Amazing
夫夫君请留步Lake Shikotsu is the northernmost ice-free lake in Japan. It has a charming view. The area of the lake is more than ten times the size of West Lake in our country. It is surrounded by four large mountains and surrounded by virgin forests. There are not as many tourist groups as Lake Toya. It is atmospheric, quiet and beautiful. . It coincides with the opening of Lake Shikotsu Ice Sculpture Festival, 300 yen per person, three minutes walk, worth visiting at night. From the north gate of Sapporo Station, there is a white, blue and green wing bus that can pick you up to the hotel for a fee. The Italian cuisine for dinner is more delicious than I thought. There are eight hotels in total, and each family can reserve two outdoor baths for one hour each. As a hot spring hotel, the full suit of the waiter is a little weird. In fact, the restaurant owner changed his job to provide hotel services. The details are still different from the old hot spring hotel, and they are not listed one by one. A reminder, don’t live in Marukoma at Lake Shikotsu. It’s just a lonely hotel on the westernmost bank. There are dozens of Chinese tourists who flew out during the wing pick-up. There are no Japanese! There are densely packed hotels on the east bank, as well as the Ice Sculpture Festival, the cruise ship dock and the hot spring street to stroll around. If the weather is good, you can enjoy the sunset. To sum up, if Cuiming Pavilion can book the only lake-view hot spring room, it is worth it. If you can't book it, then consider Song of Water. I don't think it is cost-effective near 4k here.
Rrosie_qiqiRoom is spacious with a private garden & outdoors onsen.
Welcome puddings were very yummy and yet the buffet in there was very insipid. Frankly speaking, the only two good foods there are sashimi and rice, what a shame.
Others: Very close to the lake, 1-2 minutes walk; a large and cozy lobby with good jazz music from an antique JBL sound system; live music performance every night; lots of books; fireplace and roasted marshmallows; lovely shop on the 3rd floor (prized reasonably). All is well except the buffet. Did not try the Japanese one (needs to book and pay a lot) hence a bit regretted.
CClaire FanIt's hard to put into words...
This is a century-old hotel with natural hot springs, and its pros and cons are quite obvious.
The transportation is a bit inconvenient, and the rooms are quite basic. However, dinner was pretty good. There are quite a few bugs... It would be even better if there was an option to just enjoy the hot springs without staying overnight!
EEpianThe hotel boasts an excellent location, within walking distance of major attractions. Although the room is small, its modern minimalist design is thoughtfully laid out, maximizing space and making movement easy. A nice touch is the provision of two-piece pajamas for guests. The buffet for both dinner and breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious options. Overall, a comfortable and well-designed stay with great dining choices.
GGuest UserI booked this hotel as I needed to fly out early from Chitose. Overall I would stay again. I arrived at 12pm but wasn't able to check in until 3pm but my luggage could be stored. The rooms are SMALL but practical, no complaints. The TV has all the local stations - couldn't find any english stations. It is closeby the train station and shopping mall, so easy to go out and grab a bite to eat. I noticed that the airline crew were staying here as well.
As I had skis with me, I couldn't take the free shuttle provided, but the staff were kind enough to book a taxi for me.
NNe0I have stayed both of my trip in this hotel last year and this year.
1. There is a izakaya (居酒屋) opposite and its taste good. The Q is long but worth it.
2. This hotel provide shutter bus to new Chitose airport. There are certain timing for the bus. Remember to registered at the front desk
3. The breakfast spread was similar to what most hotel offer.
4. There is free public onsen available.
5. Free coffee and other amenities are available at the ground floor.
6. In front is the JR train station.
잔잔느It was good because it was close to the airport, and the free shuttle was also good. The breakfast was rich and delicious. The bathhouse was small, but it was good. It was good that pajamas were provided to change into. There were a lot of places to eat nearby, which was good. The building seemed old, but the other services were all satisfactory, so it was good.
GGuest UserThe room had a large heater, so it was super warm inside. The space was decent, with a sofa, a coffee table, and a desk against the wall. Breakfast was pretty good and quite refined. It's very close to the JR station. The breakfast area turns into an izakaya at night. Sometimes, though, it's closed, and you have to find another place to eat. The front desk staff can speak English. If you have any questions, you can email them in advance.
GGuest UserThe hotel has a great location and offers free parking/coffee and drinks.
The hotel staff were very friendly. The only downside was that the rooms were a little small, but I would still highly recommend staying here.
GGuest UserA very modern and new hotel because the room I booked was a newly extended block. The hotel is in front of a bus stop. Comfortable stay but parking space are limited. They have a big laundry room, breakfast having choice of traditional Japanese or Western style.
