluated, but I feel very good. In the newly opened homestay, we booked two rooms for two nights. The scenery outside the window was very good. The twin rooms on the second floor and the third floor were all floor-to-ceiling windows. The big bed room on the fourth floor had a balcony and I liked it very much. The price was right. The owner of the hotel is very good, and the situation is solved in time. They also opened a drink stall downstairs and sent us juice. I have introduced my friends, the door is the fish scale dam, and the night market stall is downstairs. convenient.

CCheng Soi LaiThe location is good. Just 300 metres to the official Mingshi scenic area and the Tourist Centre. There are shuttle buses at the Tourist Centre to Detian Waterfall every day at 8.30 am, 12 pm, and 4 pm at 15 Yuan per person. There are also return shuttle buses from Detian Waterfall to Mingshi. Staying at Kongshan Xiaozhu, we can enter the official Mingshi scenic area for the 8pm night performance by showing the card given to us by the boss. Travelling to Kongshan Xiaozhu is very convenient by coach from Nanning Xixiangtang Bus Station. The driver will drop you at the roadside just 1 min walk to Kongshan Xiaozhu. Return to Nanning is also the same. The driver will pick you up at the roadside.

GGuest UserThe hotel is a little far from Chongzuo but you can hire a Didi for about 380RMB from the chongzuo train station. The hotel is located in a beautiful park where you can take a walk and see the 100 doors (I think it was called) and walk all the way to the border post 3. It's was surreal. Across the river you can see Vietnamese house and people. we waved. a drone showed up we left. To go to the waterfall we walked from the hotel to the tourist center. About a 45 minute walk. Not bad once you get there. The hotel is old and starting to show the tear. You can tell it was once great but no renovations have been made in forever. The carpet had stains on it. not tiny ones. The little mini balcony was dusty. The bed was big but on the hard side. The towels are frazzling it was unbelievable. The breakfast , if you are not full on on Chinese breakfast its a no no. AND no coffee EVEN though the COFFEE MACHINE looked like it had just been plugged off. sign sating being fixed. come on .It's a 4 diamond rating but it felt more like 2. It's also smaller than it links in the video and pics. There's an awesome restaurant at the entrance on the right. It made a whole lotta difference. Highly reccomend eating here. And we did!Twice. Food was not bad. definitely order the ribs. The staff is nice especially the restaurant lady. Would I stay again? NO
