Daxin Hotels with Pools

The room, facilities, and views were absolutely perfect. For a luxury hotel, I usually look forward to the service the most, but this time I was a bit disappointed. I was contacted by phone the afternoon before, but after failing to connect on WeChat, there was no follow-up regarding booking any hotel activities. Upon arrival, after calling to ask about parking, the butler helped arrange a welcome ceremony, which was very local and unique, and offered me some 'bingfen' (a local dessert) to try. Check-in was handled in a separate area. The front desk lady wasn't very chatty, didn't smile much, and after confirming my reservation, didn't provide any information about the hotel. Perhaps she assumed the butler would cover that. There was a brief introduction to the room, but no explanation of the Wi-Fi or mini-bar usage. All of this was later conveyed through standardized messages via the butler's corporate WeChat. My suitcase had two wheels damaged from rough handling. I asked the bellhop if the engineering department could temporarily glue them, but he simply said it wasn't possible. The Eggs Benedict at breakfast weren't very good; I'd suggest the restaurant management taste them themselves. I also asked for a celery mixed juice, and two different staff members immediately said they didn't have it. Eventually, a lady in a blue uniform said it could be made, but there would be an extra charge. Since I was only staying one night, I wanted to have some clothes ironed, but it turned out they needed to be sent to a laundry facility in Nanning, which was quite unexpected. I tried the rope-making activity, but the instructor didn't seem to fully understand it herself. I had booked it hoping to bring home something handmade, but it ended up being an awkward experience. The hotel actually has quite a few activities, but I suggest they take them more seriously, especially given the price point. I came into this trip with high expectations, but these experiences were a bit unacceptable.

This hotel is located within a scenic area and boasts its own private section. The river runs directly behind the hotel, offering immediate access to bamboo raft tours. If you want to see the rice paddies, it's best to visit in October; by November, they'll all be harvested and replanted with canola. The service is exceptional; you can park your car in the designated parking lot within the park, and the staff will pick you up and drop you off at the main gate using electric carts. The hotel hasn't been open for long, so the facilities are quite new, and it covers a significant area. The guest rooms have a rustic charm, and desserts are served in the evenings. We booked the 'stargazing' room, which features a full glass ceiling, allowing you to lie in bed and watch the stars on a clear night. Just outside the park's main gate, there are numerous dining options, with roasted suckling pig being a local specialty.

This hotel is nestled in the heart of Mingshi Pastoral Scenic Area, right by the Mingshi River, offering a beautiful and tranquil environment where you wake up to the sounds of birds and the scent of flowers. The rooms are spacious and feature distinctive Zhuang ethnic decor. Sitting on the balcony, enjoying tea and the view, is wonderfully relaxing. The hotel organizes many special activities, such as night cruises on the Mingshi River and Zhuang song and dance performances. The butler service is warm and attentive, showing great care. Plus, Mingshi Pastoral entrance tickets and bicycle rentals are free, and a buffet dinner and breakfast are included. It's truly great value for money and highly recommended for an immersive experience!

My experience at this hotel was a bit mixed, so here's a realistic review: The pros: The location is great, close to Detian Waterfall and the town. The restaurant on the first floor of Building A has delicious food, and the activity areas are abundant. The pool's design and location are excellent, so parents with kids can easily spend a leisurely afternoon there. Now for the cons: The front desk service was mediocre; they generally ignored my questions about快递 (express delivery). Even when we booked a specific time for the restaurant and were promised prompt service, the food was still delayed by almost an hour. The room facilities are old, and on the first night, rainwater leaked into our room, which we had to block with towels. The parking lot was full of mud, and heavy rain made cars skid, which felt a bit unsafe. Here's the main point: On our second night, we stayed in Building B, which is quite a long walk from Building A, and there were no staff members around. This completely negated any benefits of the abundant activity areas. I absolutely would not recommend staying in Building B.

The Mingshi Garden Scenic Area is quite large, but the navigation was accurate, so we found it easily. This guesthouse is a converted local villager's house, and there's parking available right at the entrance. However, driving into the village was a bit messy due to ongoing construction at other guesthouses nearby. The infinity pool on the rooftop is definitely the best spot for photos. The bedding and air conditioning in the room were very comfortable. Breakfast offered basic meals, and on the first floor, they also provided complimentary mung bean soup (after 6 PM), peaches, and local lycheu. The room rate of over 700 RMB is close to what you'd pay for a five-star hotel in the city, but staying in late June meant we avoided the peak season prices of July and August. The restaurant on the first floor also serves lunch and dinner, and you can order à la carte. The front desk staff were gentle and soft-spoken. My only slight complaint about this stay was on the first day, there were flies in the room, and the mosquito repellent spray bottle was empty.

An unexpectedly amazing hotel, definitely coming back on my next trip! I stumbled upon this hotel by chance for my trip, and the experience was absolutely fantastic; I just have to rave about it! Parking is convenient, and it's super easy to get around or find food, which is great for those on a tight schedule. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was impressed. The front desk lady had such a warm smile, greeted me by my booking name without me even saying it, and offered a warm welcome tea. Check-in was efficient and smooth, taking no more than 3 minutes. She also thoughtfully shared tips for local attractions and the hotel facilities' locations. When I casually mentioned needing a charging cable, she immediately brought over a 3-in-1, showing incredible attention to detail. The room itself was full of pleasant surprises! The cleanliness was impeccable, the bedding was spotless and odorless, and the mattress had just the right firmness, ensuring a great night's sleep for a light sleeper like me. The bathroom had a dry/wet separation, a clean smart toilet, and toiletries with a lovely subtle fragrance that felt high quality. The in-room smart control system was super practical; I could control lights and curtains with just my voice. The blackout curtains were phenomenal – I wasn't disturbed by the morning light at all. The ergonomic chair in the work area was also comfortable, making late-night work much less tiring. Plus, the panoramic floor-to-ceiling window offered an unbeatable mountain view. Whether it's the service, facilities, or value for money, everything far exceeded my expectations; every penny spent felt completely worth it. I've already recommended it to my friends, and when I visit this city again, I will definitely choose this place!

The facilities are complete. It's clean and hygienic, with an elegant environment and warm service. The handsome young man and beautiful young woman at the front desk are very responsible and told us about the tour routes and good restaurants. It's very close to the Mingshi Visitor Center. If you go out and turn right onto the main road, it's a 20-minute walk to the Yulinba Scenic Area. The breakfast is also plentiful, and the noodles are delicious.

Overall, it was a really good stay. In this area, it's definitely one of the hotels with a great location and excellent facilities. The room design is well-thought-out, and there's a beautiful view from the window, making for a very comfortable stay. The room comes with a washer-dryer combo, and parking is convenient right next to the hotel, which is perfect for those traveling by car. As for breakfast, it's a set menu and quite tasty. (I do want to mention the auntie who cooks the rice noodles at breakfast. When I asked her to add some blanched greens, she gave me a very sour look and said some rather unpleasant things. The day before, the owner was there and kindly added them. This auntie I encountered on the second day really left a bad taste in my mouth.)

As soon as I arrived at the hotel, I felt the warm and thoughtful service of the proprietress and the service staff. They prepared afternoon tea for us on the day of check-in, and the food in the hotel was particularly delicious. I didn't expect that the best meal I had out of the hotel was not in a restaurant, but here. You can tell by the way we finished every dish.

The hotel is a little far from Chongzuo but you can hire a Didi for about 380RMB from the chongzuo train station. The hotel is located in a beautiful park where you can take a walk and see the 100 doors (I think it was called) and walk all the way to the border post 3. It's was surreal. Across the river you can see Vietnamese house and people. we waved. a drone showed up we left. To go to the waterfall we walked from the hotel to the tourist center. About a 45 minute walk. Not bad once you get there. The hotel is old and starting to show the tear. You can tell it was once great but no renovations have been made in forever. The carpet had stains on it. not tiny ones. The little mini balcony was dusty. The bed was big but on the hard side. The towels are frazzling it was unbelievable. The breakfast , if you are not full on on Chinese breakfast its a no no. AND no coffee EVEN though the COFFEE MACHINE looked like it had just been plugged off. sign sating being fixed. come on .It's a 4 diamond rating but it felt more like 2. It's also smaller than it links in the video and pics. There's an awesome restaurant at the entrance on the right. It made a whole lotta difference. Highly reccomend eating here. And we did!Twice. Food was not bad. definitely order the ribs. The staff is nice especially the restaurant lady. Would I stay again? NO
