"The guesthouse facilities are quite new, with the backyard and downstairs still under construction. The 270-degree glass window offers a nice view, but it's only good from afar; up close, you just see construction below. The hot water was a bit inconsistent, and the bathtub water would get cold quickly, so overall, it didn't feel as reliable as a hotel. Let me emphasize the breakfast: aside from the congee and noodles, everything else was cold. There wasn't much variety to begin with, and even the scrambled eggs with corn and cucumber slices that my child ate were cold. Breakfast officially ends at 10 AM, but we ate at 9:30 AM. All in all, I probably won't stay in a guesthouse again next time."

"When booking, many other guesthouses in core areas were fully booked. I was drawn to this one's triple room and 180-degree view room, and my stay was a pleasant surprise. The guesthouse has an elevator and convenient parking. The rooms are very clean with smart voice control. The triple room has one double bed and two single beds, which is perfect for families with two children. The 180-degree view room is very spacious, with mountains and rural scenery outside the window. You can even light a stove in the room, which was a fun experience. Breakfast is served individually, with coarse grain rice noodles, eggs, fried dough sticks, congee, and fruit – much more substantial than I expected. There are many restaurants and rental shops for electric bikes near the guesthouse. It's also very convenient to cycle to various scenic spots in Mingshi Countryside. I've already recommended it to friends who plan to visit."

"This is a very unique guesthouse with a great location, close to the scenic area and convenient transportation. The rooms are spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. Each room also has a large terrace, perfect for enjoying tea with family and friends in the evening. The owner is very attentive and welcoming, making us feel right at home. They even gave us a complimentary Americano and handmade ginger brown sugar. Thumbs up! I'll definitely come back next time."

WeChat messages were always answered instantly, and requests were met without delay.
As a top-tier wild luxury hotel that's often fully booked year-round, I was thrilled to snag a room during the May Day holiday. Bringing my family for a vacation, the hotel's secluded location instantly washed away all our fatigue. During our stay, Butler Jolly meticulously arranged various activities for us, including bamboo raft afternoon tea, countryside cycling, and starlit spa treatments. She also perfectly coordinated restaurant reservations and transportation. Even last-minute small requests were handled efficiently and promptly, demonstrating both professionalism and heartfelt care. Their service never felt like a rigid, process-driven interaction; instead, it was genuine and attentive from the heart.
With mountains and rivers as its backdrop and luxury as its companion, LUX* Chongzuo Guangxi Resort, built upon stunning natural beauty and animated by exquisite service, is a secluded paradise worth returning to again and again. It's the ultimate hotel for a private, healing escape from the daily grind.
I even managed to capture some 'life-defining' photos here. The room itself was astonishing; the balcony was so spacious you could dance on it, and every window offered a scenic masterpiece.

GGuest UserThe hotel is beautiful and clean, and the room was very comfortable. The smart toilet wasn't super clean, but they provided disinfectant wipes and disposable toilet seat covers. The toiletries had a lovely grapefruit scent, and my hands smelled great after washing. The bedding was quite comfortable, with two types of pillows, both at a perfect height for me. The hotel restaurant food was excellent; breakfast was quite rich. We ordered three dishes for dinner: pepper pork stomach soup, fried river fish and shrimp, and fish head hotpot, all of which were surprisingly delicious. The restaurant service was friendly and enthusiastic, though not very professional. The complimentary sweet soup in the evening was very tasty. The afternoon tea desserts looked beautiful, but I'm not a big fan of sweets, so I didn't find them particularly delicious. My husband, however, really liked one steamed dish, which seemed to be steamed milk or something similar.
The laundry room was very clean; it's best to use it during off-peak hours. The pool also looked clean, but it was too hot outside, so I didn't have the energy to go for a swim.
The only thing that bothered me was that even though we stayed for two nights, we only got one sachet. I had hoped my husband and I could each have one. At check-out, they gave us a box of local brown sugar as a gift.
The hotel is right in front of the Fish Scale Dam, and it's very pleasant to walk around the area. It would have been perfect if the weather had been cooler.

It's very close to the town's pedestrian street, where you can find breakfast and local specialties. The owners are very friendly, the food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. GGuest User1. The service was absolutely fantastic, from the front desk staff to the cleaning aunties. Their warmth felt genuinely sincere, not just a professional facade.
2. The environment is great, with a very large backyard that includes playground facilities, a swimming pool, a cinema, and relaxation areas. My child particularly loved the table football and played for a long time, having a blast.
3. The scenery is beautiful; just by opening the curtains, you're greeted with karst topography. Sitting on the windowsill, enjoying the view, and having a short rest, I could easily spend an entire afternoon there.

GGuest UserThe day I stayed, Tian Shan Zhuang was fully booked, so I was really glad I chose Ming Shi Mountain Villa instead. If you're planning to book here, make sure to do it early! The location inside the scenic area is unbeatable, making it much quieter than hotels outside on the main street. The rooms on the second floor have a shared corridor where you can sit and have tea, which is perfect for families traveling together. Since the hotel is right inside the scenic area, it's incredibly convenient to get around, and there are even separate security-controlled entrances where you just show your room card to go in and out.
We opted for the package that included a bamboo raft experience. I personally found this raft trip more comfortable than the ones in Guilin – our whole family fit perfectly on one raft. Sipping tea and enjoying the scenery was incredibly relaxing, and there were even interactive spots along the way, which was a nice surprise. The older folks especially loved it. In the evening, the hotel also hosted a bonfire party, which had a lively atmosphere filled with laughter. It was a wonderful experience all around.

GGuest UserThe hotel is right next to the fish scale dam, the location is very good, it used to take a minute or two, and the scenery outside the window is also very good. If it is more convenient to drive by car, because we are not driving by car, it is very inconvenient to go to the visitor center to eat by car. The original boss said that it can be delivered for free. The next morning, the aunt asked us to charge 5-15 yuan to send it to the visitor center by car. There are no restaurants nearby, there are stains on the sheets of the room that cannot be washed off, the pillows are a bit smelly, and the sound is generally soundproof.

MMaitland GroomStay here! You can stay at the park gate. Drive up to it at night. Sleep here. He’ll go get your tickets in the morning for you and then you can be in the park at 8:30. You’ll arrive right as the people who have to bus in arrive but if you’re not in a group you can get ahead of everyone and enjoy the park and be on your way around noon

EEatPrayTravelLocation of hotel is very convenient for travelers who take the tourist bus from either Chungzuo, Nanning or from Detian waterfalls scenic area. The room we booked had a nice view of the fields and karst mountains. What a beautiful sight to behold indeed. During the day, it can get noisy with all the comings and goings in the village and all around but at night, it was very quiet. The rooftop terrace was very nice and not busy when we were there. Breakfast was enjoyable with steamed buns, corn, soup noodles and boiled sweet potatoes- a healthy start for a very busy day. The very nice lady in charge of breakfast offered us breakfast on our check in day (we arrived at 10:30) and made sure we had enough to eat before sending us off to explore! We had never met a B&B operator who was so caring and generous. On our check out day, even though she was still busy with guests, she rushed out to bid us a fond farewell and a safe onward trip. Front desk and cleaning team were all very friendly, always smiling and helpful. All in all, a very warm and pleasant stay at Mingshi Scenic Area.

DDongfanganubisiThe hotel facilities are very new and the location is excellent. Now many B&Bs in Haona and Bay are under construction. There are only a few B&Bs with Linhe Scenic Area View. This B&B is exquisite and the best-no trees in front of the balcony and the view is very good. 5 minutes walk from Haona and Bay Scenic Area.
The boss is also very good, take the initiative to help with the luggage, and introduce how to play in the bay.

GGuest UserThe hotel is a little far from Chongzuo but you can hire a Didi for about 380RMB from the chongzuo train station. The hotel is located in a beautiful park where you can take a walk and see the 100 doors (I think it was called) and walk all the way to the border post 3. It's was surreal. Across the river you can see Vietnamese house and people. we waved. a drone showed up we left. To go to the waterfall we walked from the hotel to the tourist center. About a 45 minute walk. Not bad once you get there.
The hotel is old and starting to show the tear. You can tell it was once great but no renovations have been made in forever. The carpet had stains on it. not tiny ones. The little mini balcony was dusty. The bed was big but on the hard side. The towels are frazzling it was unbelievable. The breakfast , if you are not full on on Chinese breakfast its a no no. AND no coffee EVEN though the COFFEE MACHINE looked like it had just been plugged off. sign sating being fixed. come on .It's a 4 diamond rating but it felt more like 2. It's also smaller than it links in the video and pics. There's an awesome restaurant at the entrance on the right. It made a whole lotta difference. Highly reccomend eating here. And we did!Twice. Food was not bad. definitely order the ribs. The staff is nice especially the restaurant lady.
