NNastja DoNUSTAR Hotel is a must-stay in Cebu! It's a very stylish place. The hotel perfectly blends elegance with a modern vibe, ideal for those who value comfort. Here, you feel both at the heart of the action and in seclusion. The rooms are spacious and meticulously designed; I particularly loved the bathtub. And for food lovers, it's a true paradise—Mott 32 is beyond all praise. Definitely a top choice for Cebu!

The room is spacious and tidy, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing is excellent. The location is convenient, within walking distance to the subway station, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The breakfast offers a wide variety of fresh choices, and the value for money is outstanding. Highly recommended!

AAMtravelsThank you, Holiday Inn Cebu. My family and I had a great time staying there for a few days. Lovely was truly lovely—it really suited her name. She was the most accommodating from the very start. We wanted to thank her again during check-out, but unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance to see her. She went above and beyond in hospitality, and you’re lucky to have her. Keep up the great work. As for breakfast—OMG, we loved it! Special mention to the one who makes the coffee. Just a small note: it would be nice to improve or change the chafing dishes so the food stays hot. Other than that, the food and service were great. I will definitely choose this hotel from now on, as we always stay in the city for a few days before heading to our rest house. See you again soon, and thank you for the birthday cake and balloons!

NNeilmar The ExplorerMy family and I recently completed a 4-day stay at the Amber Hotel, booking three rooms. This was our third time choosing this hotel, and it’s easy to see why we keep coming back. The Highlights: Location and Service The hotel’s biggest asset is, without a doubt, its location. It’s incredibly convenient for exploring Cebu City and accessing various tourist spots. The staff, as always, were a standout. They are genuinely accommodating and responsive; any issues we raised were addressed in a timely and courteous manner. This consistent, warm hospitality is a major reason we return. Another consistent highlight is the breakfast. We love the wide array of Filipino breakfast delicacies on offer, it’s a fantastic way to start the day and a real taste of home or a treat for visitors wanting to experience local flavors. Areas for Improvement: A Couple of Minor Annoyances While our overall experience was positive, there were two recurring issues we hope the management can address: 1. No Complimentary Slippers: This is a small but noticeable miss. In my experience traveling across the Philippines, this is the only hotel that doesn't provide in-room slippers. For guests, having slippers is not just about comfort but also about basic hygiene, allowing us to avoid wearing outdoor shoes inside the room. When we asked, we were told we could purchase them, which feels out of step with the standard amenities offered by other hotels in this category. 2. Bathroom Drainage Issue: There's a persistent problem with the shower drainage. During a shower, the water doesn't drain quickly enough and overflows, spreading across the bathroom floor and around the toilet bowl. We did report this, and the staff responded by removing the metal drain cover, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the issue remains, and the entire toilet area still gets wet after every shower. Final Verdict: Still a Solid Recommendation Despite these minor drawbacks, I would still highly recommend the Amber Hotel. The prime location, the genuinely hospitable staff, and the delicious breakfast far outweigh the negatives. It remains a solid and reliable choice for families and travelers alike. We will likely be back for a fourth stay and hope to see these small issues resolved.

LLeif ReyYou get what you pay for with this hotel. Although some of the appliances are old they still get the job done. The smart tv was a great addition to the room as it allowed us to watch and stream movies and tv shows. The only disappointing part was the internet connection as it wasn't stable and it wasn't fast enough to use reliably if you wanted to work.

AAnonymous UserI stayed here so that I will not be late for my Japan visa appointment. It’s very near to the VFS office (just across the road). I checked in very late, but was accommodated right away. The room was clean, spacious, and complete with amenities. Puregold and Robinsons are nearby for any last minute buys like food and supplies. You will never run out of places to eat. The staff were friendly, polite, and prompt with their service. I highly recommend this hotel for short business stays.
