Amazing
위위지니I had a very pleasant stay at Garden Hotel Shizuoka. The location is excellent, with easy access to Shizuoka Station, shopping areas, and plenty of nearby restaurants, which made getting around very convenient.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, providing a relaxing space after a day of sightseeing.
I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which made it easy to rest.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in and check-out were smooth but one thing that surprised and slightly confused me at first was that the front desk is located on the highest floor rather than the main floor, which is quite uncommon, but it was easy to find once I realized
SSheila Lim Yen SunI regretted booking only 3 days 2 nights. It was so comfortable staying at Nihon iro. Staff was nice, amenities were complete. They even provided some discounts vouchers for nearby eateries. We can even enter the spa for free. Too bad we had such a short stay, we managed to spend time at the beach enjoying some craft beef with some cherry beans fries. Life was great for 3 days. Thanks for sending us to mochimune station using tuktuk. Definitely will visit again and again and again!
MM37934****The room facilities are complete, and the hygiene is very good. The service attitude is excellent. It's a five-minute walk from the JR station, making it very convenient to get to Miho no Matsubara and Nihondaira. The port has the Chibi Maruko-chan Land museum and Shimizu Fish Market. There's also a ferry terminal at the port with boats to Toi, Izu. This is a transit hotel with great value for money.
KKen911TTA nice hotel with excellent hotel staff. Hotel room is quite large for Japanese standards. Rooms are clean and quiet. Hotel is about 5 or so minutes walk from the train station. I was able to lug around two large luggages to and from the station and hotel. Not to far of a walk.
Would stay with again, but they were fully booked. Oh well, next time i will spend a little longer in Shizuoka.
栗栗栗子The Quest Shimizu Hotel is conveniently located near Shimizu Station and popular attractions, offering excellent transportation. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a simple and warm design, perfect for both long and short stays. The staff are friendly and responsive. With numerous dining options nearby, it's an ideal base for exploring the Shimizu and Dazaifu areas.
AAnonymous UserGreat breakfast. Room size sufficient.
Front reception non Japanese staff customer service poor and rude. Unacceptable.
Overall would highly recommend
XXinbeidefudechengyuThe Shizuoka Station area is bustling, but this hotel offers a peaceful retreat right in the thick of it. From the North Exit, walk straight across the street for about ten minutes, then turn right, and you'll easily spot the tall hotel building. As with all Toyoko Inn hotels, a simple breakfast is included; this branch, however, exclusively serves onigiri (rice balls), soup, and beverages. The rooms are on the smaller side, so if you're traveling with two suitcases, you'll need to be clever with space. You can pick up amenities like toothbrushes and other essentials at the front desk. It's a solid choice for those looking for a convenient stopover or transit stay.
GGuest UserBasic cleanliness, interior, service, everything was the best
Basic unlimited popcorn, pudding, and drinks are provided, and beer, wine, and cocktails are provided from 6 PM to 12 AM
The sauna and rooftop pool that are available from 6 PM were also great
The only downside is that there are almost no convenience stores or restaurants around, so I had to take Uber for late-night meals.
GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located, just about a 10-minute walk from Shizuoka Station. It was also handy for shopping, with duty-free stores nearby. I had booked it specifically to see the fireworks festival, but unfortunately, it was canceled...
